Donald Trump will be the first president to take office while several criminal cases against him are pending.
His ascent to the highest office in the US while facing dozens of criminal charges has left the country in uncharted territory.
Many of his legal problems will go away when he steps into the White House. Discussions already have started between Trump's team and the office overseeing federal cases about how to wind those down, according to the BBC's US news partner CBS.

Flame away.
The prosecutors and judges in these cases need to be brought to Justice for participating in malicious prosecution.
The judges shut out exculpatory evidence and defense witnesses, and let in all manner of unrelated slanders. They refused defense motions and got snippy when defense tried to speak on record.
They permitted judgment in the Carroll case with zero evidence and suppressed defense.
The first law the new Congress and Senate need to pass is one making “Lawfare” and “Weaponizing Government Agencies” both felonies.

It really depends how much Alvin Bragg and Letitia James in NY City and NY State respectively want to politically promote themselves.
Its a very risky strategy for them, but I think psychotic Democrats will encourage Bragg and James (and the respective leftist-judges) to go forward.
Yep, always expect the Left to take the evil choice, always.
Merritt Garland had a Constitutional duty in New York cases to get involved and prosecute the New York prosecutors and Judges Merchan and Engoron for the many blatant U.S. Constitutional violations of Trump’s under the 1st, 5th, 6th and 14th Amendments.
Garland’s claim that is a state matter is a lie. The 14th Amendment was added to the Constitution was added in large part because the States, including their Prosecutors and Judges were violating the due process of its citizens.
Garland knew from the beginning that Trump’s due process rights were being violated.
Because Garland did nothing, he is guilty of the conspiracy to violate Trump’s due process rights because deliberate indifference by Garland in his office is a crime.
If Trump was a Black man and that man’s due process rights were being so blatantly violated, he would have intervened and prosecuted those Prosecutors and Judges.
There is no other evidence needed to prove Trump’s prosecution’s have been and are purely politically motivated.
I am pretty shocked that this argument has not been made by even Trump-supporting attorneys.
These richard heads with teenises will drop cases or weakly defend on appeal or let the clock run out...
They go bye bye!
I hope so.
“Donald Trump will be the first president to take office while several criminal cases against him are pending.”
Donald Trump, after being wrongfully charged and maliciously prosecuted, will be the first president to take office while several criminal cases against him are pending.
FIFY!!
Those prosecuting DJT know they’ve got a $10 million book deal...assuming that the prosecutions continue.

Now I know why I thought BBC news was garbage.
Its a very risky strategy for them, but I think psychotic Democrats will encourage Bragg and James (and the respective leftist-judges) to go forward.

They better be clean as the driven snow. If they don’t cut the bleep, President Trumps AG will give them a colonoscopy.
