Sydney Sweeney’s ‘Euphoria’ Character Responds to Being Compared to a Democrat: ‘I’m Not Retarded’

Actress Sydney Sweeney’s Euphoria character, Cassie Howard, implied her political stance during Sunday’s episode of the popular HBO drama, replying, “I’m not retarded” after being told she sounds “like a Democrat.”

“You sound like a Democrat,” an off-camera podcast host can be heard telling Cassie, to which Sweeney’s Euphoria character replies with laughter, before responding, “I’m not retarded.”

The line came as Euphoria fans saw Cassie go from stay-at-home wife to OnlyFans star in episode 5 of the show’s third — and most likely final — season, which resulted in Sweeney’s character gaining 50,000 subscribers and subsequently landing several podcast appearances.

During the fictional podcast interviews on the show, Cassie also leaned into tradwife tropes, lamenting, “If a man today were to say that he wants a girlfriend that can cook or clean, he might as well be screaming the N-word.”

At another point, Sweeney’s Euphoria character tells a pair of hosts that she feels “American men have been treated like second-class citizens.”

Agreed, she has her good points.

She also:

• Is very intelligent, high GPA, Class Valedictorian, etc.
• Excels at mathematics, works on robotics
• Is a major gearhead, works on / rebuilds classic automobiles
• Has her own auto shop website / videos
• Has a great sense of humor including poking fun at herself
• Has great business / financial sense
• Is a Republican and drives Democrats insane
• Has a terrific figure and flaunts it with style
• Has a balcony you could do Shakespeare from

I don’t think she’s particularly pretty - she’s a bit better than plain yes and has “ahem” developed well, but we can’t make her into some great icon of conservatism just yet

I caught on the news the other day where this girl goes topless in some of her movies. So I took a look, and she is gross! I researched further and she has played lesbian parts.

Her upper extremities are over sized, probably from implants, to the point to where they look ridiculous. And her facial structure is fair looking but far from beautiful.

She’s typical Hollywood. She’s tried to play up to conservative values, but she’s just as fake as Kristi Noem. I have little use for her.
