Recently, subscriber growth hasn’t been an issue. Last month Netflix reported it added 5.1 million...

This Autumn has been rough for the Southeast. First, Hurricane Helene ripped up Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas, and then Hurricane Milton hit a different part of Florida and tore it up. And the season isn’t over yet. Photo by Library of Congress on Unsplash By now, you may have already heard about what happened down in Florida and may well have happened elsewhere. It turns out that personnel working for FEMA knocking on doors to see if people were eligible for federal funds were told to skip the homes of obvious Trump supporters. After publication of this story, a...

Despite the growing notion among Democrats that Donald Trump would have lost the election if Joe Biden Joe Biden had stayed in the race, internal polling showed that Trump garnered over 400 Electoral College votes over the President before he was removed. Democrats staged a coup against Biden, a somewhat panicked and ill-thought-out move to remove him from the race following his disastrous debate performance in June. But according to former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau, it wouldn’t have mattered if they had not made that decision. As WokeSpy reports: The Democrats tried to frame Biden’s departure as a veteran politician...

Marn'i Washington, wanting to set the record straight, blasted FEMA's suggestion that she had made an independent, managerial decision telling staff to skip pro-Trump households. She said that this was a mischaracterization of what happened. Rather, it's standard protocol that even extends beyond Florida, Washington retorted, like the Carolinas.

Liberal women are stockpiling abortion pills and “morning after” pills and men are scheduling vasectomies at greater rates after Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election, left-leaning news outlets are reporting. Despite Trump repeatedly stating that abortion laws should be left to individual states, Democrats — including failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris — and pro-abortion organizations have claimed he will sign a national abortion restriction. Abortion also notably became a constitutional right in seven states this election cycle, after voters passed various ballot measures allow abortion throughout pregnancy with some limitations. On the heels of a Trump victory, abortion organizations...

A man has said he can’t believe his wife was ready to “throw away our entire life” after filing for divorce over his vote for Donald Trump. The distraught husband wrote on social media that he has been left without words that the marriage could fall apart over politics - and that the divorce papers could be served so quickly. It is only a week since Trump dramatically won the US Presidential election in a bitterly fought contest first against Joe Biden and then Kamala Harris after he stood down. There was plenty of mudslinging from both sides as Democrats...

A small business in suburban Wheaton is facing controversy after showing their support for President-elect Donald Trump in wake of the 2024 election. Moveable Feast, a Latino-owned family business, put up a banner in front of the restaurant that reads "Jesus is my savior" and "Trump is my president." “I grew up in Wheaton my whole life, so it was a little shocking to be honest because you know you can have different opinions, that’s fine, that’s what America is founded on and you’re allowed to have our own opinions,” Matthew Marquez, the restaurant's owner, said. Marquez said he opened...

Tech titan Elon Musk, who has been advising President-elect Donald Trump, doubled down on his calls to prosecute former chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci. “My pronouns are still prosecute/Fauci,” Musk wrote on X on Tuesday. The post was a reply to a pro-Trump account with the handle “Insurrection Barbie.” “Fauci retired from the federal bureaucracy as the highest paid government employee, with a $480,654 salary. His pension is estimated to cost 355,000 per year. His net worth is 11 million dollars. Not bad for a “public” servant,” Insurrection Barbie wrote. “So it’s stunning that in addition to all of...

A United States Post Office clerk went into work the day after the 2024 presidential election wearing Trump attire and was asked to change clothes. Michelle Albert, 57, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, says she felt “violated and embarrassed” soon after beginning her shift at the distribution center in Warrendale. “It’s the day after he won,” she says. “You should be able to wear what you want. Michelle began her workday like any other. “At 3:00 PM, I clocked in and I was staying there waiting for our pre-sort,” she recalls. “My MDO [manager, distribution operations] walked up to me. She came...

With Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on his way out, a MAGA power play amid the fight for Senate leadership is starting to rub some Republicans the wrong way. After 17 years in the hot seat, McConnell is expected to exit his post at the top of Senate Republican leadership on Wednesday, ending his run as the longest-serving Senate party leader in U.S. history... ...“Senators do not take kindly to having an army of social media trolls attack them,” one unnamed aide told Politico on Sunday, noting that the effort was only “pissing off senators whose votes Rick needs” to...

The dwindling Never Trump faction has nothing left to offer but contempt for Trump voters and fantasies of destroying the Constitution.Amid the celebration and relief at Donald Trump’s landslide victory last week on the right, there was a small yet shrill cadre of unreconstructed Never Trumpers, who, having convinced themselves that Kamala Harris would win, positively lost their minds. I should clarify that like the vast majority of Americans on the right, I don’t read or pay much attention to the dwindling redoubts of Never Trumpism over at the Bulwark and Dispatch. If I want anti-Trump programming, I can tune...

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Federal Emergency Management Agency can meet immediate needs but does not have enough funding to make it through the hurricane season, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told reporters Wednesday. The agency is being stretched as it works with states to assess damage from Hurricane Helene and delivers meals, water, generators and other critical supplies. The storm struck Florida last week, then plowed through several states in the Southeast, flooding towns and killing more than 160 people
