SAN DIEGO The chair of the House Armed Services Committee asked the Pentagon today to remove C-N-N reporters embedded with U-S combat units. The network televised portions of a video on Wednesday showing insurgent snipers targeting U-S military personnel.
Executives said the tape came to the network unexpectedly through contact with an insurgent leader.
Representative Duncan Hunter wrote in his letter that, quote, "C-N-N has now served as the publicist for an enemy propaganda film featuring the killing of an American soldier."
San Diego-area Republicans Darrell Issa and Brian Bilbray also signed the letter.
C-N-N executives defended their decision to air the footage, saying its news value outweighed other concerns.

Why stop with just CNN? Boot every damn one of them.
I love the last line. It goes to the heart of all that the Conspiratorial News Network is about

Sounds good to me.
They've proven they hate America.
BTW, I'd like to see all the Democrats who claim to be Christian pray in public for the protection of our troops (and other good people) in Iraq and for the confounding of those who would bring harm to members of either group.

I hated those weasly little bastards. They were a huge hindrence on patrol. One more unarmed idiot to have to look out for. They would do incredibly stupid stuff to get footage in a firefight. I finally told my guys not to provide covering fire for then any more. Just let the f***er get his ass shot. One of them had an AK round go clean through his camera. He could not stop shaking for about an hour. Inside, we were lauging our asses off at him.

That's the problem with these inbeds.
They think it's a stinking video game. Until real bullets fly their way.
Then they cry that they were 'abandoned' by our forces.
They're nothing more than self important pansies that need a babysitter.
Kick them all out. Period!

***Executives said the tape came to the network unexpectedly through contact with an insurgent leader**
1. What proof do they have that their CNN cameraman wasnt the one who shot the footage.
2. If they have this great contact with insurgent leaders why arent they being looked at as treasonable.
I agree with Poster 1 . Get the whole bunch out of there.
All along we have been getting these tapes from so-caaled insurgent sources. Then we find that many of these picture and tapes are doctored. The media gives every appearance of working for the enemy.

Other concerns? These cowards were afraid to show the Danish cartoons, even though it was the biggest story in that news cycle. THEY WERE AFRAID OF THE MUSLIMS.
Where is anybody who will protect the rights of the families of those soldiers? This is not Nicolas Berg's beheading on the Internet, it is being shown on a licensed TV station which is subject to the FCC regulations.
My USMC son is in Iraq right now. How can I prevent some reporter from standing by while a terrorist sniper targets and kills him? The Wallace/Jennings scenario has come to pass, and there is nobody standing up and saying that this is murder. This is aiding and abetting the murder of American troops. CNN has dropped it's mask. They have revealed themselves to be the puppetmasters who steer this war to their ratings advantage. The CNN reporter is supposedly in England right now. Extradite him and charge him with murder.

In their twisted, cirular logic way, they somehow think airing footage of American soldiers getting shot will enrage the public enough to force us to pull out. I really take issue at them calling these s***bags "snipers". Taking a shot at someone from 100m does not make you a sniper. Taking a shot at someone at 700m makes you a sniper.

I would rather jsut have them fragged in some accidental friendly fire....sorry...normally I never want anyone hurt or killed ...but I've got no respect and would have no sympathy for these anti-americans that borderline treason in demoralizing american troops and aid & comfort the terrorists just to portray how the US is so evil!!!!

CNN and the terrorists are allies in Iraq and Afghanistan. Both groups have an objective to kill or injure as many members of the U.S. military as possible. The only differences between the two groups are the weapons of choice and tactics; terrorists prefer a rifle and open aggression whereas CNN prefers video equipment and deceit.
CNN should not be permitted to accompany our military anywhere on the planet.
If there was justice in the world, CNN executives would be exiled from the USA and CNN physical facilities would be shuttered in our country.
