My friend, the late Anna Rumaderun, was a young Indonesian woman totally dedicated to friendship with The West based on the bonds of history forged in World War Two. Like me she had huge respect for General Douglas MacArthur. She trusted traditional medicine and died from breast cancer. She was terrified of modern medicine because two of her friends died post mastectomy. She leaves behind a husband with movie star good looks and a six year old little boy named after me. Rest In Peace, Anna. We miss you deeply. We know you ARE WITH GOD.

On both X and Instagram, the Sesame Street pages shared a graphic of multi-colored puppets reaching out so that they resembled the colors of an LGBTQ Pride flag. “On our street, everyone is welcome. The FBI’s anti-Catholic Richmond memo was distributed to more than 1,000 employees in FBI field offices across the country before it was ever leaked to the public by a whistleblower, according to documents obtained and revealed by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-IA, this week. What is more, Grassley found that the FBI had “produced at least 13 additional documents and five attachments that used anti-Catholic terminology and relied on information from the radical far-left Southern Poverty Law Center,” according to a June 3 press release from the senator’s office. Grassley also found that the FBI Richmond field office drafted an additional...

The Trump administration rolled back a controversial Biden-era policy Tuesday that aimed to force emergency room doctors to perform abortions under the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA), drawing praise from pro-life leaders and religious liberty advocates. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the reversal in a press release, framing it as a move to protect both pregnant women and their unborn children. “CMS will continue to enforce EMTALA, which protects all individuals who present to a hospital emergency department seeking examination or treatment, including for identified emergency...

Congresswoman Mary Miller, R-Ill., filed a resolution June 3 in the House of Representatives to declare June “Family Month” instead of “Pride Month.” According to the resolution as shared on X, the measure recognizes the role of the nuclear family as the foundation of society and highlights that children thrive in a home with married parents, a mother and a father. The resolution also points out the importance of marriage and family in light of extremely high divorce rates and the fact that many young people choose not to get married at all, while those that do are often penalized...

Today, Thomas More Society attorneys on behalf of Choose Life Marketing, filed a reply in support of their motion to dismiss in the U.S. District Court for Massachusetts, against a meritless lawsuit brought by abortion provider Four Women Health Services. Four Women Health Services argues the marketing services provided by Choose Life Marketing for Abundant Hope, a pro-life pregnancy center and co-defendant in the case, “mislead” women seeking abortions, simply because Choose Life Marketing employs standard marketing practices to better help Abundant Hope offer alternatives to abortion, such as parenting support, adoption resources, and material assistance. “Massachusetts’ abortion businesses, backed...

White British people will become a minority in the UK population within the next 40 years, a report has predicted. Former Republican New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu detailed Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s track record of antisemitism during a “CNN NewsNight” panel Monday night. Pro-Hamas demonstrations erupted at multiple universities and colleges since the Oct. 7, 2023 attack by Hamas that killed over 1,200 people in Israel, seeing protesters occupy buildings, chant a slogan that has connotations of wiping out Israel and block Jewish students from parts of campus. Sununu said that Omar, whose daughter was reportedly suspended for her part in the pro-Hamas protests, and Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York were “joining in.” ... “You guys are...

Nearly a dozen aviation insiders, including a whistleblower who filed a federal complaint, asserted that diversity initiatives cause unneeded distractions.. For one veteran airline captain, a routine flight to Denver changed her view about aviation safety—but not because of an in-flight crisis. Rather, the captain heard a story that—for the first time in her decades-long career—made her uneasy about putting her loved ones on a plane. During a 2024 conversation, a flight instructor described unusual steps managers had taken to salvage the career of a young female trainee pilot. The instructor described an “egregious” example of the apparent relaxing of...

In the United States, if Americans know anything about the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, it’s that the AfD are a bunch of Nazi-adjacent hooligans who threaten to return Germany to Hitlerism. They know this because that’s what the American media tell them. Very few will bother to go online to find the English-language version of AfD’s party platform. If they did, they would find a wealth of common sense, and proposals that sound like ordinary GOP positions, even before the Trumpening of the Republican Party. It’s the same thing in Europe, of course. In her speech last week at...

A recently released study that’s making the rounds in political circles confirms what’s been apparent for years: A significant percentage of leftists are mentally ill. Conducted by researchers from Tufts and Yale Universities, the study published April 30 found that conservatives self-reported having higher rates of “positive” mental health than their liberal counterparts. According to a graphic summarizing the data released by left-wing election statistician Nate Silver, 51 percent of conservatives described themselves as having “excellent” mental heath, while only 20 percent of liberals said the same. A similar dynamic also exists among those who self-reported having bad mental health....

Sen. John Kennedy came loaded for bear when questioning Kate Shaw in the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday. Shaw was invited by the Democrats. She's a University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School professor and an ABC News contributor. She also happens to be married to MSNBC host Chris Hayes. The subject in discussion was judicial overreach. Among the topics under that rubric was nationwide injunctions. Our sister site, PJ Media, reported Kennedy asked if any of the panel of witnesses thought that "nationwide or universal injunctions are not being abused."
