BREAKING: Kari Lake put Congress on notice today that she is ending the tax-funded European Union and globalist mouthpiece Szabad Europa, the Hungarian Language Service at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, which is attacking and trying to destabilize Hungary’s nationalist government
She writes in a Congressional Notification to House and Senate Appropriations Committees, House Foreign Affairs, and Senate Foreign Relations:
“It is the position of the Trump Administration that the original justification for adding Szabad Europa to RFE/RL’s programming lineup in 2019 is not aligned with U.S. national interests. This programming has undermined President Trump’s foreign policy by opposing the duly elected Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban. As you know, Prime Minister Orban was (and is) the leader of Hungary, which is both a strong U.S. ally and a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).”
zeepers saddened...
Good news.
Hungary is a sovreign nation and an ally.

Stipe is an asshole. Other guys are cool.
Yes, good rational news.
Good for her.
That was at a time when all the jocks were going, “REM? That’s one of them PUNK bands, ain’t it!”
Saw them at a frat party when they started out. Stipe was high as a kite.
Sounds like a Soros project. He just keeps trying to destabilize anything he can. Seems he paid off people to emigrate to the US and the US should go back and make a determination. He must be paying off half of the US Congress because no one in the Congress ever mentions his name and this bastard is dirty.
Great news and outstanding job Kari.
One thing I liked about Letterman was he would actually talk to the people in the band. And shake their hand.
Watch a few Letterman videos. People don't even know how to shake hands anymore.
Good to hear.

I love stories like this.
My older sister saw the band U2 in Buffalo NY the night John Lennon was killed (Dec 8, 1980). At the time, U2 was unknown, and doing their first US tour for the "Boy" album. They were opening act for some local heavy-rock bank at a now defunct converted garage/warehouse-nightclub. after their gig, Bono and the band were standing around in the parking lot having a cigarette and beer, talking about the Beetles with the handful of fans who came to see them.
My sister noticed they were touring out of a small modified van-camper and wondered how they fit themselves and their equipment in the thing. She said they smelled like they hadn't showered or changed clothes in many weeks.
I saw Night Ranger on their debut concert tour.. I think they opened for Sammy Hagar (or was it Judas Priest?!).
Statesboro to Athens is not that big a drive.
So I saw REM, later I saw The Psychedelic Furs, and even later I saw The Chick Corea Elektric Band, at that same outdoor venue. Don't remember what it was called. Ran into a buddy from GA Southern for that one.
