A Voepass airlines plane has crashed near São Paulo, Brazil
First reports 70 on board
Sort of just fell from the sky

Strange engine sounds. Should be a 2X turboprop.
That is ugly.
What causes a plane to fall like that?
I’ve seen plenty of plane crash videos and none ever looked like that. I doubt many survived and I hear it hit homes as well.
It will be a high casualty count.
Too much weight toward the tail?
Was Rosie O'Donnell sitting back there?
Looks like a spin which would have begun as a stall.
Things needed for controlled flight:
Airspeed
Altitude
Attitude
He was lacking all three.
No survivors. Bad crash.
Flat spin probably due to improper loading of the aircraft resulting in an aft center of gravity. He probably stalled the aircraft and with the aft cg could not get the nose down and thus no airflow on the rudder. If this is what happened it was virtually unrecoverable.

Are there instruments that can tell the pilot before takeoff that the plane is improperly loaded?
Maybe repeated the Yeti Airlines pilot error? Same kind of plane, I think.
P Power to idle
A Ailerons to neutral
R Rudder full opposite rotation
E Elevators forward
seems like pretty much anything should be recoverable from that altitude without a severe mechanical failure.
He lost his forward speed or put his wings pointing too far up. And you ‘stall’ and fall to earth like a leaf unless you have altitude to recover.

I do not know. There have been accidents due to cargo breaking loose and sliding rearward and thus changing the cg.
Wow!
Video begins when ATR 72-500 is already in a left rotating flat spin with left wing down. Right engine looks to be operating but port engine appears to be barely rotating. Engine sound is not normal and sounds like one of the engine governors has failed. No high speed turbo prop sound. Appears to be spinning into the failed engine or prop. Need the flight path data. Pilot did not get the nose down fast enough to maintain normal flight after left engine or prop failure?
