Having just declared that Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior, a shooter’s bullet struck Charlie Kirk in the neck, and he toppled over at his speaking engagement at Utah Valley University today. He was thereafter pronounced dead at the hospital where he had been fighting for his life. Co-founder of Turning Point USA, Kirk was conducting one of the stops on his ‘America Comeback Tours.’ There have been very few young ministers of the gospel with more of a flare for communicating with young people. Kirk would invite all those with questions to the front of the line. He...

Steve Buscemi is known best for his acting, but before he was on the big screen he played a real life role as a hero as a New York Firefighter. The drive to save lives remained in his blood as “The Big Lebowski” actor quietly returned to the FDNY after the September 11th terrorist attacks. Steve Buscemi is a great actor, but the role he played after 9/11 is the one we should remember and celebrate most.

Multiple Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) locked down their campuses and canceled classes Thursday after receiving unspecified threats. HBCUs have previously been targets of violent threats, leading to a federal investigation. In 2022, the FBI launched an investigation into a nationwide series of bomb threats at HBCUs as racially or ethnically motivated violent extremism and hate crimes. At least six HBCUs received potential threats. Virginia State University ordered students and staff to remain indoors and canceled afternoon classes. The university said campus police, along with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, are investigating the credibility of the threat....

Charlie Kirk's hearse has arrived in Salt Lake City after his tragic death aged 31. His body was driven through the side gates of Roland R. Wright Air National Guard Base in Salt Lake City, Utah, where it will be flown by Air Force Two to Arizona. Vice President JD Vance will be on the same flight, and will also accompany the hearse to Kirk's home state along with his mourning wife and children. A funeral is now planned for next week, which President Donald Trump said he will attend. He added that he has spoken with Kirk's wife, Erika,...

Kirk, like all victims of gun violence, was someone’s family member — a husband, a father, a son. He was a professed Christian and a provocateur who took his message to places that were often hostile; he welcomed a back-and-forth with those who disagreed with his views. He was a media savant who leveraged his views into the algorithms of young people, particularly men, who have been historically reluctant to engage in politics. Many people who couldn’t have picked Tucker Carlson or Candace Owens out of a police lineup knew Charlie Kirk. Turning Point USA, the political organization he co-founded...

Founder of Turning Point USA Charlie Kirk appeared on Fox News Tuesday and wasted no time firing back after the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) officially designated his conservative youth organization as a “hate group” in its latest annual report. The SPLC’s 2024 report, released Thursday, identified 1,371 extremist groups and said that their growing influence is fracturing communities and undermining U.S. democracy. Kirk discussed the matter during an appearance on “The Ingraham Angle.” “Understand that they’re literally putting high school chapters of ours on a hate group next to the KKK and next to neo-Nazi groups,” Kirk told Laura...

Ginned up by a corporate media eager to dehumanize us into something that demands killing (Nazis, fascists, etc.), the violent and often deadly attacks on conservatives just keep coming. The State Department on Thursday said it was monitoring social media accounts of foreign nationals "praising, rationalizing, or making light" of conservative activist Charlie Kirk's fatal shooting. Kirk, 31, was killed Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University. His killer remains at large. "In light of yesterday's horrific assassination of a leading political figure, I want to underscore that foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country," Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau said in a post on X. "I have been disgusted to see some on social media praising, rationalizing, or making light of...

In the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, there were surely many people who would have liked to speak with President Trump. So, it's notable, for better or worse, that the president apparently accepted Joe Scarborough's call. On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough described some of their conversation, noting that the president called Kirk "a great man," and gave him credit, with his organizing and fundraising efforts, for making the difference in some of the swing states. Scarborough also commended MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler for having condemned the words of Matthew Dowd on Katy Tur's MSNBC show yesterday, in which...

I am not really a fan of Elon Musk however; I can find nothing that I object or disagree with in his diatribe that Musk shares. I must give credit when credit is deserved. It was posted 8 days ago, and watching it I think you will understand why I mention this fact, as he mentions political violence in his illuminating well thought out message. He is spot on with his analysis. It's a 24.5-minute video that is well worth the time to watch: Elon Musk Explains Why Democrats’ Hidden Agenda Will Destroy America

Jackson shared Kirk's Christian message back in AugustCharlie Kirk praised Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in the weeks before the conservative influencer was assassinated on a Utah campus on Wednesday. Jackson took heat in August for sharing a Bible quote Kirk had posted on his X account. The two-time NFL MVP was known for sharing messages of faith on social media and being outward about his Christian faith. Kirk applauded Jackson’s "courage and conviction" amid the backlash. In the wake of Kirk’s killing, Jackson wasn’t among those who shared a reaction. However, he shared Super Bowl champion Torrey Smith’s post....

Republicans jammed through a change to Senate rules on Thursday that will allow them to more quickly confirm many of President Donald Trump’s nominees. The move came over the objections of Democrats after bipartisan negotiations collapsed. The rules change will allow nominees to be considered en bloc, or as a group, as tensions have grown over several months between the two parties over the backlog of President Donald Trump’s nominees awaiting Senate confirmation. The vote was 45-53. Bipartisan negotiators worked furiously Thursday to reach an agreement that would head off Republicans from using the so-called nuclear option to allow the...

The FBI published a picture of the potential shooter, but unless it was a short barreled rifle with a folding stock, he wasn’t carrying the rifle in the stairwell which means it was already on the roof. Since the FBI apparently has video of who was accessing the roof, they should review footage from that day and days prior to see who could be carrying a package that would hold the rifle they found.
