Amazon.com (AMZN.O) founder Jeff Bezos is expected to offload more of his stake in the company on Tuesday after selling shares worth about $240 million last week, CNBC reported, citing a source.
Bezos may sell as many as 8 million to 10 million shares, amounting to more than $1 billion, the report said.
A representative for Bezos did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment and neither did Amazon, whose shares were trading 2.5% lower on Tuesday.

There are times when I shop and need something I’ll go to Home Depot ... no luck ... go to Lowes ... no luck ... go to Walmart ... limited selection ... go to Amazon home page ... low and behold ... there it is along with “friends”. I don’t care for Bezo’s politics but I give him credit for building a formidable online shopping site. To me he’s no worse than the the ‘Social Media” billionaires who only produce words, make $$$$, and then use that $$$$ to buy elections for the DemocRATS and help destroy this Republic.
Yeah. Pathetic that some guy in his 20s can become a billionaire due to something as destructive as “social media.” 🙄
