"By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau, even regarding things to come" (Heb. 11:20). When you disobey God, you forfeit joy and blessing. Isaac is a fascinating Old Testament character. He was Abraham's long-awaited son, the covenant child, the child of promise. Yet aside from that, he was rather ordinary, passive, and quiet. Just over two chapters of Genesis center on him, whereas the other patriarchs (Abraham, Jacob, and Joseph) command about twelve chapters each. In the final analysis, Isaac believed God and submitted to His will. But overall, his spiritual character seems more reluctant than resolute. After a famine...

Joe Biden had only one event scheduled on Tuesday -- to discuss the "progress" his administration was making in regard to dealing with the massive fentanyl problem. As we reported earlier, part of the fentanyl problem is because Biden has failed to secure the border. He also didn't seem to understand China's involvement in the whole fentanyl process, lifting sanctions on a blacklisted forensics lab in exchange for Xi saying they would do more to track the flow of chemicals for fentanyl. As Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX) said, that was a bit like "thanking the arsonist." But Biden also made...

In a landmark decision overturning a lower courtâs verdict, New Yorkâs Supreme Court Appellate Division has ruled that the stateâs Commissioner of Health may issue quarantine orders to control COVID-19. Attorney Bobbie Anne Cox had filed lawsuit against Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York Department of Health in 2022 on behalf of a group of plaintiffs, who include New York State Senator George Borello. Cox told the Epoch Times last November that she was moved to take action after she saw that N.Y. government officials were unwilling to let go of the emergency powers they gained during the pandemic....

"China's coal consumption increased by more than 4% in 2022. Coal imports in August 2023 were the highest since 2015. China is ramping up its import from Russia and Australia and continues to increase imports from Indonesia. Despite introducing in 2021 a policy to curb emissions of carbon dioxide, Beijing has yet to announce any cap for steel production. Like steelmaking, the manufacturing of cement is energy intensive, with coal accounting for up to 85% of the energy used in the process. China consumes as much cement every two years as the U.S. did over the entire 20th century.

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemActs 16Paulâs Vision of the Man of Macedonia 6 Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. 7 When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to. 8 So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas. 9 During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, âCome over to Macedonia and help...

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he has lost count of assassination attempts heâs survived, comparing them to bouts of Covid. In an interview with the British tabloid The Sun, he said that heâs survived "no fewer" than five or six attempts on his life since Russia invaded Ukraine last year, but that each subsequent attempt makes it less intimidating. NBC News could not independently verify Zelenskyyâs claims about attempts on his life. âThe first one is very interesting, when it is the first time, and after that it is just like Covid,â Zelenskyy said. âFirst of all, people donât know...

I have had it. My past sense of frustration with the damaging policies of the left has moved to outrage and anger because Iâm finally seeing the results of the Big Picture in action. The movement from mere disagreement on key policies to the leftâs raw, full-throated imposition of their ideas using administrative actions rather than legislation has placed our society in danger of collapse and the real possibility of a major world war. A combination of evil psychopaths and craven, effete professors misled and miseducated the bulk of our citizenry, creating cadres of Leninâs âUseful Idiotsâ that can be...
