This is the FAA accident report for the mid-air collision in Florida one year prior to the 9/11/01 attacks on the WTC and Pentagon (and PA). I brought this up in the week of 9/11/01, but this story was apparently "lost" in the news at the time. There were subsequent articles on this topic, and where FReepers can still find them, they should be appended onto posts on this thread. Some important points to consider: the Saudi national who piloted his aircraft into the Piper Aztec commercial flight had received his pilot's license from the Phillipines Early blogs at the...

A Muslim organisation said yesterday that one of its founders had made a "grave mistake" when he sent money and letters of support to the historian David Irving, jailed this year in Austria for Holocaust denial. Asghar Bukhari, a former chief executive of the Muslim Public Affairs Committee (MPAC), which describes itself as a civil liberties group, admitted sending a donation to help Irving fight a libel case in 2000. Mr Bukhari said he now realised that Irving held "despicable" views. He made the £60 donation on the basis of a "limited" number of articles he had seen because he...

One of Britain's most prominent speakers on Muslim issues is today exposed as a supporter of David Irving, the controversial historian who for years denied the Holocaust took place. Asghar Bukhari, a founder member of the Muslim Public Affairs Committee (MPAC), which describes itself as Britain's largest Muslim civil rights group, sent money to Irving and urged Islamic websites to ask visitors to make donations to his fighting fund. Bukhari contacted the discredited historian, sentenced this year to three years in an Austrian prison for Holocaust denial, after reading his website. He headed his mail to Irving with a quotation...

The Shahi Imam was speaking at a function at Shoshtri Hall at Bhendi Bazar, where he released the inaugural issue of a Urdu weekly, Qaumi Jasarat Jadeed. In a highly controversial speech,...
