GLP-1 medications for weight loss and diabetes appear to slow the body’s aging processes, a sign that the blockbuster drugs could ultimately help people live longer. Studies have found that along with helping people shed fat and control blood sugar, GLP-1 drugs improve the health of many different parts of the body, lowering the risk of heart, kidney and liver disease, for example, and reducing sleep apnea and inflammation, which contribute to loss of health and...

Bundled in heavy coats, hats, scarves, and mittens, Rafi Meitiv and his little sister Dvora had just spent a sunny Saturday afternoon in December 2014 playing at a local playground in suburban Maryland. After an hour, the 10- and 6-year-olds began their trek home, about three-quarters of a mile. While it was their first time walking from that particular park to their house alone, they'd traced the same route in Silver Spring dozens of times with their parents and had also ventured off alone to other playgrounds in the area before. About halfway through their journey, they were stopped by...

FIFA signed a more than seven-year lease, worth about $4 million, according to two officials directly involved in the deal and documents reviewed by The New York Times. The suite mostly sits empty. The terms of the deal, which have not been previously reported, raised concern among some senior FIFA officials about renting space in a Trump-linked building, in a high-tax...

OPINION: Hillary Clinton, of former fame — former secretary of the U.S. State Department, former presidential contender, former Democrat Party presidential primary contender, former first lady — jumped back into the political headline world with a sideswipe at President Trump made during a Barack Obama-Michelle Obama event. The event took place months ago, but she was proud of her wittiness and had to share it with the world. Proud of her pettiness. Proud of her tastelessness. “I was at the opening [months ago] of the Obama library,” she said this past weekend, during a Nebraska Democrat Party event, The Hill...
