Chipotle customers caught on video throwing food, chairs at staff

Two women are wanted for assault in Maryland after throwing food and a chair at a worker inside a Chipotle restaurant, authorities said Wednesday.

The incident unfolded around 10 p.m. on Nov. 26 at the Chipotle in the 900 block of Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring, the Montgomery County Police Department said.

The female suspects were seen on surveillance video inside the restaurant while conversing with an employee at the counter.

The suspects then turned to walk away as the video cut to another angle showing the women speaking with a worker near the tables.

I witnessed a similar scene in a McDonald's about six weeks ago. A young, overweight black woman got mad about something, started shouting at the (Hispanic) employees, and challenged one of the female employees to a fight. At this point, a male employee asked the woman to leave, so she grabbed a bunch of straws and ketchup packets, threw them on the floor, and then threw a stack of trays on the floor.

About two weeks later, in an incident reminiscent of the "Whammy Burger" scene in "Falling Down," a young black man started shouting because they still weren't serving breakfast at 1 pm.
