Parents are undefeated when it comes to ruining youth sports. But we have first ballot hall of shamers in the parents of 3-year-old soccer player Nevada Pierre. As the viral story went, the Florida tot — who is black — was so darn good at soccer that people on the sidelines called the police on the wunderkind. ---SNIP--- The real reason poor Nevada is no longer in the league is pretty simple. His parents reportedly acted like entitled jerks during a i9 league game in Winter Park on Saturday. The league director said he took their son out to give...

Far-left “squad” member Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) claimed there is “much more trust in government” in democratic socialist countries, and she called government “the great equalizer of opportunity.” Jayapal lauded socialism in an interview released on Thursday on the It’s Open with Ilana Glazer podcast and also accused the “right wing” and “fascists” of sowing distrust in government to maintain control. “It is really important to the right wing, to the fascists, and all the people who want to control this country, and the billionaires, that people don’t trust government. Because, back to the idea of socialism, the idea for...

On his Truth Social site, President Trump has been praising the quality of RSBN's coverage at his rallies. . So I searched for recent RSBN YouTubes. And found a terrific interview with a regular MAGA guy attending the Port Huron, MI event. He brought his own sign to the rally saying, "You got to be a Fool to Vote for Abdul." His 9 minutes of informal Q&A from the RSBN reporter cut to the chase. So well done! I simply reformatted the transcript a bit. But check out the YouTube at the link... 0:00 RSBN: Sir, can you tell us...

It’s unclear how many users were impacted. The company’s U.S. platform was not compromised. Traders first reported on social media platforms that they were seeing unauthorized withdrawals from their accounts on Thursday afternoon. In response, the company halted trading on its international platform. Polymarket said that it has fixed the issue on its end, and that trading resumed at 3 p.m. ET. It told users later in a chatroom on Discord that users who had less than $10,000 taken from their wallets will have funds restored by Oct. 30, and those with funds greater than that figure withdrawn will have...

Daily Readings from the USCCBOn a sabbath Jesus went to dine at the home of one of the leading Pharisees, and the people there were observing him carefully. In front of him there was a man suffering from dropsy. Jesus spoke to the scholars of the law and Pharisees in reply, asking, “Is it lawful to cure on the sabbath or not?” Luke 14:1–3Today, we can easily and confidently answer Jesus’ question: “Yes, it is lawful to cure on the Sabbath!” But the scholars of the Law and the Pharisees were unable or unwilling to answer that question. And when...

"All Scripture is . . . profitable for . . . correction" (2 Tim. 3:16). God’s Word strengthens the repentant sinner. If you're a gardening buff, you know that skillful pruning promotes the overall growth and productivity of a plant. Jesus assumed His audience knew as much when He said, "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken...

At least two Harrisburg-area television stations have taken down an ad from a Trump-aligned PAC that sought to boost Republican Congressman Scott Perry by airing an unsubstantiated allegation of public nudity against Janelle Stelson, his Democratic opponent. The now-stricken ad relies on a statement from Stelson’s next-door neighbor, Sharon Orr, that she saw Stelson naked outdoors and took a photo before calling the police – the same allegation that Perry has used in ads from his own campaign, which began airing online last week. Perry has declined to say what, if any, attempts were made to verify Orr’s account before...

Metal has a woke problem. A very broad statement as it applies to a heavy metal, extreme metal slam hard-core goth punk. For most of the alternative subcultures that pride themselves on individuality and self expression, the word “woke” is not a vague term for kindness and acceptance. It does not just mean awareness of social issues For them, “woke” means hyper fixation on far left activism. It means putting far left messaging first, above all else, above quality and truth. The current dynamic is not that there are zero problems from the far right. It is that a loud,...
