Alright friends, now that Matt Gaetz is out of the running you’re going to hear a lot of takes on what happened and plenty of “keep your d*ck in your pants” lines too. And while that’s always good advice, the story I’m about to share goes way beyond anything you could possibly imagine. So if you’re interested in the whole story, consolidated in one place, of what really happened with and to Gaetz, take a seat and let me tell you a story Part I: The Tax Collector This story begins in Fall 2019 in Florida, with this man: Joel...

A suspicious package was discovered outside the United States Embassy in London on Friday morning, police said. The London Metropolitan Police immediately closed Ponton Road outside of the embassy in “an abundance of caution,” according to their statement, before they destroyed it in a controlled explosion. The U.S. embassy in London moved to a brand-new purpose-built location in January 2018. The 12-story government office -- complete with a moat surrounding it -- cost approximately $1 billion to construct and was funded entirely from proceeds of sale from other U.S. government property in London, according to the U.S. government.

A line of keffiyeh-clad protesters silently walked out of a Columbia University Jewish center during an event featuring a well-known Israeli reporter while an anti-Israel mob demonstrated outside the building on Thursday night. Footage of the disruption showed about a dozen protesters with Palestinian headscarves walk out of the Kraft Center for Jewish Student Life while holding up signs as Axios journalist Barak Ravid spoke to students. An anti-Israel coalition, Columbia University Apartheid Divest, accused Ravid of being a “henchman of genocide” and slammed the Ivy League school’s leaders for allowing him to speak on campus in an online post....

Hegseth’s critics often argue that he lacks the management credentials traditionally associated with the role of secretary of defense. However, this perspective fails to recognize the multidimensional nature of Hegseth’s career. Over 21 years of service in the Army and Army National Guard, he demonstrated battlefield leadership, earning two Bronze Stars for actions in Iraq and Afghanistan. His hands-on command experience, involving decisions in life-and-death situations, surpasses the theoretical and left-leaning academic military knowledge that some past secretaries brought to the role. Additionally, Hegseth’s executive leadership as CEO of Concerned Veterans for America provides a critical counterpoint to claims of...

When Donald Trump became president-elect yet again, D.C. resident Stacy Kane felt she needed to do something.... So, as his Jan. 20 inauguration creeps closer, she decided to reach out to fellow Airbnb hosts with a request: Consider taking your rentals off the market that weekend, or increase your prices and donate the profits to liberal causes... The Airbnb initiative was born out of a desire to “try to make any kind of difference that we can in the situation we find ourselves in as D.C. residents and just as human beings right now,” said Kane, a 40-year-old charter school...

Barely a week after he was announced as President-elect Donald Trump's choice for U.S. attorney general, MAGA firebrand Matt Gaetz has withdrawn himself from contention for the post. ... Later on Thursday, after Gaetz announced his withdrawal from contention for attorney general, Trump announced he is now selecting Pam Bondi, the former two-term Florida attorney general, as his pick for U.S. attorney general. ... But the rapidity with which Trump announced Bondi after Gaetz withdrew his own nomination does add further cause for speculation: Was all this planned all along? Was this elaborate exercise in musical chairs an actual instance...

Is this the mess-AI-iah? Just in case artificial intelligence hasn’t been taking on enough jobs lately — now it’s replacing the almighty. A church in Switzerland is now using an AI hologram of Jesus to take confessions from Catholic worshippers, as seen in a wild viral video. “I was surprised, it was so easy, and though it’s a machine, it gave me so much advice,” one awestruck worshipper told DW News while describing their experience with the Sermon-ator, located at St. Peter’s Church in Lucerne. The cybernetic savior is also fluent in 100 different languages, enabling it to converse with...

Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel is lamenting President-elect Donald Trump’s runaway win in the 2024 election race left her feeling “sad.” In an interview with the German news magazine Der Spiegel published on Friday – and first reported by Reuters ahead of the release of her memoir – Merkel said his victory had tugged at her heart strings. “If someone in politics does not allow for win-win situations, but only ever recognises winners and losers, then that is a very difficult task for multilateralism,” she said while explaining to Spiegel how his victory had filled her with sadness, continuing a...

On a Sunday morning, the Essex police showed up at the home of Telegraph columnist Allison Pearson to interrogate her because she had tweeted a photo of Manchester police officers posing with the Islamist Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, some of whose leading members were recently charged with terrorism offenses. Pearson’s crime, which resulted in the formation of a “gold group” normally used for dealing with major crimes, was tweeting “look at this lot smiling with the Jew haters” about the ugly photo. The Essex police claimed that “a complaint of a possible criminal offence was made” of “potentially inciting racial hatred...

To reiterate, we are conducting combat tests of the Oreshnik missile system in response to NATO’s aggressive actions against Russia. Our decision on further deployment of intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles will depend on the actions of the United States and its satellites. We will determine the targets during further tests of our advanced missile systems based on the threats to the security of the Russian Federation. We consider ourselves entitled to use our weapons against military facilities of those countries that allow to use their weapons against our facilities, and in case of an escalation of aggressive actions, we will...

According to Baram, the current ceasefire proposal would allow Hezbollah to regain its strength within a year or two. While the ceasefire proposal brokered by the US between Israel and Hezbollah would allow a temporary cessation of hostilities, a more permanent solution could be found within Lebanese politics, Middle East expert, professor Amatzia Baram told Radio 103FM on Friday. While he affirmed that the proposal was "not bad," Baram added, "From a more analytical perspective, the implication is that within a year or two, Hezbollah will return to what it was, and it will be better, more updated, more technological,...

Archaeologists in the Iberian Peninsula have discovered a 65,000-year-old tar-making "factory" engineered by Neanderthals — a feat pulled off 20,000 years before modern humans (Homo sapiens) set foot in the region, a new study finds. The sticky tar helped Neanderthals produce glue to make weapons and tools. The so-called factory — a carefully designed hearth — enabled the Neanderthals to precisely control the fire and manage the temperature of the flame that produced their gooey creations.... ...the newfound hearth, seemingly dug into the floor of a cave in what is now Gibraltar, shows that Neanderthals were skilled engineers who had...

In a recent news, we learned that the murderous Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) is now in 16 states in the U.S., committing crimes openly and brazenly. These gang members’ many horrific acts include robbery and murder, gang rape, assaults, shakedowns, burying people alive, and even beheadings and public executions. They are reputed to be more violent than the notorious Mexican gang MS-13. TdA first gained notoriety on August 18, when a video showed gang members wandering through an Aurora, Colorado apartment building, brandishing guns, knocking on doors, even breaking off locks and entering apartments unbidden. In this instance,...

A far-left climate change group has spent millions of dollars in a bid to help climate activists sound like human beings when interacting with other people. Potential Energy Coalition launched the “Talk Like a Human” campaign, which suggests activists use terms such as “extreme weather” and “overheating” in place of “climate change” and “warming.”Additionally, it promotes positive language like “enjoy” over “sacrifice” when discussing the future impacts of climate actions. The coalition emphasizes localized language, suggesting activists talk about pollution rather than the global scope of climate change.
