Who would have thunk it? Marjorie Taylor Greene, Morning Joe's favorite Republican member of Congress!
But with her recent moves to distance herself from President Trump and the GOP at large, MTG is winning Morning Joe hearts and minds.
The latest came today. After the show aired Trump's pointed criticism of Nancy Pelosi in reaction to her announcement that she would not be seeking re-election, and Speaker Mike Johnson's less critical but not flattering comments, the show aired MTG saying:
"I will praise Nancy Pelosi. She had an incredible career for her party. I served under her speakership in my first term of congress, and I'm very impressed at her ability to get things done."
That led Eugene Robinson to say that he seriously thinks MTG may be running for president, adding:
"I'm sorry, I thought I'd never say this, but on these issues, she's coming back more to reality. You know, she's giving more sort of reality-based analysis than we're hearing from Speaker Johnson, for example."

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, MTG is a whack job.
MTG and Pelosi have a lot in common. Both are in the grift. Pelosi insider traded stocks for decades. If you or I did that we would be in prison.
MTG in 2020 listened to the congressional briefing on COVID and liquidated all her stock holdings. She neglected to warn her constituents. That is also trading on insider news. MTG is not trustworthy.....
MTG is the GOP’s version of AOC. All mouth and no brains. And they are both attention whores. The best way to get attention is to mouth off as a lib to the press, and they both do it.
