The Broken Arrow Planning Commission voted to approve the rezoning request to turn 15 acres of land just south of the Creek Turnpike along Olive Avenue from agricultural use to commercial and conditional use, allowing for a retail center and a mosque to be built on the site. The topic was contentious with over 60 people signing up to speak at Thursday's planning commission meeting. Opinions in the room were greatly varied. "This is a Christian nation," said one resident. "Islam is incompatible with Christianity. Islam is incompatible with our Constitution." Another resident disagreed, saying, "Approving this project sends a...

Dear friends, the TRUE CHRISTMAS GOSPEL MESSAGE this Christmas season from Almighty God is, ALL LIVES MATTER in RIGHTEOUSNESS and sent His Son to be born and be the SAVIOR of the world (Isa. 53; John 3:16-17; 1 Rom. 5:12-21; John 4:10)! Jesus was born for ALL, given for ALL, died for ALL, and rose for ALL in ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS! Beloved, be NOT DECEIVED by the deeds and violent actions masquerading and hiding behind flowery demonic euphemistic titles will never bring TRUE peace to a people or a nation (Deut. 4:6-8; Prov. 14:34; Psalm 11:3). Be NOT deceived! Broken families,...

There’s nothing ‘right-wing’ about defending the Bill of Rights. Being called “right-wing” or “fascist” is detestable. The label implies a preference for dictatorship, authoritarianism, and government supremacy over personal freedom. The exact opposite is true. I would describe myself as a supporter of autarchism in the sense that we should rule ourselves and not be ruled by others. As someone who believes strongly in individual liberty, self-reliance, and self-government, I distrust all repositories of power -- whether such power resides in government, corporations, or social institutions. As Lord Acton advised: “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” In...

Christian actress Letitia Wright may be best known for her role as Princess Shuri of Wakanda in Marvel’s Black Panther, but she gives all praise and glory to the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. Recently, at a Tulsa, Oklahoma ministry conference, the 25-year-old told the gripping story of how God saved her at one of the lowest points in her life. “I wasn’t always a Christian, and I went through a period in my life when acting was my God, and I really worshiped it,” said Wright during a live panel discussion hosted by Pastor Michael Todd of Transformation Church....

Members of the MAGA faithful gathered here Thursday to kick off Turning Point USA’s America Fest, the largest meeting for the organization since its founder, Charlie Kirk, was shot to death on a Utah college campus in September. Despite that somber backdrop, the event quickly devolved into a spectacle of MAGA infighting.

The Iranian regime is in dire straits. Thanks to the decisive actions of President Trump and the State of Israel, the Islamic Republic is no longer the regional power it once was, and it now faces crises on every front. Iran’s military infrastructure has been seriously degraded, and its illicit nuclear program has been severely decimated. Its network of proxies throughout the Middle East is disintegrating: Hezbollah is seriously diminished; the Assad dynasty has collapsed; Iranian-backed militias in Iraq face mounting political and public backlash; and Hamas is a shadow of its former self. The domestic situation is also bleak....

Minnesota officials and prosecutors are warning that the state is facing an unprecedented fraud crisis in its social service programs, with losses potentially reaching as high as $2 billion, according to those who have investigated the cases. Republican state Sen. Michael Kreun said Minnesota has long been aware of the problem but failed to contain it. "Minnesota has an epidemic of fraud, as the rest of the nation is learning," Kreun said. "We’ve known here in Minnesota for quite some time that we’ve had a massive fraud problem. And it’s turning out that probably Minnesota is the epicenter of fraud...

A high-profile Zohran Mamdani appointee resigned Thursday after newly unearthed posts revealed a series of antisemitic comments online — including rants about “money hungry Jews” and defunding NYPD “piggies.” The short-lived appointment fell apart once the Anti-Defamation League of New York and New Jersey demanded answers Thursday from Mayor-elect Mamdani’s team about whether its members knew about Catherine Almonte Da Costa’s past antisemitic posts on X, formerly known as Twitter. Da Costa, whom Mamdani tapped on Wednesday as the city’s next director of appointments, had several vile stereotype-laden posts from 2011 and 2012, the ADL revealed in a post on...

A cold-blooded serial killer who slaughtered five people was executed by lethal injection Thursday night in Florida — becoming the Sunshine State’s 19th death row inmate to die this year. Frank Athen Walls, 58, was pronounced dead at 6:11 p.m. after being injected with a three-drug cocktail while strapped to a gurney as a Catholic priest prayed by his feet inside the death chamber at Florida State Prison in Raiford. For his last words, the convicted killer apologized for the pain he’s caused his victims’ families.

Police, who held a line at the very gate of the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium on Thursday were pelted with potatoes by angry farmers worried a new free trade deal will see their livelihoods and industry destroyed. A government-authorized protest for 50 tractors in Brussels turned into a demonstration with “around 1,000” tractors present and over 7,000 farmers on Thursday. While the protest largely passed off without incident, there were clashes at the European Parliament building, where farmers threw potatoes and eggs and received tear gas and water cannon in return. […] The farmers are protesting the forthcoming EU-Mercosur...

I was there in an Ottawa courtroom when Tamara Lich, the leader of the trucker convoy, was sentenced to a year under house arrest. She's only allowed to leave her home for medical appointments and church, and a few hours a week to buy groceries. She's not allowed to go out for dinner or visit friends or even go for a walk. It's atrocious. But there is another exception: she can leave her home for work. That got me thinking. Tamara has worked with Rebel News before — speaking at our events across Canada, coming on our TV shows, and...

“‘The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field’” (Matthew 13:44). Palestine was a battleground for centuries; therefore families would commonly bury clothing, food, household valuables, money, and jewelry to protect them from plundering enemy soldiers. Josephus, the Jewish historian, wrote, “The gold and the silver and the rest of that most precious furniture which the Jews had and which the owners treasured underground was done to withstand the fortunes of war.” When...

The gunman who killed two students at Brown University was found dead in a storage unit after murdering an MIT professor as their decades-old connection was revealed. The suspect - 48-year-old Claudio Neves Valente - was revealed to be a Portuguese national who studied at the Ivy League school in Rhode Island more than 20 years ago. He had attended Brown to pursue a masters of science in physics from 2000 to 2001, before he took a leave of absence and ultimately withdrew from the school. It remains unclear why Neves Valente opened fire at the Rhode Island school, killing...
