First lady Jill Biden’s ex-husband has joined the chorus of people slamming her for apparently encouraging President Biden to stay in the election after his disastrous debate performance. “The Dr. Jill Biden who I’ve seen on TV in the last five years is not the same person I married or that I recognize in any way,” Bill Stevenson, who was married to Jill from 1970 to 1975, told The Post Saturday. “She’s matriculated into a completely different woman.” Stevenson, 75, of Delaware, is a proud Trump supporter who has been vocal over the years about his bitterness with what he...

Mr Stewart lampooned MSNBC for refusing to show a “disturbing” image of Joe Biden being tied up on a pickup truck decal. “Just earlier this month, much of the media in the US had an absolute meltdown about an obviously doctored image – a meme basically – on the back of a pickup truck,” Ms Panahi said. “Can’t imagine why people have lost trust in the media – even Jon Stewart has lost faith.”

The Biden administration has promoted an official with a history of posting sexually provocative photos on social media, as well as incendiary tweets against police, Republicans, Israel and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Tyler Cherry was promoted last week to serve as an associate communications director at the White House after serving in a similar role at the U.S. Department of the Interior with Secretary Deb Haaland for three years, according to Politico. According to unearthed tweets Cherry has posted within the past decade, he has championed anti-Israel sentiment, attacked Republicans and likened police to "slave patrols." "Praying for...

When you see 'Biden Is Toast' in a Politico headline, you know things are really, really bad for Joe Biden. That line was part of a title of a story in that periodical about Biden's disastrous debate performance on Thursday which was originally published fifteen minutes before that event was even completed: "Dems freak out over Biden’s debate performance: ‘Biden is toast’."Lisa Kashinsky, Adam Cancryn, and Eugene Daniels, acting more like coroners providing a Biden campaign autopsy than as Politico reporters, had the sad task of laying out the brutal facts for the bereaved Democrats and their media allies.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor called the Supreme Court ruling in SEC v. Jarkesy "a power grab." She's right, but in the wrong way.The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that people whom the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) would like to levy civil penalties against for alleged fraud violations are entitled to a trial by jury. That decision, though consequential in isolation, will likely have effects that extend far beyond that one agency. At the heart of the ruling is George Jarkesy Jr., a hedge fund manager who oversaw the investment advising firm Patriot28, LLC. The SEC accused him and the company of...

WASHINGTON, June 28 (Reuters) - The Biden administration will expand deportation relief and work permits to an estimated 309,000 Haitians in the country already, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security said on Friday. The administration will expand access to the Temporary Protected Status program to Haitians through February 2026 due to violence and security issues in Haiti that limit access to safety, healthcare, food and water, the department said. About 264,000 Haitians in the U.S. were already covered by the program, according to the U.S. government. U.S. President Joe Biden, a Democrat seeking another term in Nov. 5 elections, has...

What will be the blockbuster movies of Summer 2024? Entertainment Weekly published a list at the beginning of May, which was helpful provided you eliminate mere summer releases (I Saw the TV Glow, Babes, Firebrand, Inside Out 2, The Watchers, Janet Planet, Despicable Me 4, The Instigators, Kinds of Kindness, Fly Me to the Moon, It Ends With Us, The Bikeriders, Blink Twice, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) and everything being released on streaming (Atlas, Hit Man, Ultraman: Rising, Trigger Warning, The Union, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, The Instigators, Jackpot, Appollo 13: Survival). Which leaves a much smaller group of big budget...

Her concurrence is a reminder that the application of criminal law should not be infected by personal animus toward any given defendant. The Supreme Court on Friday narrowed the interpretation of a federal criminal law under which many January 6 rioters have been charged, throwing hundreds of such cases into at least partial uncertainty. It was yet another 6–3 decision. But despite the immensely politically-charged nature of the case, it was also yet another time that the votes did not come down along exclusively ideological lines. The majority opinion was written by Chief Justice John Roberts and joined by Justices Clarence...

The Democratic Party is facing a potential crisis. Following Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump, concerns about his fitness to serve have intensified. The debate has left the party in a state of panic, with whispers of Biden stepping down becoming louder. It has always been the plan from the start, which is why they scheduled the debate for this year unusually early. However, it may already be too late to remove Joe Biden from the ballot. The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project is gearing up for a counter-fight should Democrats attempt to pull Biden off the top of...

Back there in the Stone Age of February, 2024, the New York Post headlined: Jill Biden and Dems committed elder abuse on Joe — now they must force him to step aside Among other things the Post Editorial Board wrote: As part of special counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Joe Biden, he reviewed interviews conducted by a ghostwriter with Biden after he left office. The former vice president was “painfully slow,” Hur’s report notes, with ” limited precision and recall.” This is in 2017 — three full years before he ran for president. What Hur has proven is that Joe...

A spate of decisions over the past two years by the Supreme Court has significantly impaired the Environmental Protection Agency’s authority to limit pollution in the air and water, regulate the use of toxic chemicals and reduce the greenhouse gasses that are heating the planet. This term, the court’s conservative supermajority handed down several rulings that chip away at the power of many federal agencies. But the environmental agency has been under particular fire, the result of a series of cases brought since 2022 by conservative activists who say that E.P.A. regulations have driven up costs for industries ranging from electric utilities...

Top advisers to Donald Trump are plotting an overhaul of the Republican Party platform that will dramatically slash its size and refocus the GOP around the former president’s agenda for a second term. A memo from Trump campaign managers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles dated Thursday criticized past platforms as too long and too heavily influenced by special interests and outside groups. A “clear, concise and easily digestible” platform will be easier for voters to understand and harder for political opponents to attack, they wrote. “Publishing an unnecessarily verbose treatise will provide more fuel for our opponent’s fire of misinformation...

Trust me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself. Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit. Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November. http://joebiden.com
