For over a year, I have been writing and commenting on California’s unconstitutional Covid gag law for physicians and other medical professionals. The law allowing the revocation of licenses for “false or misleading information” on Covid-19 was a frontal attack on free speech. Nevertheless, many lawyers supported the law and Gov. Gavin Newsom signed it. Now Newsom has quietly signed the repeal of the law after it was headed for an almost certain rejection by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. All of the supporters of the law seem to be shrugging and moving on after...

The Democrats are making no effort to hide their totalitarian impulses. Certainly, Hillary Clinton isn’t. In an interview this week with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour. she suggested that Trump supporters were part of a cult and needed formal deprogramming. Whatever the reason, you know, make America great again was a bid for nostalgia to return to a place where people could be in charge of their lives, feel empowered, say what they want, insult whoever came in their way. And that was really attractive to a significant portion of the Republican base. So, it is like a cult. And somebody has...

Fox News‘ Tucker Carlson again criticized the Trump administration’s escalation of conflict with Iran, questioning why some of the same officials were trusting the “deep state” intelligence agencies that they had viewed with skepticism before. Soon after news broke that Donald Trump ordered an airstrike that killed Iran’s military leader Qasem Soleimani, Carlson has been questioning the rationale and wisdom for the move, seeing it as a prelude to a wider conflict. The Tucker Carlson Tonight host diverged from his own support of Trump, along with other Fox News hosts who have backed the president’s action wholeheartedly. On a Monday...

(snip) The segment explains how young Palestinians have banded together to call American voters at random asking them to vote for Obama. “It all started at the time of the US primaries,” says one of pro-Obama Palestinian organizers. “After studying Obama’s electro campaign manifesto I thought this is a man that’s capable of change inside of America. As for potential change in the Middle East, he can also do that if he can bring peace to the area. ATLANTA -- If you’d been paying attention to the American League Wild Card Series in Minnesota last week, there was likely a feeling of déjà vu when you saw Phillies manager Rob Thomson pacing out to the mound in the fourth inning of Game 1 of the National League Division Series on Saturday night at Truist Park.
