Leftist protesters chanted “Piggy piggy go back home” and “Pigs go home” during an anti-Israel protest outside the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago. A protester could be seen tripping over a curb before getting back up and gesturing toward a police officer on a bike. Other police officers can be seen then trying to make their way on the side of the road, moving trash cans as the crowd of disgruntled protesters made their disdain of their presence known with a “Pigs go home!” chant. JD Vance of Ohio, on parenthood. Now the hapless pair are digging in deeper as they try to cope with the post-Roe vs. Wade world — the one brought about by Trump’s Supreme Court appointees and...

Researchers at Western University in Ontario, Canada have discovered a protein that can curb DNA damage. The breakthrough discovery could have practical applications in anything from developing cancer vaccines to creating drought-resistant crops. The researchers found the protein – called DdrC (DNA Damage Repair Protein C) – in a common bacterium named Deinococcus radiodurans. The protein has the incredible ability to withstand between 5,000 and 10,000 times the radiation that would kill a normal human cell. Lead researcher Robert Sczabla says that Deinococcus also stands out for its ability to repair DNA that’s already been damaged. He explained that while...

CHICAGO — Nancy Pelosi, whose fingerprints are all over the defenestration of President Biden, has expressed deep sadness at the rupture in their relationship. Joe Biden was on the rise and Pelosi, a mother of five and devoted Democratic Party volunteer, hosted one of San Francisco’s must-stop political salons. (The kids were pressed into duty as waitstaff.) She now praises Biden as one of the nation’s greatest and most consequential presidents, deserving, even, of a place on Mount Rushmore. But when it comes to campaigns and elections,...
