Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) offered his thoughts on Democrats’ losses in this year’s elections in a Sunday thread on the social platform X. “We are out of touch with the crisis of meaning/purpose fueling MAGA,” Murphy said in the thread. “We refuse to pick big fights. Our tent is too small.” The Connecticut Senator noted multiple issues he thinks the American left is struggling with when it comes to reaching voters, including having “never fully grappled with the wreckage of fifty years of neoliberalism” and moving “past the way people are feeling (alone, impotent, overwhelmed) and straight to uninspiring solutions.”...

The 2022 election went better than Democrats could have hoped. The party picked up governor’s mansions and state legislatures and expanded their Senate majority. It held down losses in the House. The promised “red wave” never crashed ashore. Perhaps it would have been better if it had. Looking back, the seeds of Democrats’ 2024 wipeout were planted in the quasi-victory of 2022. Three things happened in the aftermath. The pressure on President Biden not to run for re-election, and the possibility of a serious primary challenge if he did run, evaporated. Democrats persuaded themselves of a theory of the electorate...

Any Republican Senator seeking the coveted LEADERSHIP position in the United States Senate must agree to Recess Appointments (in the Senate!), without which we will not be able to get people confirmed in a timely manner. Sometimes the votes can take two years, or more. This is what they did four years ago, and we cannot let it happen again. We need positions filled IMMEDIATELY! Additionally, no Judges should be approved during this period of time because the Democrats are looking to ram through their Judges as the Republicans fight over Leadership. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THANK YOU!— Donald J....

Reclusive North Korea sealed itself off at the start of the pandemic in early 2020, and started to scale back restrictions only in the middle of last year. North Korea has only allowed Russian tourists to enter the country since early 2024, amid warming ties between the two nations. So far just Samjiyon has been officially confirmed but we think that Pyongyang and other places will open too!!!" Shenyang's KTG Tours wrote on its Facebook page on Wednesday. Beijing's Koryo Tour said tourists could "potentially" visit other parts of North Korea in December. "Having waited for over four years to...

President-elect Donald Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, the first phone conversation between the two men since Trump won the election, said several people familiar with the matter. During the call, which Trump took from his resort in Florida, he advised the Russian president not to escalate the war in Ukraine and reminded him of Washington’s sizable military presence in Europe, said a person familiar with the call, who, like others interviewed for this story, spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter. The two men discussed the goal of peace on the European...

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor stepping down is not the “sensible approach” as Democrats float the idea of packing the court before President-elect Trump takes office. Sanders joined NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker on Sunday, where he was asked for his thoughts about the idea.

They can’t fight back, because they don’t know what happened, they don’t know what’s happening, and they don’t know what will happen. One mildly interesting counterexample at the end, but wait for it. Watching anti-Trumper reactions to the election, I can only refer again to the “bag of sand” scene in The 40 Year-Old Virgin, where the weird new guy’s co-workers figure out he’s never been with a woman because he flails around helplessly while trying to describe the experience. Tom Nichols at poker night: Oh, yeah, man, America’s so hot, it’s like a…bag of sand. There’s an entire industry...

Donald Trump Jr. has doubled down on his father's campaign pledge to cut funding for Ukraine in its war effort against Russia. The United States president-elect's eldest son shared on Instagram a clip posted by former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin which read "POV [point of view]: You're 38 days from losing your allowance" over a video of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. On the campaign trail, Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance criticized the Biden administration for spending billions on military aid to Ukraine. In June, Trump called Zelenskyy "the greatest salesman of any politician that's ever lived" in...

President-elect Donald Trump raised eyebrows when he decided to hold a campaign rally in the Bronx in late May. The New York City borough has been one of the most Democratic-leaning counties in the country for years. Trump won just 15% of the vote there in 2020 and 9% in 2016. Democrats viewed it as a stunt amid his criminal trial in Manhattan. Some suggested the crowd was made up of supporters far from the borough’s borders. In the end, the rally stood out not because of anything Trump said or did, but because of who showed up. It was...

Americans are deeply dissatisfied with the brutal economy, and punished Democrats over it. It happened, again: Democrats lost a winnable election to a racist, orange-makeup-wearing carnival barker, despite his odiousness, immorality, and unbridled corruption. This time, Donald Trump campaigned on an even darker agenda — the mass deportation of migrants, calls for more violent policing, and demands of retribution against his enemies — and he didn’t have to try to steal the election in the courts or via a violent coup. In the battleground states, he appears to have run the table, and he will likely win the popular vote...

Democratic strategist Donna Brazile said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that her party can no longer pretend President-elect Donald Trump won because he is a “better liar.” Brazile said, “The truth is we should put it all on a table and have a great introspection as to what happened, what happened in New Jersey when Chris and I were sitting there on election night, and I’m looking at Chris like, Hey, what’s going on? What was going on in Minnesota? What was going on, of course, in Massachusetts and Rhode Island?”

VIDEOThis is a video that needs to be studied by Shrinks who are interested in analyzing the CRUSHING of liberal hope due to the re-election of President Trump in 2024. Watch as the liberal Pink Hat Lady aka rae.of.hope on TikTok goes from an upbeat smug attitude just before the election to shock on Election Night to utter apocalyptic despondency in the days that follow the election. Oh, and watch carefully because you can see her listening to the now viral Dr. Arlene, the smug liberal victory champagne lady. It turns out that the grueling psychological trip this Liberal Pink...

History-making ski resort Ukraine’s gas station network OKKO Group says it’s planning to invest $1.5 billion in a new ski resort in western Ukraine in what could potentially be the country’s largest investment in history. OKKO Group has said it started construction of the Goro Mountain Resort near Slavske — the company is putting $500 million into the resort and plans to attract an additional $1 bn from external investors. The resort is set to open for skiing in the winter of 2026–2027, with plans for full completion by 2039, and is envisioned as a premium destination to rival Bukovel,...

A few days ago, on the eve of the U.S. Presidential Election, the arrogance of political commentators in the United States and all vassal nations had reached unexplored heights. Singers, actors, philanthropists, public figures, and journalists who supported Kamala Harris went so far as to threaten to leave the United States if Donald J. Trump was elected, and in truth many today expect them to fulfill their promises. Even Jorge Mario Bergoglio made a gesture, with his trademark politeness, traveling in a wheelchair to the penthouse of radical Sorosian activist and abortionist Emma Bonino with white roses and chocolates, as...

German Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck said that Europe must enact strict speech regulations on Elon Musk’s X platform to fight so-called “disinformation”. Habeck, the likely candidate for chancellor for the leftist Green party in the upcoming elections, laid out his vision for Germany and Europe in a speech to the Neuhardenberg Castle Foundation on Saturday, including more internet censorship in the wake of Donald Trump’s victory. “We cannot put democratic discourse in the hands of Elon Musk and Chinese software,” Habeck said, per Welt. Therefore, he argued, strict EU regulations must be applied to platforms such as TikTok and X.

As Donald Trump celebrated his election night win at Mar-a-Lago, you did not have to look far to find those that helped propel him to victory. Mingling among the well-heeled guests were Trump's high-flying female aides who make up his glamorous inner circle. So just who are all the president's women?

A Florida county with the largest Puerto Rican community in the U.S. flipped red for Donald Trump for the first time in two decades. The Trump-Vance ticket received 56.1 percent of the vote in Osceola County, Florida in Tuesday's election. The area just south of Orlando is deeply blue and has a 56 percent Hispanic population with the largest subset being of Puerto Rican descent. Many Democrats thought Trump would underperform with Hispanic voters – especially Puerto Ricans – after a comedian at his Madison Square Garden rally compared the U.S. territory to a 'floating island of garbage.'

Sorry, haven't posted before, only commented so this may not be the way to go about it. I have seen the voting bar chart comparisons from about 2012 to current and also the election result comparisons of Obama, Trump and Biden as to the number of votes, electoral votes, counties won, house seats won, but failed to save a copy of them. If anyone has saved those two comparisons, could they please re-post them to this thread? Thank you!
