Americans traditionally understood that what they owned was theirs, not the governmentâs. Yet, over the last century, that principle has steadily erodedâfrom gold confiscation to civil asset forfeiture to proposed wealth taxes. The emerging principle is stark: Your property is yours only to the extent that the State allows you to keep it.Preliminarily, what does it mean to own something? In America, the traditional answer was straightforward: it meant that the property was yoursânot the governmentâsâand that the State had no claim to it unless you forfeited it through a criminal act or the government seized it through eminent domain...

"[Love] does not take into account a wrong suffered" (1 Cor. 13:5). If you love someone, you wonât keep a record of their offenses. It is reported that when the Moravian missionaries first went to the Eskimos, they couldn't find a word in their language for forgiveness. They had to combine a series of shorter words into one compound word: Issumagijoujungnainermik. Although the word appears formidable, its meaning is beautiful, being translated: "Not-being-able-to-think-about-it-anymore." You've probably noticed that unforgiving people usually have good memories. Some can hold a grudge for a lifetime. But love never keeps a record of wrongs committed...

New Jersey Right to Life (NJRTL) strongly condemns Governor Mikie Sherrillâs decision to sign S2260 into law. This legislation grants sweeping legal immunity to abortion providers and erects new barriers against accountability for activities the state now broadly labels âreproductive health care,â shielding them from certain investigations, legal actions, and records requests originating outside New Jersey. âGovernor Sherrill just signed a blank check for the abortion industry and a death warrant for countless unborn children with beating hearts, and she did it despite thousands of emails from New Jersey residents urging her to veto this bill,â said NJRTL Executive Director...

Heâs hoping someone might recognize the suspects to bring them to justice. He didnât get a good look at them but said he believes theyâre either teens or young adults. âI could have lost consciousness or I could have been hurt a lot worse and drowned,â he said.

Democrats have largely subverted the mainstream media, reducing it to a party propaganda organ. Yet journalism will continue to be an impediment to their consolidation of power, so long as independent journalists like Nick Shirley let people know what is going on. So California came up with the Stop Nick Shirley Act in response to the political earthquake he caused by revealing Democrat-sanctioned Somali fraud in Minnesota. As California State Assemblymember Carl DeMaio observed, âIf this bill becomes law, the message is clear to every journalist in California: expose corruption and you will be punished.â Democrats have crossed the Rubicon...

The church, whose earliest accounts are recorded in the book of Acts, was established by Jesus and given a Great Commission (see Matthew 28:18-20) to continue His work in the world. Reports from of a resurgence in faith from Christian research organization Barna Group versus Pew Research Center showing a slowing and leveling off in the decline of Christianity, both from 2025, may not align, but both offer encouragement.
