Korbein Schultz, a U.S. Army soldier and intelligence analyst, pleaded guilty today to all charges against him in the indictment returned by a federal grand jury in March 2024 charging him with conspiracy to obtain and disclose national defense information, exporting technical data related to defense articles without a license, conspiracy to export defense articles without a license, and bribery of a public official. “The defendant abused his access to restricted government systems to sell sensitive military information to a person he knew to be a foreign national,” said Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen of the Justice Department’s National...

Democrat Party operative David Axelrod took Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of Donald Trump hard. The former campaign and White House adviser to Barack Obama took to social media to air his grievances over the scion of the premier Democrat political family endorsing the Republican standard bearer. “Robert F. Kennedy was my political hero,” Axelrod said. “He battled fiercely & eloquently against poverty, injustice and for economic fairness. Sadly RFK Jr, who made a rambling exit from the race today, proves that sometimes an apple DOES fall far from the tree…in this case, down a hill and over a cliff.”

Then head of the Justice Department’s Civil Division, he invented a new form of what 19th-early 20th centuries Tammany boss George Washington Plunkett famously called “Honest Graft.” It was simple. Until 1977, Congress had to approve any settlement of a civil suit against the Federal government over $100,000. This preserved the Constitutional requirement that Congress control the government’s purse. But in that year, seeking relief from the burgeoning volume of suits to review, Congress removed the cap, handing the Justice Department a permanent blank check to pay settlements unilaterally, in any amount, out of an account known as the Judgment...

Former President Donald Trump reacted in real-time to Vice President Kamala Harris’ speech at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday night, saying that Harris has “done nothing for three and a half years but talk.” Harris formerly accepted her party’s nomination at the end of the four-day convention in Chicago and spoke for a little under 40 minutes in an address that focused on slamming Trump. Trump reacted to the speech by firing off numerous posts on Truth Social. “She’s done nothing for three and a half years but talk, and that’s what she’s doing tonight, she’s complaining about everything...

A very informative discussion on the foods we eat and why it is making us sick, Many of the problems this nation experiences is because of what we eat. It may even be the cause for such a dramatic rise in the transgenderism. Something I attributed as being a fad, but is it? Or is it a result of what we eat, processed GMO foods which I never thought much about because my metabolism used to run high, but no longer does now. Note: It starts out with an ad about a behind the scenes video they created of Donald...

Don’t you want a president who is going to ensure the food your children eat isn’t filled with chemicals that are going to give them cancer and chronic disease?

Danny Jansen will make baseball history Monday when he appears in the same game for both teams. The unique scenario was set in stone July 27, when the Toronto Blue Jays traded Jansen to the Boston Red Sox -- about a month after a game between the two teams was suspended in the second inning because of severe weather at Fenway Park. Jansen was in the Blue Jays' lineup that night and set to take his first at bat before the game was called and announced as a split doubleheader for Aug. 26. A month later, the Red Sox, in...

Jason and Travis Kelce have become one of the most-popular NFL brother duos in history. While Peyton and Eli Manning dominated most of the NFL brother talk for years, Jason and Travis Kelce are coming for their throne lately. Jason and Travis Kelce have their own podcast and are reportedly seeking a $100 million deal for it. Perhaps we'll see them with their own "Manningcast" style live shows in the future, too. And, like the Manning brothers, Travis and Jason Kelce have made it pretty clear which way they lean politically over the years. Travis, who is still playing, and...

Bank of America strategist Michael Hartnett advises buying gold amid record-high prices. Hartnett said potential Fed rate cuts could stoke fresh inflation, which would be bullish for gold. Gold's year-to-date rally of about 20% is outperforming US tech stocks. Investors should buy gold even as the metal hovers around record-high prices, according to Bank of America investment strategist Michael Hartnett. In a note on Thursday, Hartnett said investors should "do what central banks are doing… buy gold." That's because interest rate cuts from the Federal Reserve in the coming months pose a risk to stoking a rebound in inflation next...

People are mad at Brittany Mahomes. Now, there's nothing particularly strange about that — I mean, it has happened a lot over the years — but what's notable today is who is mad at her and why. The most polarizing WAG in the NFL faced a wave of criticism after someone realized that she *GASP!* may have liked an Instagram post from Donald Trump! Oh boy… one of these… The wife of a multi-multi-millionaire might like the candidate with the economic policies that don't sound like they were drafted by a 19-year-old with pink hair and a Che Guevera shirt....

I have a question for LINUX users: We ran updates for LINUX last night, and when I turned on the computer this morning, I had no sound. It doesn't seem to be a problem with the speakers, and my Bluetooth ear buds are still getting sound when I listen to various YT sites; but nothing is coming out of the computer/speakers otherwise. Has anyone experienced this? We have Mint, I think it's 21. We have never had an issue like this. Thanks to anyone who has time to respond.

BREAKING: PRESIDENT TRUMP ANNOUNCES HE WILL ESTABLISH A PRESIDENTIAL COMMISSION ON ASSASSINATIONS TO BE HEADED BY ROBERT F KENNEDY WITH FULL POWER TO DECLASSIFY ALL DOCUMNENTS RELATED TO JFK, RFK, AND J13

When it comes to the assassination attempt against former and potentially future President Donald Trump on July 13, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) has been sharing details from whistleblowers about the incident, with more chilling details still coming out. As he revealed in a letter sent to Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe, a whistleblower "alleges that officials at Secret Service headquarters encouraged agents in charge of the trip not to request any additional security assets in its formal manpower request--effectively denying these assets through informal means." Not only is such information particularly damning to the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) and...

According to Fox Sports’s president of Insights and Analytics, Vice President Kamala Harris’s acceptance speech drew 22% more viewers than former President Donald Trump’s speech. Michael Mulvihill shared via social media that Harris’s speech, which started at 10:30 and ran to 11:15, saw a 15.0, while Trump’s speech in late July, which also started roughly at 10:30 and ran through to midnight, pulled a 12.3 number. Mulvihill appears to be referencing early Nielsen numbers, which are subject to slight change when final numbers are released later in the day.

Last night as the joyful Democratic National Convention where joyful Kamala Harris and joyful Democrats joyfully babbled on about how much they hate everyone who doesn't joyfully unify with them came to a joyful end, Americans were privy to something from Tim Walz that didn't look at all joyful. In fact, it looked angry and even cruel. He clearly didn't think we'd see it but someone caught this interaction ... and it's honestly a little scary. Watch this: Please note, we are in no way attacking or picking on Gus Walz, it's not his fault his dad grabbed his arm...

Yesterday, a federal grand jury in Kansas indicted seven individuals, including five current and former high-level officers of the Boilermakers Union for alleged roles in a $20 million embezzlement scheme that spanned 15 years. The defendants, led by 71-year-old former union president Newton Jones and 76-year-old former secretary-treasurer William Creeden are charged with widespread embezzlement of union funds. Over the last 15 years, the pair led a scheme that included more than $5 million in unnecessary luxury international travel and more than $2 million in salary and benefits to Kateryna Jones and Cullen Jones for no-show jobs. They weren't required...
