Oklahoma schools will be required to teach the Bible and the Ten Commandments to all grade school children. Effective immediately, Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters sent a memo to schools saying that grades five through 12 are required to refer to the Bible and the Ten Commandments for their “substantial influence on our nation’s founders and the foundational principles of our Constitution.” Walters said the new curriculum is to ensure that “historical understanding is there for every student in the state of Oklahoma.” “It’s crystal clear to us that in the Oklahoma academic standards under Title 70 on multiple...

In the lead-up to Thursday night's debate, the conventional wisdom was that Biden had to convince everyone - party bosses and influential pundits especially - that he wasn't too old and addled to be the Democrat nominee again. * * * But how does that happen, logistically? Can it? I researched the DNC's bylaws for the 2024 convention back in November and found that yes, it can, but it would most easily happen after the convention ends. I explained in this appearance on Dana Loesch's radio show:

***It was widely underreported that Communist China declared a People’s War against the United States in May of 2019 after the Trump Administration’s efforts to curb their theft of American intellectual property.***No serious person believes the 2020 election was fair. The signature anomaly, the middle of the night pause in counting in the six swing states—where President Trump was in the lead at the start of the pause, only to have the count resume with Joe Biden ahead—is all one needs to know. The election of 2020 was decided—most likely—by the illegal collection and production of absentee ballots by a...

Former House Speaker Pelosi said on Friday that former President Trump is "sicker" than she thought when asked about President Biden's debate performance. Pelosi initially ignored reporters' questions about Biden's debate performance, which has been heavily criticized by political analysts and Democratic commentators.

The readings for this Sunday focus on the theme of life, and God’s desire for it. They discuss God’s relationship with, and intentions for, the natural world: topics that resonate with Pope Francis’ newly-released encyclical on the environment. 1. The first reading poses some issues that have to be discussed: Reading 1: Wisdom 1:13-15; 2:23-24 God did not make death, nor does he rejoice in the destruction of the living. For he fashioned all things that they might have being; and the creatures of the world are wholesome, and there is not a destructive drug among them nor any domain...

Let’s start with the obvious: No one actually knows the best path forward for the Democratic Party in 2024, and all options in front of us are bad. ...and there is no obvious Plan B. ... It is hard to overstate the stakes of this election. Joe Biden surely understands them as well. Which is why I hope that, in the aftermath of this debate, he is doing some serious soul-searching with his advisers, his colleagues, and the person he seems to trust most, his wife Jill. The catastrophic debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump on...

A post-debate poll has found that a massive 68 percent majority of independent voters want Joe Biden to drop out of the presidential race. Just 32 percent of independents told the Daily Mail/JL Partners snap poll that they want him to remain in the race. According to the Daily Mail, “30 percent of people who voted for Biden in 2020 concluded that Trump won the debate.” “And the poll found that even among Biden 2020 voters some 41 percent said it was time to find a new nominee,” the report added.

The court’s decision in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, which overruled the 40-year-old Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council, won’t affect Americans’ lives in as stark and immediate a way as the 2022 decision overruling Roe v. Wade. But like Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, Loper Bright has the potential to fundamentally transform major aspects of the health, safety and well-being of most Americans. That’s especially true when it is viewed alongside some of the other major cases about agency power the court has handed down in recent terms — and indeed in recent days — that have stripped agencies...

The MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, the CNN contributor Van Jones and other pundits who have long supported the president are now urging him to drop out. Allies of President Biden have pushed against him after his debate performance. Joe Scarborough pursed his lips and adjusted his tie. It was 6 a.m. on Friday, seven and a half hours after a diminished President Biden had gingerly stepped off the debate stage, and the host of “Morning Joe” on MSNBC was about to deliver a painful message to viewers of television’s most reliable redoubt of Biden support. “I love Joe Biden,” Mr....

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore (D) reupped his support for President Biden’s reelection campaign Friday in the wake of Biden’s poor debate performance this week. “Not only do I know that he will be able to serve another 4 years … I’m excited about what we can actually get done as a state if I have a chance to continue partnering with the president for the next 4 years,” Moore said in an interview Friday evening with NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo.

The Supreme Court on Friday reduced the power of executive agencies by sweeping aside a longstanding legal precedent, endangering countless regulations and transferring power from the executive branch to Congress and the courts. The precedent, Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council, one of the most cited in American law, requires courts to defer to agencies’ reasonable interpretations of ambiguous statutes. There have been 70 Supreme Court decisions relying on Chevron, along with 17,000 in the lower courts. The decision is all but certain to prompt challenges to the actions of an array of federal agencies, including those regulating the environment, health care...

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is insisting Vice President Kamala Harris use the Twenty-Fifth Amendment to declare President Joe Biden incapable of performing his duties. Roy filed a resolution on Friday regarding the issue after Biden’s disastrous performance on Thursday evening when he and former President Donald Trump debated. The document stated: Calling on Vice President Kamala D. Harris to convene and mobilize the principal officers of the executive departments of the Cabinet to activate section 4 of the 25th Amendment to declare President Joseph R. Biden incapable of executing the duties of his office and to immediately exercise powers as...

WASHINGTON, DC — Following the disastrous Presidential debate, First Lady Jill Biden announced she will not drop out of the race despite growing calls from within the party to do so. "Over my husband's dead body!" Ms. Biden declared. "The nomination is MINE. You hear me, Joe Scarborough? MINE! Now get back to work, fools!" Many on the left have called for President Biden to step down after his mental decline was put on national display, however Jill Biden has forcefully declined. "Joe isn't going anywhere!" screamed Ms. Biden as a frightened Joe tried to appeal for help. "Shut up,...

Daily Readings from the USCCB“And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:17–19Saints Peter and Paul are often referred to as two of the great “Pillars of the Church.” They each played an incredibly essential role in the establishment of the early Church. And though each...

Rebecca Boggs Roberts opens Untold Power, her delightful new biography of First Lady Edith Bolling Galt Wilson, with a gripping scene that seems scripted for Hollywood. To set the stage: In the fall of 1919, after a grueling seven months in Europe negotiating the end of World War I, a bruising battle with the Senate over the treaty’s ratification, and a cross-country train tour to promote the League of Nations, President Woodrow Wilson suffered a series of strokes that left him partially paralyzed, intellectually diminished, and often incoherent. Remarkably, Edith Wilson—the president’s second wife, of just four years—along with...

On this date in 1612, the Scottish noble Robert Crichton, Lord Crichton of Sanquhar, swung for revenge served very cold. Sanquhar (alternatively, Sanquire) was a Scottish noble imported to the English court in the train of King James. Keeping up his swordsmanship in a practice bout with the fencing-master John Turner, Sanquhar had his eye put out by his opponent’s foil. While this injury was the source of the tragedy that ensued for both men, it is said — perhaps it’s just literary license — that it was the illustrious French king Henri IV who turned the situation deadly with...

Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will head off from La Guardia airport at noon to a reception in East Hampton, NY, hosted by hedge-fund billionaire Barry Rosentein and his wife Lizanne. The event kicks off at 2:45 at their sprawling 18-acre ocreanfront estate in the exclusive Long Island enclave.
