Although it's reported the world is going through a transition away from fossil fuels to so-called 'green energy,' the data doesn’t support it. The use of coal in China has exploded thereby making overall coal consumption increase. As much as it’s reported that the world is going through a transition away from fossil fuels to wind and solar energy, the data doesn’t support it. The International Energy Agency released its 2023 Coal Market Update on Thursday, which shows that global coal consumption in 2022 rose by 3.3% to a record 8.3 billion tons. While the use of coal in European...

Liz Wheeler did ask Vivek about the 2020 election. Here was his response “I have personally not seen evidence of widespread voter fraud of the kind that you usually get with the stolen election narrative” —about 5 min mark (below link) . And when Liz asked Vivek if he would reinstate President Trump’s ban on transgenders in the military, Vivek said no. (above link)

A cop pulls you over for a minor traffic violation. After giving you a warning or a ticket, he says, "Drive safe!" and starts walking away. But he immediately turns around and walks toward your car again, saying, "Hey, can I ask you something?"That maneuver, known as the "Kansas Two-Step," is aimed at evading the Fourth Amendment's constraints on searches and seizures. Police are not supposed to continue detaining you after the ostensible purpose of the stop has been accomplished unless they reasonably suspect you are involved in criminal activity. The two-step is designed to extend the encounter by making...

That the F-35 Lightning II has been prohibited from flying anywhere near lightning is ironic. That the F-35 has been under development since 1994 and that the Pentagon “doesn’t have a path forward” to fix the F-35 is unforgivable. That a plane that’s supposed to be the foundation of American air supremacy has an Achilles heel so easily exploitable is a glaring example of how our military procurement system wastes taxpayer dollars while failing to provide the weapon systems needed to meet our national security needs.Yes, the F-35, the aging “wunder plane” that the U.S. Air Force and Lockheed Martin have...

If it hadn’t been for a fender bender on Interstate 75 near Chattanooga, Tennessee, Tuesday morning, most folks wouldn’t know that Gov. Ron DeSantis was using state government vehicles for his 2024 run for president. But finding out who’s paying for it is nearly impossible thanks to a new law passed by the Legislature to protect the governor’s travel records from public view. “The legislature has enabled him to hide his travel records so we don’t know and have no way to hold him accountable if he is using state resources in his campaign or if that is even the...

“Misinformation” is an elastic term. It can cover anything from intentional falsehoods to incorrect information to contested claims to unverified claims. But it’s hard to argue that it covers things known to be truthful. Now I am, to say the least, not a fan of any efforts to suppress “misinformation” because it empowers some authority somewhere to impose a standard of what is true and what is not, and doing so is dangerous in itself. While I would agree that in a perfect world everything we read, hear, and speak would be entirely true and completely in context, the reality is that...

New Hampshire Republican Governor Chris Sununu has an interesting take on the 2024 presidential race. He shared it while being interviewed by CNN’s Poppy Harlow on Thursday. Sununu predicted that neither Biden nor Donald Trump will be the nominee for president in November 2024.Poppy Harlow was shocked and could only say, “Wow, wow!” It was a pretty bold statement on early morning television this far out from the election. Sununu has made it crystal clear that he does not support Donald Trump. He was considered a potential candidate in the GOP presidential primary but he decided to sit this one...

Parents have raised concerns over a transgender pool official using the women's changing room at the same time as young girls during a teenage swimming competition. Anne Coombes, who last week blasted a hotel spa for not giving her a key to a female changing room, was volunteering at the British Summer Championships which was held at the Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield. Parents complained that both they and their daughters felt 'uncomfortable' as Ms Coombes, a 65-year-old trans woman, used the female changing rooms as a walkthrough during the competition which finished yesterday. The outcry from parents...

A 68-year-old woman was fired from her job at Lowe’s because she tried to stop shoplifters from stealing merchandise. She pursued them outside the store, which is against company policy. She was struck in the face three times by one of the thieves, leaving her with her right eye blackened and swollen. Instead of being made Employee of the Month and thanked for her diligence on behalf of the company, she was fired. The shoplifting incident happened in Rincon, Georgia on June 25. Three suspects stole about $2,100 worth of merchandise. She left the store and grabbed the shopping cart...

Bud Light's flatlining reputation has seen the once-favorite beer in America banished entirely from a bar in Buffalo, New York - because 'no one' is buying it. Hilarious footage captured the moment the watering hole gave up with the brand, as a bartender untwisted the formerly iconic blue logo tap and replaced it with Miller Lite. 'My local bar finally gave up and is removing Bud Light completely from the bar permanently,' said YouTube personality and podcaster Daniel Keem, who posted the video to social media. The clip, which has been viewed almost nine million times in two days, sees...

Most of us drive cars or small trucks or motorcycles. To enjoy this privilege, we must do numerous things, some of which cost money. We need to be of a responsible age, get training and earn a license. We also must register our vehicles with their serial numbers and display license plates that identify us. Why? Because motor vehicles are inherently dangerous and a major cause of death and injury. Accordingly, certain restrictions are deemed necessary to minimize harm. The restrictions include prohibiting driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and enforcement of applicable laws have dramatically reduced death...

It’s hard to believe this actually happened. Oakland is a far left city full of far left elected officials. Yesterday the head of the Oakland NAACP, along with the Bishop of the Acts Full Gospel Church, released a letter blasting the city’s progressive politics and singling out the county’s progressive DA. The letter called for a state of emergency to deal with rising crime. This letter is so good I’m tempted to include all of it but here’s a portion of it.Oakland residents are sick and tired of our intolerable public safety crisis that overwhelmingly impacts minority communities. Murders, shootings,...

It appears the battle over Florida’s black history curriculum has entered into a new phase. A fiery debate was ignited over parts of the state’s educational standards on chattel slavery. Now, the discussion has continued to rage on the airwaves and interwebs. The debate centers on a line in Florida’s standards which reads: “Instruction includes how slaves developed skills which, in some cases, could be applied for their personal benefit.”Democrats in Congress are now taking a questionable step in response to Florida’s curriculum. The Congressional Black Caucus is now calling on the Biden administration to use federal power to possibly compel...

Most Americans didn’t watch the Congressional UFO hearings. Like me, they were busy doing important stuff – like anything else. It’s not that I am completely disinterested I just think a congressional hearing on the subject is like watching a sci-fi movie. You can get into the drama of it all, but at the end of the day, it was just a lot of loud noises and not a lot of substance. One of the guys who testified had Peter Strzok eyes. Wild eyes. It looked like the guy had been dropped off at Capitol Hill after being probed by an...

I don’t think I believed that Joe Biden had any shame, given the history that I’ve seen, particularly over the last few years. But it turns out that he can be shamed, after all. At least when it comes to Navy Roberts, his grandchild by his son Hunter and Lunden Roberts.Biden has received a lot of criticism for failing to acknowledge the four-year-old, particularly when he’s always talking about his other grandchildren, even emphatically noting he has “six” grandchildren (not seven). He was chastised by liberal media over it, including in an article in the New York Times by Maureen Dowd,...

Ukrainian artillery crews have been firing rockets made in North Korea against Russian positions, turning Pyongyang’s munitions against the invasion forces of its ally President Vladimir Putin. The North Korean arms, whose use by Ukraine has not been previously reported, were shown to the Financial Times by troops operating Soviet-era Grad multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) near the devastated city of Bakhmut. The origins of Ukraine’s armoury highlight how Europe’s biggest land conflict since the second world war has become a mixed-up cauldron for generations of the world’s military equipment, ranging from ageing Soviet kit to modern precision weapons.
