NEW YORK - Emergency operators listening to trapped callers' heartbreaking pleas from the burning World Trade Center repeatedly said help was on the way while they struggled with crashing computers, utter confusion and their own emotions, several hours of 911 calls released Friday show. In releasing the 130 calls, city officials edited out the voices of those who sought help. AP just reported that the cries for help on the 911 tapes of 9/11 were edited out. Did CAIR complain that this would just incite more terrible violence against Muslims? Did the city officials responsible simply not want to offend Muslims? Did they not want to risk causing anger by having us hear again the agonizing pleas for help from our victims as the Cult of Peace struck? I'm just wondering what the motivation was to censor the tapes.

WASHINGTON — Air traffic controllers who handled two of the hijacked flights on Sept. 11, 2001, recorded their experiences shortly after the planes crashed into the World Trade Center but a supervisor destroyed the tape, government investigators said Thursday.
