Kamala and fracking
American Thinker ^ | 08/09/2024 | Tim Benson

Posted on 08/09/2024 8:40:44 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

Back during her first run for the presidency in 2020 -- an effort that went so poorly her campaign didn’t even make it to the calendar year 2020, then-senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) said in a CNN Climate Crisis Town Hall that she was in favor of banning the practice of hydraulic fracturing, commonly known as “fracking.” There was, to quote her, “no question” she was “in favor of banning fracking.”

Fast forward almost five years and in her second run for the White House, now-vice president Kamala Harris has said, at least via her campaign  representatives, that she is no longer in favor of banning the practice.

Why has this happened? What changed? How has Harris done a complete 180 on this issue? And how can we trust that what she is now saying is true, or if it’s just lip service she’s paying to get her through November 5 without losing the 19 critical electoral college votes of the swing state and fracking powerhouse that is the commonwealth of Pennsylvania?

It would be nice to get some clarity on this issue from her but, as of this writing one week deep into August, the candidate herself has not taken a single question from any member of the media on any issue, let alone one on fracking. More than a fortnight into her campaign, and we haven’t heard from her on literally anything at all.

Not in favor of fracking now because she wants to win PA. If elected, she’ll be against fracking again.

Between what her administration DID ( Biden and her ) and what they say they’ll do, believe what they DID.

Since becoming the probable (but not yet confirmed) nominee to be the Democrat candidate for the President of the United States, “Que mala” Harris has said NOTHING about any policy she may or may not espouse, as she is essentially muted unless it is inscribed on a teleprompter for her. And that is her one skill in this area, reading the script handed to her. The few times she has spoken without the teleprompter before her, she has reverted to her own word salad language.

Including the inappropriate laughter.

Latest in the ‘which is it’ campaign:

NO fracking or fracking..

Israeli embargo or NO Israeli embargo...

Govt CAN’T tell you what to do with your body(abortions) or govt CAN tell you what do with your body(masks/vaxxes/boosters)...

Indian(dot) arfimerican...

Which is it?

I am starting to think that Kamala Harris's cognitive health is an issue X ^ | 8:50 PM 8.5.24 | Mark Levin Posted on 8/9/2024, 7:11:23 AM by conservative98

I am starting to think that Kamala Harriss's cognitive health is an issue.

She can't complete sentences, is mostly incoherent, and her party/media/campaign are hiding her and treating her as if she is Joe Biden aka a veal calf. =======================================================================

Kamala Harris Isn’t Giving Interviews. Any Questions? The New York Times | Yahoo ^ | August 9, 2024 | by Michael M. Grynbaum (D-NYT)

The press has questions for Vice President Kamala Harris. She isn’t giving a whole lot of answers.

In the nearly three weeks since President Joe Biden withdrew his candidacy, catapulting Harris to the top of the Democratic ticket, the vice president has shown little eagerness to meet journalists in unscripted settings.

She has not granted an interview or held a news conference. On Thursday, after a rally in Michigan, she held her first “gaggle” with reporters covering her campaign.

It lasted 70 seconds. How a Marine enjoys life as our VP candidate!

JD Vance after physically walking up to Kamala Harris’ plane to ask why she’s hiding from reporters:

"Hopefully it's going to be my plane in a few months. I also thought you guys may get lonely, because the VP doesn't answer questions from reporters."

Hey Kamala, get out of J.D.’s plane!

Fracking began in PA when intrepid oil men put nitroglycerin down shafts to open up polls of oil. The practice has continued ever sense, but not withe same risk.

“It would be nice to get some clarity on this issue from her”

Here’s your clarity.

She’s lying.

She will say whatever she needs to say to win Pennsylvania and will then do whatever her hard-green masters tell her to do.

How do you get clarity if it’s a lie. You know damn well that money flows with their climate change....but the climate...it changes by the hand of God..as it always has since the beginning of time...and never by the hand of man.

This, along with all the other things she flip-flopped on since the ‘20 primary (Medicare for All, Green New Deal, eliminate of ICE, banning AR-15s) is what Trump and Vance need to be hammering Harris/Walz on, not name calling or the other bullshit about which REMF served where. The media will never, ever call her out on this and it needs to be front and center in every Trump rally and every Republican ad buy in the swing states for the next three months.

Anyone who doesn’t support fracking is an uninformed moron. To oil and gas, fracking is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Instead of abandoning old wells and drilling new ones, they can frack those old wells and bring them back to life, making more production than they ever did. I’ll never forget when Halliburton came in and fracked an old abandoned gas well on my place 20 years ago. They rolled in with an army of 18-wheelers full of equipment, and it was the reverse of the clown car at the circus. I don’t know how they got that many trucks on that platform. Before they started, they told me: “If we break anything, we’ll fix it.” But, they didn’t break anything. When they left 12 hours later, that old well was producing so much gas, they had to replace the feeder pipe going to the main line with one twice as big. To this day, it is still pumping gas. No earthquakes or tremors, and my deep water well 100 feet away was never affected.

Asking KammyHammy about Fracking is moot. You need to ask Barry, ValJar and the rest of the Junta. They are the ones you really have to worry about.
I’m going to send this report to the NY “Politicians” who demigod the issue.

Yep.

Fracking has been used since the 1960’s. This is just another attack on the oil/gas industry. I remember in the 1970’s when a dimrat congress started ranting against big oil and they were going to install a “windfall profits” tax on them.

Dems destroy American industries. This election cycle, they are targeting the oil/gas and the automobile industries.

Look at what they did to logging in the pacific northwest.
