He did it again. Hunter Biden trolled the world. Only this time, there might be actual consequences for his family. Hunter Biden defied a congressional subpoena Wednesday, announcing his decision in a public statement that was obviously crafted and approved by his legal team and handlers. His strategy is to play the victim card, trying to use his addictions as an excuse for a lifetime of evading the law—and basic responsibilities—while bagging as much cash as possible off of his family name. This latest dramatic episode of the Hunter Biden Show is likely to yield contempt of Congress proceedings from...

How many people marry the first person they ever kiss or date or even have sex with? Not that many. The average age an American loses their virginity is 17 while the average age they get married is 27. Nonetheless, despite a decade in the dating pool, experiencing everything from one night stands to years of living with someone, when people finally take the plunge, half of all US marriages end up in divorce. There are lots of things that one might take from that observation, but the thing that is most compelling is that despite their best efforts, people...

Explanation: Massive stars in our Milky Way Galaxy live spectacular lives. Collapsing from vast cosmic clouds, their nuclear furnaces ignite and create heavy elements in their cores. After only a few million years for the most massive stars, the enriched material is blasted back into interstellar space where star formation can begin anew. The expanding debris cloud known as Cassiopeia A is an example of this final phase of the stellar life cycle. Light from the supernova explosion that created this remnant would have been first seen in planet Earth's sky about 350 years ago, although it took that light...

OK I went to his twitter page to see if he's explained his vote on FISA inclusion in the NDAA and not a peep. It's full of interviews etc. of him being against Free Speech on campuses What is he doing? He might not like certain speech but as a Member of Congress it's not up to him to decide. He's losing the plot with all this. John Cornyn is taking heat on the NDAA (rightly). I still haven't heard anything from Cruz. Perhaps someone from TX can find out what the situation is. He can't hide from this forever!

U.S. mortgage rates dropped below 7 percent for the first time since August, according to new data released Thursday by Freddie Mac. Mortgage rates have been falling steadily for the past seven weeks as inflation has eased, and the latest dip follows signs from the Fed on Wednesday that interest rates could come down next year. “Given inflation continues to decelerate and the Federal Reserve Board’s current expectations that they will lower the federal funds target rate next year, we likely will see a gradual thawing of the housing market in the new year,” said Sam Khater, Freddie Mac’s chief...

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is on trial in Washington, D.C., this week for defaming Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Wandrea "Shaye" Moss in the aftermath of the 2020 election. Giuliani, acting on behalf of former President Donald Trump, accused the mother and daughter of committing election fraud while the two were counting ballots on Election Day in Georgia's Fulton County. U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell in August awarded a default judgment to the two women, leaving this week's trial to determine the full scope of the damages and any penalties Giuliani will have to pay. Netflix’s Leave the World Behind has a white people problem. The Wi-fi is out but that’s not it. The Tesla is acting funny, but also nope. The movie can’t decide how much it hates white people. Sometimes, it’s a little, and sometimes, it’s a whole lot, like when Julia Roberts goes full Karen on the black family that shows up unannounced at the doorstep. Or when husband Ethan Hawke abandons a distraught Latina housekeeper on the roadside. Mostly, this apocalyptic thriller spends more than two hours trying to be artfully “ambiguous” about its Whiteness Studies specimens as the world comes...
