Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) appeared several times with a local Muslim leader who has justified Hamas terrorist violence against Israel and once shared a pro-Hitler film on social media, according to the Washington Examiner. The Examiner‘s Gabe Kaminsky reported on Friday that Asad Zaman of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota was a frequent Walz guest and gave an invocation in 2019 before Walz gave his annual “state of the state” speech.

The leader of the Ansarullah Yemeni terrorist organization, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, lamented the “big loss” of Hamas “political” chief Ismail Haniyeh on Thursday, vowing revenge after his departure “greatly impacted” the Middle East. Al-Houthi’s admission that the elimination of Haniyeh from the battlefield had a significant positive impact on the war on jihadists in the Middle East follows a comment from American President Joe Biden that his death was not helpful, as well as his administration’s refusal to directly answer if Hamas losing its most important liaison to top allies — such as the regimes of Iran and Turkey — made...

Regarding the looming September 18 sentencing date in the Trump “hush money” case, Merchan could go either way, in my humble opinion. He could sentence Trump to one year at Rikers, but grants a stay pending appeal. But the pressure on Merchan to go nuclear (order Trump to be taken into custody immediately) will be huge, from state and national Democrats and from his daughter, who’s raising boatloads of cash from the case. Your thoughts?

A neighborhood in Portland has spiraled into chaos as the locals clash with those living in a homeless encampment. Residents in the city's southeast say the area has become like a 'war zone' as tensions continue to rise between locals and the homeless who have lined the streets with tarps and tents. Lacey, a woman living in the encampment, told KGW8 that someone hit her dog with a car, leaving him with a broken leg and an open gash.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, now the running mate for Vice President Kamala Harris, is facing questions about his role in freeing a man twice convicted of the killing of an 11-year-old girl, and who now facing gun and drug felonies. Myon Burrell, then 16, was convicted and sentenced to life in prison after a stray bullet killed 11-year-old girl Tyesha Edwards while she was doing her homework at her dining room table in Hennepin County, Minnesota, in 2002. Police said that the bullet was fired by Burrell, who was aiming it at a rival gang member at the time.

Former senior advisor for President Joe Biden Anita Dunn spoke about the president's decision to quit his reelection campaign, but argued his 'legacy' would be selecting Kamala Harris to be his vice president and political heir. She said: You know, it was rough. And no reflection on the vice president because I think one of the greatest things about Joe Biden’s legacy will be that he made sure that there was a pipeline in which Kamala Harris was going to be the natural person everyone turned to if something happened to him.

SHOCKING: Israeli TV Leaks Doctored Video, Causing Untold Damage to IDF Soldiers August 8, 2024. ...edited video that spliced footage from two different days as is evident from the dates that appear on it. Most importantly, the video showed no evidence of a crime despite the fact that the narrator of the video falsely states: “The footage shows documentation of the offense attributed to the reservists.” But that didn’t stop the video from being picked up by Israel’s enemies and broadcast to the world with the claim: “Here’s proof that IDF soldiers rape Palestinians.” As seen below, just one re-tweet...

As former President Trump blasts Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz over his response to the unrest in his state in May 2020 following the murder of George Floyd, a resurfaced audio recording shows that Trump had praised Walz at the time for how he "dominated" the situation. In the audio recording, which was obtained by The Associated Press on Wednesday, Trump was on a phone call with Walz and other governors and officials on June 1, 2020. "What they did in Minneapolis was incredible. They went in and dominated, and it happened immediately," Trump told Walz and the others on the...

In 2016, Democrats taunted Donald Trump as “dangerous Donald.” In 2020, they moved on from dangerous to say that Trump’s Republican Party was a threat to the “soul of America.” Both messages — one relatively successful, one much less so — emphasized the threat that Trump posed to America and the world. This year, as it mounts its third national campaign against Trump and his MAGA acolytes, the Democratic Party has abandoned the language of peril and danger in favor of something that is a little less heated.Trump and JD Vance, Kamala Harris and her allies say, are “weird.”It started with...

Day #5 of the Top 50 songs on my iTunes playlist -- ranked in reverse order by play frequency from #50 to #1 and presented here on a series of FR threads. I'm posting them here on a new thread that compiles the growing list one day at a time over the next couple of months. I only post them on weekdays and may miss a day or two here and there, so it will take at least ten weeks to do this. And to show my gratitude to the FR management for giving us all a forum to post...

Former President Donald J. Trump keeps adding new tax cuts to his list of campaign promises, and their projected costs keep piling up.Independent analyses suggest Mr. Trump’s plans could add close to $4 trillion over the next decade to America’s already fast-growing national debt, even after factoring in additional revenues from new taxes he wants to impose on imports. It is impossible to make a similar estimate for Vice President Kamala Harris, Mr. Trump’s Democratic opponent this fall. She has not laid out any tax or spending plans, or other economic policy proposals, with enough detail to estimate whether they would...

Kamala Harris’s running mate, stolen valor Tim Walz, once bragged about leaving his 87-year-old mother who had just undergone heart surgery alone in her home to fend for herself. The far-left Minnesota governor said during Covid he isolated and left his mother, who just had major surgery, alone in her home to fend for herself. “This is what we do in my family – my 87-year-old mother had heart surgery. We isolated her. Our goal was to bring her up here and live with us for a while. We can’t bring her. So she is alone. We drop groceries at...

Daily Readings from the USCCB“What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? Or what can one give in exchange for his life?” Matthew 16:26Would you like to “gain the whole world?” Many people daydream about becoming exceptionally rich and being able to purchase everything they ever wanted. Others dream of doing heroic acts that thrust them into the public spotlight and lead to public admiration. Still, others dream of having great power in this world and being a person of great importance. Though none of these are bad in and of themselves,...

Donald Trump’s supporters claimed Rod Stewart’s recent bout with strep throat is “karma” for mocking the former president’s complexion. The “Maggie May” singer took to Instagram Wednesday to announce that he was “absolutely gutted” to cancel his 200th Las Vegas residency show hours before he was due on stage. “I’m desperately sorry to miss this 200th show celebration,” Stewart, 79, wrote. “Most people can work with strep throat but obviously not me. I’m absolutely gutted. I’ve been looking forward to this concert for so long,” he continued. “My deepest regrets for any inconvenience this has caused.” While many fans wished...

When Y. J. Chichester Salant, a 27-year-old trans woman, went to an ENT doctor in Tel Aviv because of a serious upper respiratory infection, one of the first questions the doctor asked was about her “bottom surgery.” Salant, the health care coordinator at the Trans Center in Tel Aviv, was taken aback and told him that his question had no clinical relevance to her medical condition. She said that her experience illustrates the difficulties faced by transgender people seeking health care in Israel. “When ignorance, bias, or transphobia enters the picture,” Salant said, “going to a doctor can be a...
