NYC’s traffic cameras are now writing fiction. The famous “Knight Rider” car KITT has been hit with a speeding ticket in Brooklyn — despite sitting on display inside an Illinois automotive museum for years. The Volo Museum, based north of Chicago, said it received a $50 ticket from the New York City Department of Finance tied to its replica of the famous TV car from the 1980s series starring David Hasselhoff. “Well, this is a new one … we got this in the mail today. This is 100% legit,” the museum wrote in a Facebook post on May 7. According...

LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska Examiner) - Late last month at the Lancaster County Election Commission, Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen observed logic and accuracy testing for ballot-counting machines as part of his “transparency tour” across multiple counties in the state. Evnen, standing behind half-height voting booths, said every single ballot tabulator in the state is tested three times a month before every election — and that the state will conduct a typical hand-counted audit after the primary election, selecting random precincts to spot check. He called Nebraska elections the “gold standard,” pointing to a new state law that allows political...

'm all about respect and sportsmanship, but I also love a healthy dose of gamesmanship, and that seems to be what we're getting from the Vegas Golden Knights. Vegas is still in the playoffs and currently tied with the Anaheim Ducks 2-2. However, they were the talk of hockey at the end of the regular season when they fired then-head coach Bruce Cassidy with just eight games left in the season and the team on track to make the playoffs. It was a shocker — especially after Cassidy led the team to a Stanley Cup in 2023 — and the...

Daily Readings from the USCCBJesus said to his disciples: “I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth.” John 16:12–13Even Jesus’ closest companions, who spent three years with Him during His public ministry, could not bear the fullness of Truth without the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth. This is a significant reminder for us, who did not have the privilege of walking with Jesus during His earthly ministry. Imagine those three years: the disciples witnessed miracle after miracle, listened to...

Full depravity of Hamas during October 7 revealed for the first time: New report details how terrorists performed unimaginable horrors upon Israeli families. Among the mutilated and butchered bodies of young women slaughtered on October 7, it was their colourful, polished nails that many of the morgue staff remember Bright, beautiful, shiny, pink manicures glistening amid the pervasive 'grey and green' of death were often the only reminder of who these girls had been just hours earlier. Because Hamas-led terrorists had not just executed these women. They had 'deliberately and systematically' defiled them, as the most comprehensive account of the...
