Due process provided by the U.S. Constitution and federal law allows Trump’s legal team not only to the discovery the government provides, but to any and all information, document, witness within the government as a whole. The game we’re playing in this thread is you’re Trump’s lawyer and you get to subpoena anyone in government either previously or currently employed, and/or any document. To play the game:1.) State the person’s name or the document that you would subpoena.2.) State the reason you want that person or document.I’ll kick it off in post #1. Have fun. Be positive. Win.

Aug. 1 (UPI) -- A California company parlayed its water recycling expertise into the creation of a beer made from a San Francisco residential building's wastewater. Epic Cleantec, a San Francisco-based water treatment company, teamed with Devil's Canyon Brewing Co. to create Epic OneWater Brew, a Kölsch-style ale made using recycled water from showers, sinks and washing machines in Fifteen Fifty, a 40-story luxury apartment building. "Buildings globally use 14% of all potable water," Aaron Tartakovsky, CEO and co-founder of Epic Cleantec, told CNN. "Almost no buildings reuse that water -- that's what we're trying to change." The beer is...

Conservative leaders banded together to support President Trump after his third indictment and questioned the timing due to progress in the Biden family crimes investigation. News broke Tuesday that President Trump is now facing a third indictment which includes four charges regarding his questioning of the 2020 election results, per RSBN. Several America First Republicans quickly came to his defense. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., wrote on “X,” formerly known as “Twitter,” that “The indictment against Trump is total garbage.” Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., posted a photo of herself standing with President Trump with the hashtag #StandWithTrump. Lawmakers from all...

Special Counsel Jack Smith accused former President Donald Trump of causing the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot through his “lies” about the 2020 presidential election. To that end, he indicted Trump on Tuesday on four federal counts — one of which carries a potential death penalty. But the indictment itself offers nothing new; it reads like the report of the January 6 Committee, or the second impeachment resolution against Trump. It is barred, therefore, by the Constitution’s Double Jeopardy Clause. The Double Jeopardy Clause, contained within the Fifth Amendment, prevents any person from being tried twice in a federal court...

When President Joe Biden sat down with a podcaster who focuses on mental health, he probably wasn’t intending to be a case study. But that’s what happened with an interview published to YouTube on Monday, where the president fielded softball questions from British podcaster Jay Shetty. And made himself look worse than even his worst critics would have expected. During the interview, Biden repeated a by-now thoroughly debunked story about a supposed encounter with an Amtrak conductor who supposedly kept track of the number of miles Biden had traveled by train. (As a senator representing Delaware, Biden used Amtrak for...

Can anyone remind me why Donald Trump was impeached the first time? I thought it was because he asked a question about a potential opposing candidate, and that doing so was considered interfering in the electoral process. Wasn’t that entire act of Congressional partisan division based on one whistleblower who heard from his brother who heard from someone else, who heard half a phone conversation? Fast forward to today…. there are almost three dozen whistleblowers with direct, firsthand knowledge of the DOJ, FBI, and Biden admin’s wrongdoing. Joe Biden’s son kept a laptop with child porn, gun porn, emails detailing...

The Food and Drug Administration could authorize Pfizer's updated Covid boosters by the end of August, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said during an investor call Tuesday. The drugmaker asked the FDA in June to authorize an updated version of its Covid booster that is designed to target the XBB.1.5 subvariant, a coronavirus strain that began circulating widely last winter. Moderna made a similar request that same month. The requests came days after the FDA advised the drugmakers to update the shots to target XBB.1.5 ahead of a fall Covid booster campaign.

After FR searching, found there were absolutely no articles (title/keywords) on PEADs. I thought there should be. From the article: They have asked to see this administration’s Presidential Emergency Action Documents, or PEADs. The little-known, classified documents are essentially planning papers. The documents don’t give a president authority beyond what’s in the Constitution. But they outline what powers a president believes that the Constitution gives him to deal with national emergencies. The senators think the documents would provide them a window into how this White House interprets presidential emergency powers.

Jack Smith is known as a legal hitman who has lost several high-profile cases at the Supreme Court. Of all the people Attorney General Merrick Garland could choose from, he chose this man. Regional electricity providers tasked with keeping America’s lights on warned Tuesday that the Biden administration must delay the retirement of fossil fuel power plants to give renewables time to catch up — or else risk major energy shortfalls. They said grid reliability would be jeopardized by quickly transitioning electricity use from coal and natural gas to green alternatives such as wind and solar. The transmission groups, which collectively deliver power from energy sources to tens of millions of homes in dozens of states, told reporters that extreme heat conditions this summer underscore the need to slow the closures of power...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the...

A former Boston high school principal is charged with misusing nearly $40,000 in school funds for personal use, including two luxurious all-inclusive vacation trips to Barbados. Naia Wilson, who served as New Mission High School’s headmaster for 13 years, admitted to authorities she committed wire fraud totaling approximately $38,806 in the elaborate scheme, according to a DOJ press release on Tuesday. The 60-year-old educator allegedly started requesting checks from the school’s external fiscal agent account to be issued under other individuals’ names from September 2006 until May 2019.

Gas prices have quietly been on the rise over the summer as President Joe Biden and his administration have touted the merits of his “Bidenomics” agenda. U.S. oil prices jumped by nearly 4% last week, and the per-gallon price at the pump hit a national average of $3.75 Monday, the highest recorded average since November 2022, according to AAA and the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Continued increases may pose a new headache for Biden, who is promoting the “Bidenomics” agenda ahead of his 2024 run for reelection. Global oil prices are up 16% since late June, and they have increased...

Polling suggests most Democrats, Republicans and independents stand against Biden on regulating the items. President Joe Biden is facing increasing opposition for his ongoing crusade against popular household items. As of August 1, traditional incandescent light bulbs became the newest on the regulatory chopping block, effectively outlawing them nationwide. Under new Energy Department efficiency standards, bulbs manufactured and sold now must meet the “minimum energy-efficiency standard” of 45 lumens per watt, giving rise to LED bulbs that some researchers have suggested can cause health complications. Biden’s light bulb ban joins the list of growing home items the President has fixated...
