Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said she isn’t calling for President Biden to step down when asked about calls from Democrats for the president to do so in the wake of his negatively-reviewed presidential debate performance. “I don’t know who’s doing that,” Pelosi said of the calls for Biden to step aside and make room for someone new to enter the race against former President Trump, according to MSNBC, in an audio clip played on anchor Ali Velshi’s show Saturday. “I’m not doing it,” Pelosi said in the clip. Biden’s debate performance, during which he had a raspy voice...

In the wake of Joe Biden's debate implosion, there's a lot of panic going on in the Democratic Party. CNN's John King encapsulated it on Thursday night: "Very aggressive panic," he termed it. In the immediate wake of the debate, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke with Ben Ferguson on their podcast, "The Verdict," about the debacle. As Rebecca Downs at our sister site Townhall reported: Cruz agreed with King that "Joe Biden did unbelievably badly, that the degree of dementia he is facing right now, it has escalated to a point that it is unrecognizable," adding "I think there are...

(See videos at article link) Democrats are in a panic -- Joe Biden could bring it all down! Early Saturday morning I was planning on continuing to produce a three-item essay for this week, focusing on the debate, the Supreme Court's Chevron ruling, and Rep. Luna's "Inherent Contempt" initiative, but a single tweet changed my mind. Democrats have a plan to steal the 2024 election At 2:36 PM yesterday, Barack Obama posted the following tweet on X, formerly TwitterDemocrats In Disarray By the conclusion of last Thursday's debate, Joe Biden's allies within the Democratic Party, including strategists and ordinary voters,...

New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd called on President Biden to abandon his re-election campaign following his poor debate showing on Thursday night, warning that deciding to run was ill-advised and made him no better than his adversary, former President Trump. “He’s being selfish. He’s putting himself ahead of the country. He’s surrounded by opportunistic enablers. He has created a reality distortion field where we’re told not to believe what we’ve plainly seen. His hubris is infuriating. He says he’s doing this for us, but he’s really doing it for himself,” she started the column. “I’m not talking about Donald...

Democrat strategist James Carville said it was “kind of weird” to see his name used in a fundraising message from the Biden campaign after he predicted President Joe Biden would not appear on the 2024 ticket. The Biden campaign sent out a fundraising message using Carville’s name, calling for Democrat voters to donate to the Biden-Harris campaign. While Carville admitted to the Washington Post that the message “didn’t bother” him as much as Bide’s performance at the presidential debate, he claimed he “never signed off on” it.

More than 50 cars were involved in a street takeover in downtown Los Angeles early Saturday as some went up in flames, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Video shows a car completely engulfed by a fire, sitting in the middle of an intersection as a thick black cloud of smoke rises from the vehicle. Other cars can be seen as they try to drive around the inferno. LAPD said several vehicles were impounded after authorities responded to the area near East 18th Street and Main Street, where participants intentionally set two of the cars on fire. Firefighters received...

Democrats are worried President Biden’s dismal debate performance could doom any slim chance the party has for holding its Senate majority by further depressing turnout in critical battleground states. Democrats were already in a tough electoral spot, with Republicans only needing Montana or Ohio — in addition to their guaranteed pickup in West Virginia — to take the upper chamber. Thursday’s debate debacle only makes the road for incumbents in red or purple states more treacherous. “Last night was a bad night for the president and it was not a good night for the Democratic Party writ large,” said John...

A rocket stage test firing by Chinese commercial company Space Pioneer ended in catastrophic failure and a dramatic explosion Sunday. Space Pioneer conducted what was intended to be a static-fire test of the first stage of its Tianlong-3 launch vehicle at a test facility in Gongyi country, Henan province, Sunday, June 30. Amateur footage captured by Gongyi citizens and posted on Chinese social media shows the nine-engine test stage igntiing and then, exceptionally, taking off. Hold-down clamps and other structures are typically used to securely keep stages in place. The stage is seen climbing into the sky before halting, apparently...

The mother of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray who was brutally murdered by two illegal migrants received a 'shock' phone call from former President Donald Trump only minutes before he took the stage to debate President Biden. Victoria Galvan - who is best friends with Jocelyn's mother Alexis Nungaray - shared how unexpected the call was and how much it meant to the heartbroken mom, whose daughter was strangled and found floating in a bayou only miles from their Houston home on June 16. 'He was like, "I'm actually about to come on for a debate" … He gave his condolences, and...

The rush of end-of-term decisions from the Supreme Court, not to mention last night’s presidential debate, gives me many more potential topics to write about than I could ever get to. How to choose? On the subject of the presidential debate, I doubt that I have anything to say that a hundred others have not said in the past 24 hours. So then, which of the latest crop of Supreme Court decisions is the most important? On that last question, my vote goes to Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo. This is the case that has rather emphatically overruled the 1984...

WASHINGTON — Conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett appeared to lose patience last week with the right-wing narrative that the Biden administration had unlawfully coerced social media companies to remove politically charged content. In authoring the Supreme Court’s ruling that threw out a lawsuit brought by Republican-led states and several disgruntled social media users, Barrett took aim at the flimsy nature of the claims, the lower courts that indulged them — and several of her conservative colleagues. While Barrett forensically pointed out how the plaintiffs had failed to substantiate their allegations that content moderation decisions were unlawfully influenced by the Biden...

Democrats don't believe the election comes down to this; nor should we. Democrats have a slogan this presidential election: “Democracy is at stake.” Or, they might have a slogan. They’re still running the numbers on it, and they’re not quite sure whether to go with it. While Biden’s “brain trust” is reportedly committed to that message, other Democrats aren’t so sure; apparently it doesn’t poll all that well. By debating the strategy, they’re making it clear that they don’t really believe it. Of course, treating it as a campaign tactic makes that obvious. If Democrats seriously believed Trump was a...

It would appear the Biden government doesn’t fear Americans nearly enough. “Where the people fear the government, you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty.” Attributed to John Basil Barnhill In early September of 2022, Joe Biden delivered his “Triumph of the Shill” speech, with two Marines standing at attention behind him against a blood red background. Gesturing angrily, he all but named half of Americans, those who believe in American greatness, enemies of the state. It was a familiar theme for the great uniter, and as it turns out, a theme his Administration has never...

The Supreme Court’s decision on Friday to discard the 40-year-old precedent established by Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council is a truly harsh blow against environmental protection and climate justice. By overruling the Chevron doctrine that required courts to defer to federal agencies when it came to implementing broadly written laws, the Supreme Court will make it much more difficult for the federal government to regulate pollution — including, but by no means limited to greenhouse gas emissions — among many other issues related to health, labor, consumer welfare, taxation, and on and on. I am profoundly upset at the...

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was shot in the arm Saturday night while trying to steal two cases of beer from a gas station convenience store. Jill Biden revealed that she comforted Joe after his disastrous debate performance as even she admitted it was 'on the minds' of their campaign donors. The First Lady has come under scrutiny in recent days amid growing fears over President Biden's age deterioration, with some speculating that she is a driving force behind his insistence of remaining in the 2024 race. At a fundraiser on Friday in New York City, Jill told supporters that her husband is 'not a young man', but said she only offered words of reassurance following his 90-minute debate ordeal. 'After last night's debate, he said,...
