The U.S. profits while the EU is left to pay the bills under the alleged ‘100 Day’ peace plan. -snip- But suppose for a moment that the war will end, sooner or later, with a similar agreement. Ukraine wins by acquiring EU membership and endless U.S. military support. Russia wins by keeping the occupied territories and preventing further NATO encroachment on its borders. The U.S. wins by continuing to sell more arms than ever both to Ukraine and Europe, while also keeping the latter mostly dependent on American energy supplies. Europe however, is left to finance most of the reconstruction—the...

The daughter of Colombia’s president has waded into the short-lived standoff between her father and President Trump over deportations — suggesting the Latin American nation should send back an American sex tourist for every Colombian deported from the US. “For every Colombian deported we will return a gringo from the Poblado,” wrote Andrea Petro, the daughter of Colombian President Gustavo Petro, in a post on X Monday. She accompanied the cheeky message with a meme of dolphins jumping from the sea under a rainbow-crested sky.

"Our measurements imply that the supermassive black hole mass is 10% of the stellar mass in the galaxies we studied." Using the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), astronomers have discovered distant, overly massive supermassive black holes in the early universe. The black holes seem way too massive compared to the mass of the stars in the galaxies that host them. In the modern universe, for galaxies close to our own Milky Way, supermassive black holes tend to have masses equal to around 0.01% of the stellar mass of their host galaxy. Thus, for every 10,000 solar masses attributed to stars...

I would like to let my friends here know of something that I've been working to build, along with some other amazing conservatives, and it all started right here. Most of us all remember the amazing work that the Tea Party did from 2010 - 2016. We also know that they fizzled out. They were a powerful force for Conservatism and showed just how effective it can be, and how much people actually want it.We've lost that momentum though. One hurdle that has existed within the GOP is to nail down and define what really is conservatism, and what is not....

President Donald Trump has suspended dozens of government officials for trying to circumvent his executive order on freezing all foreign aid. Dozens of career government officials at the U.S. Agency for International Development were placed on leave on Monday. One agency staffer told the Wall Street Journal that 57 people were affected. 'We have identified several actions within USAID that appear to be designed to circumvent the President's Executive orders and the mandate from the American people,' said the newly installed acting administrator, Jason Gray, in an email obtained by The Washington Post. 'As a result, we have placed a...

The first victory in President Trump's battle to deport criminal aliens was achieved by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid in Boston. The focus was on apprehending persons who illegally entered the US who are also criminals--gang members, murder suspects, and those with prior convictions. Over 300 arrests were made. A later raid in New York City netted pedophiles, gang members, and a suspected terrorist. Over 500 arrests were made. A planned raid in Chicago was preceded by an ABC News Chicago broadcast offering illegal immigrants advice on how to evade detection and arrest by ICE agents. Acting deputy...

Georgia Power says they have been working with Town Center for several months to resolve their “highly delinquent” bills. They went on to say that disconnecting service at the mall was a “last resort.”

Prosecutors in California have reached a plea deal to end a nearly decade-long court fight with an anti-abortion activist and journalist who together exposed Planned Parenthood for allegedly trafficking fetal body parts. David Daleiden, founder of the Center for Medical Progress, and journalist Sandra Merritt, said Monday the criminal cases against them have ended, with the California Attorney General’s office agreeing to a plea deal that includes no prison time or fines, Live Action reported Monday. Videos taken by Daleiden and Merritt exposed the scandal after they went undercover at various locations, including the National Abortion Federation’s 2014 and 2015...

For too long, California and other states have viewed stormwater as either a threat or an inconvenience — something to be whisked away from cities and communities as quickly as possible. But as traditional sources of water face worsening strain from climate change, population growth, agriculture and other factors, those unused gallons of rainwater pouring across asphalt or down rain gutters are starting to be viewed as an untapped resource that can help close the widening gap between supply and demand.

SNIPThe disease afflicts nearly seven million Americans, about one in every nine people over the age of 65, making it a leading cause of death among older adults. SNIPOver the past 25 years, Alzheimer’s research has suffered a litany of ostensible fraud and other misconduct by world-famous researchers and obscure scientists alike, all trying to ascend in a brutally competitive field. During years of investigative reporting, I’ve uncovered many such cases, including several detailed for the first time in my forthcoming book.Take for example the revered neuroscientist Eliezer Masliah, whose groundbreaking research has shaped the development of treatments for memory...

One might imagine that Florida’s Republican Legislature, basking in the glow of Governor Ron DeSantis’ relentless competence, would be eager to continue the momentum on immigration enforcement. After all, they have spent the last few years hitching their wagons to his successes, strutting about as if they themselves were responsible for Florida’s rise as a conservative stronghold. Yet, when faced with an opportunity to enact real immigration reform, they did what weak men always do: they flinched.Instead of passing a serious bill that would empower the governor to execute immigration laws with the full force of the state, they opted...

Come October 14, 2025, Windows 10 support dies. Despite that, more users than ever are using Windows 10 rather than moving to Windows 11. I can't say that I blame them. Windows 11 sucks almost as much as Vista – remember that stinker? In addition, Windows 11 is less of a desktop operating system than it is a remote Microsoft client equipped with AI-powered Recall, telemetry, and data collection. You may see these as features. I see them as spyware. All this and more is why I use Linux for my primary desktop.True, I've been using Linux as my desktop...

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) apparently wants America to mimic Denmark’s financial system in a pivot that would further burden taxpayers. In a recent social media post, Sanders suggested the United States adopt the Dane’s system wherein steep taxes ensure citizens may enjoy universal healthcare, a college education at no cost, and guaranteed paid leave, Shore News Network reported. Denmark controls Greenland, and President Donald Trump said in December prior to his inauguration that American ownership of Greenland is an “absolute necessity” for national security and freedom, per Breitbart News. Sanders appeared to be referring to that issue in his social...

A news outlet has leaked U.S. President Donald Trump's alleged plan to end the Russia-Ukraine war in 100 days, which the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said is false. -snip- Trump's alleged 100-day plan to end the war in Ukraine includes conducting a phone call with Putin in late January or early February, meeting with both Putin and Zelensky in February or March, and declaring a ceasefire along the front lines by Easter, which falls on April 20 this year. Pittsburgh resident Rochelle Stewart, 64, is charged with indecent assault, corruption of minors and making false reports to law enforcement, according to Allegheny County court records. A plus-sized rapper has sued Lyft after claiming a driver refused to pick her up over fears she was too big to fit in his car and could 'burst his tyres'. Dank Demoss, 36, real name Dajua Blanding, filmed her interaction with the Lyft driver earlier this month, showing her arguing back and forth over whether she could fit into his vehicle. 'I can fit in this car,' Demoss said. 'Believe me, you can't,' the driver responded in the clip. Although the driver said he would refund her ride so Blanding wouldn't be charged for the trip, she sued the...
