Kamala Harris’s running mate, stolen valor Tim Walz, once bragged about leaving his 87-year-old mother who had just undergone heart surgery alone in her home to fend for herself. The far-left Minnesota governor said during Covid he isolated and left his mother, who just had major surgery, alone in her home to fend for herself. “This is what we do in my family – my 87-year-old mother had heart surgery. We isolated her. Our goal was to bring her up here and live with us for a while. We can’t bring her. So she is alone. We drop groceries at...

Others dream of doing heroic acts that thrust them into the public spotlight and lead to public admiration. Still, others dream of having great power in this world and being a person of great importance. Though none of these are bad in and of themselves,...

Donald Trump’s supporters claimed Rod Stewart’s recent bout with strep throat is “karma” for mocking the former president’s complexion. When Y. J. Chichester Salant, a 27-year-old trans woman, went to an ENT doctor in Tel Aviv because of a serious upper respiratory infection, one of the first questions the doctor asked was about her “bottom surgery.” Salant, the health care coordinator at the Trans Center in Tel Aviv, was taken aback and told him that his question had no clinical relevance to her medical condition. She said that her experience illustrates the difficulties faced by transgender people seeking health care in Israel. “When ignorance, bias, or transphobia enters the picture,” Salant said, “going to a doctor can be a...

(Aug. 9, 2024) — First, let us put on our thinking hat and do some simple grammatical analysis of the two terms ‘Citizen at Birth’ (“CAB”) and ‘natural born Citizen’ (“nbC”). The first term, “CAB”, tells the reader simply WHEN the person became a Citizen, i.e., at birth. The second term, “nbC”, tells the reader two things, i.e., WHEN the person became a Citizen, i.e., when born, and also HOW they became a Citizen, i.e., by what type of law the person became a Citizen –- Man-made laws, acts, treaties, amendments, Positive Law(s), or the Law(s) of Nature, Natural Law....

Walz's military record speaks for itself. Here are just a few of his harrowing tales of valor: 1. "So there I was in France, out-gunned and near death. My Thompson submachine gun had just run out of ammo and I knew I was about to die, so I accepted my fate and just started shooting at an approaching tank with a pistol, but then the Army Air Corps bombed the tank just in time. Then, I held Private Ryan close and said: ‘Earn this.'" 2. "In another battle, my helicopter was shot down over a war zone in some place...

Kamala Harris helped make California the crime-ridden dystopia it is today — and did nothing to change course when things got bad. When Rudy Giuliani became mayor of New York City in 1994, one of his top goals was reducing crime. This meant all crime, not just those that grab headlines but those at the pyramid’s base. He stated at the time: “Obviously murder and graffiti are two vastly different crimes. But they are part of the same continuum, and a climate that tolerates one is more likely to tolerate the other.” The theory behind Giuliani’s approach wasn’t novel. Dubbed the...

Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-N.J.) said Thursday that attacks on Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) over his military service reminded her of the infamous Swift Boat attacks against former Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) during his run for president in 2004. Sherrill told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins that she felt compelled to speak out about the military accusations against Walz, who served more than two decades in the Army National Guard, because they are “so incredibly offensive.” “It’s reminiscent of the Swift Boat bulls— that Senator Kerry faced in his election. We’re seeing the same type of people trying to reignite this same kind...

On Monday, I wrote about how Donald Trump continues to attack Gov. Brian Kemp (R-Ga.) with falsehoods and cheap shots at Kemp’s wife Marty. As someone who believes that Trump is our only hope for avoiding a long slide into leftwing authoritarianism but who also wholeheartedly supports Kemp and believes in his conservative leadership in Georgia, Trump’s attacks bother me.The things that Trump says about Kemp aren’t true, but far too many loyal Trump supporters spread these lies along with conspiracy theories that are even more egregiously false. I worry that it could cost Trump votes in Georgia; as Paula...

Back during her first run for the presidency in 2020 -- an effort that went so poorly her campaign didn’t even make it to the calendar year 2020, then-senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) said in a CNN Climate Crisis Town Hall that she was in favor of banning the practice of hydraulic fracturing, commonly known as “fracking.” There was, to quote her, “no question” she was “in favor of banning fracking.”Fast forward almost five years and in her second run for the White House, now-vice president Kamala Harris has said, at least via her campaign representatives, that she is no longer...
