Thanks to technological loopholes of the CD, bands included tons of Easter eggs on their albums.Just as audiences now linger in cinemas waiting for a surprise outtake after the credits roll, in the 90s music fans would let their CDs play to completion, vigilantly scanning for hidden tracks or interludes to reward their patience. No matter the medium, artists have always found a way to rebel against the confines of commercial music packaging. The trend famously started with The Beatles. A brief acoustic piece by Paul McCartney didn’t fit on Abbey Road and he ordered engineer Geoff Emerick to cut...

Well, it looks like Chris Matthews no longer feels that thrilling tingle running up his leg. After Biden’s disastrous debate performance, it’s more like Chris had something running down his leg. Matthews joined Bill Maher to discuss the debacle, and he didn’t mince words, declaring that Biden isn’t “smart enough” to “keep up” with President Trump. Bill Maher said he knew 90 seconds into the debate that it was game over for Joe and the election was lost. And pay close attention to Chris’s “senior” moment, or was it a Freudian slip, when he accidentally called Biden “Obama” during their...

This is the cringe moment Jill Biden congratulated husband Joe "like a child" after his debate horrorshow against Donald Trump. The elderly leader of the free world staggered and stumbled through his 90-minute clash with Trump, prompting calls by top Democrats that he should consider ending his re-election bid. But despite Biden's disastrous performance on CNN, the first lady still praised him for "answering all the questions" as he "did a great job". The US president, 81, seemed almost childlike as lively Jill, 73, complimented him at a rally yesterday night in Georgia."Joe, you did such a great job...

Howls of outrage erupted here over a second suspected sex crime involving a U.S. serviceman that was initially kept under wraps by the central government. “It is absolutely unforgivable that such an inhumane and despicable crime has again come to light immediately after we learned that a young girl was abducted and assaulted,” Okinawa Governor Denny Tamaki told reporters on June 28. Okinawa prefectural police said earlier in the day that Jamel Clayton, a 21-year-old U.S. Marine lance corporal, was arrested in May on suspicion of injuring a woman during an attempted rape. The suspect was indicted in June. Three...

Honduras still has a long way to go to dismantle the “narco-state” that grew under ex-president Juan Orlando Hernandez, jailed this week for smuggling a deluge of cocaine into the United States, experts said. Hernandez, 55, spent years in positions of power cozying up to kingpins from some of Latin America’s most notorious cartels, which placed proxies in state institutions while he pocketed millions of dollars in drug money.
