William F. Buckley Jr. once quipped that he would rather be governed by the first 2,000 names in the Boston phone book than by the Harvard faculty. New York City is about to be governed by the Columbia University student body. A city that used to think of itself as grown up has just elected a mayor who seems the very embodiment of the American college student: uninformed, entitled and self-important, enjoying a regal quality of life that depends parasitically upon a civilization about which he knows nothing, yet for which he has nothing but scorn. American college students regularly...

Who would have thunk it? Marjorie Taylor Greene, Morning Joe's favorite Republican member of Congress! But with her recent moves to distance herself from President Trump and the GOP at large, MTG is winning Morning Joe hearts and minds. The latest came today. After the show aired Trump's pointed criticism of Nancy Pelosi in reaction to her announcement that she would not be seeking re-election, and Speaker Mike Johnson's less critical but not flattering comments, the show aired MTG saying:"I will praise Nancy Pelosi. She had an incredible career for her party. I served under her speakership in my first...

The U.S. Army is not in “terminal decline” but at a “classical crisis”—a decisive turning point. Critics see an “obsolete” force, but the author points to historical parallels (post-WWI, post-WWII, and the post-Vietnam “Hollow Army”) where the Army successfully renewed itself. Signs of this “metamorphosis,” like the SkyFoundry drone initiative (aiming for 10,000/month by 2026), show the Army is adapting, not collapsing, and will emerge smaller but more lethal.

VIDEOThe director of the 2025 Miss Universe pageant in Thailand sure gave off strong Colonel Saito vibes when he berated Miss Mexico as a "dumbhead." This caused a walkout by the other contestants as the poor director screamed at them to STOP! Later the director, in an act of public humiliation, apologized during a ceremony for acting like a jerk. You just know he felt inside like Colonel Saito did when he was forced to backtrack on his rule about officers having to work on the Bridge On The River Kwai. Interestingly, that bridge in reality is also located in...

“We Know Nothing” – Eric Trump Slams PA State and FBI Silence on Butler Assassination Attempt Republished with permission from AbleChild. Eric Trump is demanding that investigators solve the mystery behind the alleged shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, who reportedly tried to kill his father at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania more than a year ago. For those who for months have been asking for the FBI to release its investigation of the assassination attempt, Eric’s demands seem fair. The President’s son reports during an interview on Pod Force One with Miranda Devine that “I’m very far away from being...

Well, here's another tolerant lefty in elected office. This ranting and raving lib is now the mayor of Couer d'Alene. What was said in the former ICIG Atkinson’s interview regarding the first Trump impeachment, that Adam Schiff did all he could to keep it hidden to this date? We know: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2025/11/05/the-hidden-transcript-of-intelligence-community-inspector-general-michael-atkinson-testimony-is-the-key-to-reveal-cia-targeting-of-president-donald-trump/ We knew that the interview with ICIG Atkinson must have been bad because Adam Schiff kept it hidden till this date. https://x.com/TheLastRefuge2/status/1986168316365242647? ...more

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) called out a truck driver for failing to obey multiple signs before crashing into a ditch. On November 5, 2025, troopers with CHP’s Hollister-Gilroy Division took to social media to detail how ignoring signs got a truck driver into trouble in the Gilroy, California, area. CHP “After failing to obey three regulatory signs advising not to take this road, this commercial driver drove onto San Juan Highway towards San Juan Bautista anyway and realized that his vehicle was not going to be able to negotiate a tight roundabout ahead. He was left no choice but...

BREAKING: Kari Lake put Congress on notice today that she is ending the tax-funded European Union and globalist mouthpiece Szabad Europa, the Hungarian Language Service at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, which is attacking and trying to destabilize Hungary’s nationalist government She writes in a Congressional Notification to House and Senate Appropriations Committees, House Foreign Affairs, and Senate Foreign Relations: “It is the position of the Trump Administration that the original justification for adding Szabad Europa to RFE/RL’s programming lineup in 2019 is not aligned with U.S. national interests. This programming has undermined President Trump’s foreign policy by opposing the duly...

Would you care to guess how many of those 21 Congressmen are Republicans, representing that 41 percent of the population that voted GOP for president in 2024? Can we talk about gerrymandering? A year ago, in the six New England states, 3,095,520 people voted for Donald J. Trump. That works out to just under 41 percent of the overall electorate. Next statistic: New England has 21 of the 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Would you care to guess how many of those 21 Congressmen are Republicans, representing that 41 percent of the population that voted GOP for...

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — Outraged residents have turned to social media to express their concerns after a surge of ICE activity in Westhampton Beach and Hampton Bays Wednesday. Large, unmarked SUVs in dark and silver colors were seen at multiple locations, including 7-Eleven in Westhampton Beach and the King Kullen parking lot in Hampton Bays. According to Minerva Perez, executive director of OLA of Eastern Long Island, a Latino advocacy organization, it is believed that about six or seven individuals were detained and arrested in the Hampton Bays area and, possibly, four in Westhampton Beach.

Illinois continues to hemorrhage wealthy residents. Since 2000, the state has lost roughly 1.6 million people — third most in the nation, behind only California and New York. Chicago’s population, even with the recent influx of migrants, is now at its lowest level in nearly a century. Illinois and Chicago’s sanctuary policies, routinely framed in moral terms, now function as political instruments — devised to offset population declines and protect Democratic dominance in state and city government. Yet these policies fail to replace the lost income. A 2025 Pew Research Center report estimates Illinois hosts approximately 550,000 illegal migrants, sixth...

Ephesians 1:9-10 (King James Version) Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: Havana on the Hudson has sunk to new lows as they have elected an avowed Communist as their mayor. Mayor elect Mandy has offered the working poor and Karens enough free candy as well as virtue signaling their proving they are not...

ZOHRAN Mamdani has won the mayorship of New York City, the most valuable metropolitan area in the world accounting for 4 per cent of American GDP, even though he promises socialism. In his acceptance speech, he thanked voters for ‘a mandate for change’ and ‘a new kind of politics’. On one hand, Mamdani has benefited from a leftist shift beyond NYC. Leftists won most of the elections on Tuesday. (These elections are asynchronous with midterm and general elections, as chosen by the states.) This shift is not necessarily personal. The nationally governing party is normally punished in local elections, despite...

The spread of Islam is not a new phenomenon. Ever since Muhammad's troops fanned out from Mecca in the 7th century, Islam has been spreading globally. But Islam's spread in Western democracies is a recent trend and one that is accelerating. Spread of IslamThis spread of Islam in Western democracies is led by the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamic groups that endeavor to maximize the spread of Sharia law and Islam in the targeted societies while minimizing detection and push-back. This is achieved through the five phases of IRICI: Incubation, Recognition, Infiltration, Confrontation, Imposition. Phase 1: Incubation When the first...

The success of this bullying, foul-mouthed ‘commentator’ speaks to a sickness on the contemporary American left.Until about four days ago, I was blissfully unaware of the existence of one Jennifer Welch – a former reality-TV personality turned Democratic propagandist for the podcast age.I now look back on my pre-Welch days as something like the Garden of Eden, a place I wish I could return to. I spend a lot of time keeping tabs on libtard excess, but this Welch lady really takes the biscuit. It is hard to shake the suspicion that Welch has been designed in a progressive laboratory. Her...

Annual Ad-Free Subscription… Real conversations like this are getting harder to find. Go ad-free and keep common sense alive. What’s happening in New York right now has a lot of Americans on edge, and rightfully so. A massive group of Muslims gathered and publicly claimed the city for Islam. People who watched it unfold aren’t being “bigots” for feeling uneasy. They’re watching their country’s biggest city slip further from the culture that built it, just days after electing a Marxist mayor. As Scott Jennings says, good luck, New York… A mayor who believes criminals are the “real victims” and police...

For too long, merit has taken a back seat in American higher education. Under the banner of DEI, admissions policies at many institutions have prioritized demographic balancing over academic excellence. But the pendulum is swinging back. A growing number of selective universities—including Princeton, Dartmouth, and Yale—have recently announced they will once again require standardized test scores for admission. These decisions reflect a broader reappraisal of merit-based criteria, driven not just by partisan pressure but by internal reviews of academic outcomes and fairness. The message is clear: Excellence matters, and the most promising students deserve a fair shot. Increasingly, qualified students...

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum just said fighting a war against drug cartels is unlawful because it would violate the rights of drug traffickers and it would be "fascist." "Returning to the war against the narco is not an option. First, because it is outside the framework of the law." "I said or have said on several occasions, it is permission to kill without any trial." She must be drinking from the same cup as Kamala Harris because what the heck is she saying?

For months, Americans were told that the U.S. was embroiled in a losing “trade war” with China, preventing the two world powers from striking any sort of deal. However, in the face of this supposed adversity, Chinese leader Xi Jinping and President Donald Trump inked a trade and economic deal, which included key Chinese concessions: agreeing to buy more U.S. soybeans, ease export controls on rare earth minerals, and crack down on fentanyl production chemicals.
