A group of students discovered something that's never been found in Santa Cruz County before. A fossil of the Jefferson's Ground Sloth, an animal that paleontologists had no idea was in this area of the state until a few curious kids unearthed it. “They were building a dam, looking for crawdads,” said Bryn Evans, a teacher who was with the students when they found the fossil. “They're just in the mud pulling things out and then one of them comes up and is like, 'This isn't a stick, this is a bone!'” What the Tara Redwood School students discovered was...

Obama Summed Up How To Ruin America In Under 1 Minute: Obama: "Understand, it's not necessary for people to believe this information in order to weaken democratic institutions. You just have to flood a country’s public square with enough raw sewage. You just have to raise enough questions, spread enough dirt, plant enough conspiracy theorizing, that citizens no longer know what to believe. Once they lose trust in their leaders, in mainstream media, in political institutions, in each other, in the possibility of truth, the game is won." Remember… This is coming from the guy...

Footage from the city of Pokrovsk in the DPR appeared on the Internet – a precise strike on the American Patriot complex. Anti-aircraft missiles detonate and a powerful explosion occurs. Two launchers, a radar and an escort vehicle were destroyed. A column of equipment was hit by a Russian Iskander missile right on the march, during the transfer of Patriot to a new position. This is the second American complex destroyed in a month. At the end of February, the Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system hit a launcher, a tractor and a transport-loading vehicle. Thus, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were...

Russia unleashed a massive aerial attack on Friday in what Ukrainian officials said was the largest and most destructive assault on its energy infrastructure since the start of the war. Over 150 missiles and drones were involved in the bombardment, striking targets across the Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian air force, knocking out power to swathes of the country and badly damaging its largest hydroelectric power station. It was the second largest aerial attack on Ukraine since Russia began its invasion two years ago, the air force said. The strikes forced emergency shut downs of electricity in at least seven...

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, here is a tale of financial shenanigans at the American Irish Historical Society, in which Trump-deranged New York Attorney General Letitia James is hoist by her own petard. It involves a grand old building on Fifth Avenue, an unpaid loan, a fading family dynasty, a James Joyce theatrical production which almost ended in fisticuffs, and hypocrisy from the AG as obvious as a glass of green beer. It all began when James Doyle, a wealthy Georgia businessman with a love of his Irish roots, joined the board of the nonprofit society, whose crown jewel is...

Tasmania’s Museum of Old and New Art (Mona) is facing a lawsuit for exhibiting an artist’s Ladies Lounge installation that only allows women to enter the installation. The installation by Kirsha Kaechele refers to a moment in Australian history before women won the right to drink in the nation’s pubs in 1965. Until then, women were either relegated to side rooms, where they were charged exorbitantly, or barred from these kinds of establishments altogether. Intended to point out the hypocrisy, the Mona installation offers an opulent retreat for female guests only with champagne served by male butlers. The exhibition also...

It is one thing to push pills that could lead to death because of overdose or abuse. It is another thing to push pills that are designed to kill. But that’s just what one young pop star is doing – a pop star with 36.7 million Instagram followers. I’m speaking of Olivia Rodrigo, and the pills she is pushing – more accurately, the pills she is giving away – are abortion-related pills. What could be deadlier than that? I knew nothing about Rodrigo or her mission until our eldest granddaughter Elianna, a 2023 graduate of Liberty University, sent me a...
