(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that since 2001 it has led all nonprofit organizations in filing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuits, according to figures released late last year by The FOIA Project of Syracuse University. Elder Patriot – Attorney General Jeff Sessions has finally announced an investigation into the use of federal money to fund radical leftwing advocacy groups. In making the announcement Sessions cited that at least six billion dollars was funneled into what was essentially a slush fund for Obama’s army of street activists. It’s almost a certainty that that amount is going grow significantly. A report released yesterday by the Education Sector revealed that over $8 million had been given by the National Education Association to opponents of the No Child Left Behind Act. The organization has stated before that it would help “directly or indirectly, jointly or independently” other organizations that share their same agenda. The Education Sector, in turn, is largely made of policy analysts who worked in the Clinton Administration. WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Republican-led U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill on Wednesday to crack down on independent political groups that spent nearly a half-billion dollars in the 2004 election, most of it trying to help Democrats. The measure would impose limits on individual contributions to those groups and require them to register with the Federal Election Commission. The Chronicle is panting breathlessly about a "new study" in the rise of anti-gay violence. There are several problems with the study. Firstly, it isn't true. The Chron reports the following in today's paper: "Reported cases of domestic violence rose 25 percent in the gay and lesbian community in 2001, according to the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs, which oversees 26 community organizations throughout the country."
