Showing they have no sense of morality, no grasp of corruption and no understanding of what defines a criminal, CNN gives us another one of those ubiquitous year in review stories, this one titled "Politicians who fell from grace in 2008." In this one, CNN has decided to reveal for us their top eight politicians that found 2008 to be a "career-buster" because of their "crimes and misdemeanors" or their outrageous controversies. CNN features corruption mired Rod Blagojevich, the sex crazed Elliot Spitzer and John Edwards, and the criminal bribe taker Ted Stevens among four others. Each of these men...

It's final. I've talked to some Freepers and we have decided to boycott CNN. You may ask why them and not MSNBC (which is more liberal) or someone else. Well, CNN is more standard and it seems like everyone in this nation takes this giant news outlet at face value. It's time we attack and attack now. Read on...

We all agree that the media really went out of their way of making Obama look like Christ Himself. They would look the other way if he did something wrong...but criticized McCain/Palin to the bitter end. We need to take some action. Let's start with CNN.Click Here to Read the Rest...

What do you do when you are a journalist and you let your guard down with a blog posting claiming that Hurricane Dean was God's Wrath For President Bush? Why you later claim, heh-heh, that you were really joking all along and only meant to satirize Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell for statements made almost 6 years ago. Such was the lame excuse of former CNN reporter in response to my exposure here on NewsBusters of his Bush Derangement Syndrome in Former CNN Reporter Suggests Hurricane Dean God's Wrath Against Bush that I posted yesterday. My point, of course, wasn't that Feldman really...

One can get an idea of just how far severe Bush Derangement Syndrome has spread in the MSM by reading this blog posted by Charles Feldman, a CNN correspondent from 1983 to 2004. Now freed from the constraints of pretending to be unbiased in public, Feldman lets his BDS hang out for all to see in The Feldman Blog edition of August 17, Hurricane Dean: God’s Wrath For President Bush? Hurricane Dean, soon to be up graded to a full blown Category 5 hurricane, is taking aim at Texas…the state that gave us George W. Bush. In fact, this could be a...

CERSKA, Bosnia (Reuters) -- The 18-year-old gunman who shot five people to death in a Salt Lake City, Utah, shopping mall was a survivor of the siege that ended in the Srebrenica massacre of 8,000 Muslims in Bosnia's 1992-95 war, a cousin said on Wednesday. Sulejman Talovic, who was killed by police after Monday's shooting spree in which he also wounded four people, fled his village with his family during the Bosnia war to Srebrenica, a U.N.-protected enclave, Redzo Talovic said. They spent two years in the town, during which Bosnian Serb forces besieged the enclave and Talovic's grandfather was...

SAN DIEGO The chair of the House Armed Services Committee asked the Pentagon today to remove C-N-N reporters embedded with U-S combat units. The network televised portions of a video on Wednesday showing insurgent snipers targeting U-S military personnel. Executives said the tape came to the network unexpectedly through contact with an insurgent leader. Representative Duncan Hunter wrote in his letter that, quote, "C-N-N has now served as the publicist for an enemy propaganda film featuring the killing of an American soldier." San Diego-area Republicans Darrell Issa and Brian Bilbray also signed the letter. C-N-N executives defended their decision to...

Saturday after Thanksgiving is the traditional day to purchase stamps for my annual Christmas card mailing... [snip] So, shortly before noon on that most recent post-turkey day, I sauntered into a neighborhood "U.S. Postal Store," [snip] and headed for the stamps-only section. I quickly found a packed wall of display racks offering a panoply of first-class postage devoted to the various elements of the year-end holiday season, specifically: 1) Christmas, featuring colorful, contemporary designs of Santa Claus with an array of inanimate, secular Yule symbols; 2) Kwanzaa, with not just one but two stamps promoting a totally fabricated "harvest holiday"...

CHRISTMAS IS NOT THE TARGET: Much has been written and discussed in talk radio and on the internet this holiday season as to why certain decisions are being made when it comes to certain symbols of Christmas. I have seen or heard stories along these lines on all of the following topics just in the past 24 hours... 1. TARGET vs. Salvation Army 2. Macys banning "Merry Christmas" 3. Bloomingdales banning "Merry Christmas" 4. The Denver Parade of Lights banning "Christmas" floats 5. Maplewood Schools in New Jersey banning all Christmas and Hannukah music from its Winter Concert. 6. Bloomberg proclaiming the NYC no longer...

Just in time for Christmas, America's two largest news magazines devote this week's cover stories to debunking the story of Jesus' birth. Among the conclusions in Time and Newsweek: Jesus was born in Nazareth, not Bethlehem; there is little evidence of three kings following a star, and the story of the virgin birth may have been borrowed. "The Nativity saga is neither fully fanciful nor fully factual but a layered narrative of early tradition and enduring theology," Newsweek writes in examining the Sunday-school version of the birth of Christ. This may be unwelcome "news" to most Americans. A Newsweek poll...

ANOTHER UPDATE: You can see a more complete statement on CNN's homepage -- click the "Netscape responsible for Bush photo insult" link at the top right. But since that's a java box and can't be directly linked, and probably won't be archived anywhere, I'm going to reproduce the full thing in the "extended entry" area below. Hit "read more" to read it. Read More » Text follows: Netscape responsible for Bush photo insult Disparaging image tags used to identify photos of President and Mrs. Bush currently circulating on the Internet were not created, disseminated or posted by CNN at any...

In a not-so-surprising move on the part of CNN employees, they placed an image of President Bush and his wife Laura on their homepage, and named the photo image '!@#hole.jpg.' The photo has since been renamed and by 9:30AM, !@#hole.jpg was removed from their server. This story first posted by Paul at WizBangBlog.com.

BOSTON, Massachusetts (CNN) -- President Bush declared victory in his race for re-election Wednesday, telling his cheering supporters that "America has spoken." "We've worked hard and gained many new friends, and the result is now clear -- a record voter turnout and a broad, nationwide victory," Bush said.

During a commencement address at the U.S. Air Force Academy, President Bush compared the War on Terror to World War II and cast the Middle East as a critical front akin to wartime Europe. Define the term "rhetoric," and discuss how words can be used as "weapons" and to sway political opinion. Then, examine the choice of words used by President Bush in his speeches pertaining to Iraq and the War on Terror. Inform students that Bush's address at the U.S. Air Force Academy was the second of six speeches before the June 30 handover of power in Iraq. Yesterday's...

NASAWatch Editor's note: "CNN Headline news is flashing several pictures of NASA Deputy Administrator Fred Gregory standing on the tarmac receiving the bodies of the Columbia crew at Dover Air Force Base in February 2003 and claiming that the photos are of caskets containing war dead arriving home from Iraq in 2004."

<p>NASHVILLE, Tennessee (AP) -- A new Merle Haggard song that's critical of the media's coverage of the war in Iraq is garnering so much attention that it's being rushed to thousands of radio stations around the country, a spokesman for the country singer said Thursday.</p>

Wednesday, April 23, 2003Hollywood Appeasers Cash In on Anti-U.S. RantsDon't believe the whining of Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon and other Tinseltown leftists who claim they're paying a price for opposing Operation Iraqi Freedom. They're getting rich from their anti-U.S. activism, according to the liberal Washington Post. Consider this boast from Janeane Garofalo, who still refuses to make the apology she so publicly promised after Iraqi citizens welcomed their U.S.-led liberators. "I knew when I started speaking out that it was going to be unpleasant, and I’ve taken my punches. But the positives have far outweighed the negatives,” she...

CNN's Jordan Defends Self; CNN Refuses toLet U.S. Use Its News CNN chief news executive Eason Jordan sent a memo to his staff on Monday reacting to criticism of him for withholding from CNN viewers information he had about Saddam Hussein's brutality, a confession he made in a Friday New York Times op-ed. "Withholding information that would get innocent people killed was the right thing to do, not a journalistic sin," Jordan insisted in the memo reported in Tuesday's Washington Post by Lisa de Moraes. Jordan wrote: "Some critics say if I had told my Iraq horror stories sooner,...
