According to Google Maps, I live 39 miles from The White House. Looking at the region around the White House, I’ve thought about what might be a mascot for what Donald Trump and his supporters call The Swamp. How about Polyphemus, the one-eyed Titan from Homer? Another contender might be Medusa, the snake-haired hottie who turns those who look at her into stone. A more modern contender for The Swamp mascot might be Jabba the Hut from the Star Wars series. A vote for Donald Trump this November is a vote to “drain the swamp.” For those of you unfamiliar...

My stance on the Second Amendment is simple: I’m not going to take anyone’s guns away. I believe in the Constitution. But Americans need to work together to figure out why we have mass shootings every 21 hours. Something changed around the time of the Columbine shootings in 1999, and it wasn’t the number of guns in America. The National Institutes of Health refuses to investigate the mystery; in fact, Congress prohibits the NIH from researching the cause of mass shootings. Under my administration, that rule ends — and our kids’ safety becomes a top priority.

As weed has become easier to obtain, it has become harder to smoke.A strange thing has happened on the path to marijuana legalization. Users across all ages and experience levels are noticing that a drug they once turned to for fun and relaxation now triggers existential dread and paranoia. “The density of the nugs is crazy, they’re so sticky,” a friend from college texted me recently. “I solo’d a joint from the dispensary recently and was tweaking just walking around.” (Translation for the non-pot-savvy: This strain of marijuana is not for amateurs.)

Clemson’s 2024 season got off to a horrific start on Saturday, falling in a largely non-competitive matchup with the Georgia Bulldogs. And former NFL wide receiver Roddy White has one explanation for why Clemson perhaps didn’t come out and compete. Georgia’s offense had very few issues moving the ball at will on Clemson, particularly in the second half of the game. Star quarterback Carson Beck looked as good as advertised, throwing for 278 yards and two touchdowns in the 34-3 victory. Meanwhile, Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik largely struggled to show much growth in his season debut, throwing for just 142...

Most patients are not told that biopsy or surgical manipulation of a malignant tumor may promote its spread or metastasis. Most cancer deaths ultimately result from metastatic spread, and sometimes this spread can be initiated by the cancer biopsy or surgery. Therefore, it is crucial to minimize these effects if possible. Dr. Paul Marik inspired this Substack article, as he first told me about the potential beneficial use of propranolol just before, during, or after cancer surgery. This information is also contained in his upcoming book 2nd Edition of Cancer Care, and I encourage all readers to obtain a copy...

Those running the campaign for the back-door selected Democrat candidate are doing their best to keep voters unaware of several primary aspects about their candidate, such as: Her voting record as senator, her positions on key issues, as well as her disastrous performance as part of the Biden-Harris Administration. That is not all they do not want the voters to know. Here are seven more items they are doing their best to keep under wraps: HOMETOWN: BERKELEY VS. OAKLAND -- Harris was born in Oakland, California, a large city that borders the smaller, radical city of Berkeley. Having lived in...

The $400 billion federal clean-energy lending program that has faced criticism for moving too slow is stepping up efforts to push cash out the door before the election. The Energy Department’s Loan Programs Office was turbocharged by the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, which gave it hundreds of billions of dollars to lend to clean-energy businesses. So far, it has only used a tiny fraction of that capacity. Biden administration officials fear that if Donald Trump is elected, the office would stop making loans. The program was largely dormant while Trump was president. “The election is everything,” said Adam Forgie, the...

CHICAGO — Four men are charged with burglary after a Chicago Police Department surveillance camera operator allegedly saw them stealing big-screen TVs from a railroad car on Thursday morning. The group was arrested in the 6300 block of South Wentworth around 1:45 a.m. A CPD camera operator notified patrol officers that they saw four men loading TV sets into a pickup truck at a gas station adjacent to the Norfolk Southern train tracks, according to a police report. All four men tried to run away when cops arrived, but they didn’t get far. Police arrested Daryl McGowan, 25, Deveon King,...

Stories of the week: Tonga drag show, Walz loves ttater tots, and the Arlington Cemetary hoax. Press-gang is a term used to describe the use of troops working to round up and press free men into military service. Looking at the work of Dana Bash at CNN and the entire Washington Post staff, I think we need another definition: People posing as journalists working to bend our minds to untruths designed to fluff up the Democrats. From the absurd Dana Bash “interview” of Kamala Harris, her first since being nominated to the highest office without ever having received a single...

“The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And we know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit which He has given us” (1 John 3:24). Because the Holy Spirit affects every area of the Christian life, it is vital that we have a balanced and correct view of His role. The church’s understanding of the Spirit’s Person and ministry has been seriously distorted over the past few decades. Charismatics have given an undue emphasis to certain pentecostal gifts so that subjective experience is often elevated over objective scriptural truth. At the...

The notorious Shanghai-based Marxist millionaire behind a sprawling anti-U.S and anti-Israel disinformation network has a cadre of operatives embedded at Columbia University, The Post has learned. Neville “Roy” Singham poured the huge fortune he made off the $785 million, 2017 sale of his software company, ThoughtWorks, into at least a dozen nonprofits, including the communist People’s Forum in Midtown. The groups helped organized many of the protests that raged across the city and nation since Hamas’ Oct. 7 raid on the Jewish state. Documents The Post obtained show multiple apparatchiks from these organizations work at the Kairos Center for Religions,...

Russia has made sweeping advances in recent days that threaten to outweigh the gains made by Ukraine in its cross-border attack into the Kursk region. Russian forces are just a few kilometres from the Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk, a crucial logistics hub used by the Ukrainian military. Home to a key railway station and major roads, Pokrovsk is an essential supply and reinforcement point for Ukraine’s troops on the eastern front line. Critics in Kyiv fear that the country's military has made a serious miscalculation.
