Silicon Valley’s AI chatbots contend with supreme confidence that Ilhan Omar did not marry her brother, ignoring strong evidence to the contrary, our Alana Goodman reports. As the long-running allegations receive fresh attention from Donald Trump, leading AI platforms like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude, Perplexity, and Google’s Gemini are dismissing them as “debunked” conspiracy theories. The posture of the chatbots reveals the bias of their mainstream media sources and a new frontier in the information wars. Some journalists, just not the ones the chatbots are relying on, have reported extensively on the overlap between Omar’s 2009 marriage—conducted by a priest—to...

For much of modern political history, the most dangerous words in public policy have not been shouted slogans but soothing reassurances. They are the claims that certain policies are “compassionate,” “progressive,” or “humane,” offered without any serious accounting of how they actually affect the people forced to live under them. This pattern is particularly evident in the agenda of today’s Democratic Party, whose policy choices increasingly produce chaos and danger while being marketed as moral advances. The central flaw is not malice so much as indifference to consequences. The pursuit of ideological purity has replaced the traditional liberal concern for...

A new poll has found that a majority of British people want to see Brexit reversed and the UK rejoin the European Union. This year marks ten years since Britain infamously voted to leave the EU. But after a decade of Brexit lies and failure, it seems public opinion has well and truly shifted on the matter. According to a new Deltapoll Survey for the Mirror, nearly six in ten (58%) Britons would vote for the UK to rejoin the EU if a second referendum was held. Perhaps unsurprisingly, support for rejoining the trading bloc was highest among 18-14-year-olds (86%),...

e know that Democrat politicians and judges can be vicious and corrupt, but with regard to Tina Peters, they outdid themselves. Tina Peters has been sitting in a Colorado state prison since October 2024. During the 2020 election, Tina Peters was the top election official in Mesa County Colorado. In October 2024, the 70-year-old widow was sentenced to nine years in prison by District Court Judge Matthew Barrett. Given the lengthy sentence, you might think that Peters molested a child, pushed someone onto a subway track, or stole $50,000 from a Mesa County bank. You’d be wrong. To Colorado Democrats,...

An American heiress has dropped a bombshell, possibly precedent-setting $12 billion lawsuit against some of the world’s biggest banks – accusing them of helping her late father loot her $350 million trust fund. The case reveals how Dick Sr....

Can men get pregnant? Years ago, such a question would have been an insult to the intelligence of anyone above the age of 8. And yet, Dr. Nisha Verma, a senior advisor to the nonprofit Physicians for Reproductive Health, attempted a rhetorical bob-and-weave when asked about it by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) at a congressional hearing on abortion pills Wednesday. “I take care of people with many identities,” Verma said before expressing a hestitation about where Hawley was going with his line of questioning. “The goal is just to establish a biological reality,” Hawley said. “You just said a moment...

PARIS/OSLO, Jan 19 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump linked his drive to take control of Greenland to his failure to win the Nobel Peace Prize, saying he no longer thought "purely of Peace" as the row over the Arctic island on Monday threatened to reignite a trade war with Europe. Trump has intensified his push to wrest sovereignty over Greenland from fellow NATO member Denmark, threatening punitive tariffs on countries which stand in his way and prompting the European Union to weigh hitting back with its own measures. The dispute is threatening to upend the NATO alliance that has...

Minnesota state Sen. Omar Fateh declared that Minneapolis’ Somali-populated Cedar Riverside neighborhood would be a “no-go zone for white supremacists,” a phrase that holds a long and controversial history in Europe, amid rising tensions over immigration enforcement and political protests in the Twin Cities. The comments were made in a series of posts on X showing Fateh standing in front of the Cedar Riverside towers alongside two other men. “Cedar Strong. White Supremacists aren’t welcome here. We protect our own,” the post read. When pressed by journalist David Marcus, who wrote that Americans do not allow “no-go zones,” Fateh doubled...

Civil rights attorneys frame the New Year’s Eve death of Keith Porter Jr., 43, as yet another example of federal overreach and racial injustice, but law enforcement sources and video evidence paint a different picture. An off-duty U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent fatally shot Porter on New Year’s Eve. Los Angeles civil rights lawyer Ben Crump said Porter’s life was “stolen” by an ICE agent and pledged to “stand with Keith Porter Jr.’s family until there is justice, transparency, and answers.” “Keith Porter Jr. was a father of two, a son, and a brother whose life was stolen by...

Vocal Trump supporters are demonizing Renee Good, her partner and their allies, with some even using an acronym: AWFUL, or Affluent White Female Urban Liberal. In the days since a federal agent killed Renee Good in Minneapolis, Republican officials and conservative commentators have called the 37-year-old white woman “very violent,” a “deranged lunatic woman” and a “domestic terrorist.” Some right-wing influencers have latched onto a different word — or rather an acronym: Ms. Good, they have said, was AWFUL. “An AWFUL (Affluent White Female Urban Liberal) is dead after running her car into an ICE agent who opened fire on...
