WEST MIAMI, Fla. – A man walked into a West Miami grocery store and stuffed his backpack to the brim with fresh salami and other products — and was not about to let an employee stop him from making off with the meat. Police said they’re now looking for the suspect caught on camera in the July 3 robbery. The carnivorous caper happened at the Sabor Tropical Supermarket, located at 6190 SW Eighth St., near 62nd Avenue. The video shows the suspect filling his backpack with about $400 in meat products, mostly salami, according to the store’s manager. A store...

WrestleCon reversed its decision to invite WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner to its showcase next month as the pro wrestling world focuses its attention on SummerSlam in Detroit. The wrestling convention initially decided to reinvite Steiner to its show months after Steiner was accused of using "hateful phrases" toward transgender female pro wrestler Gisele Shaw. WrestleCon owner Michael Bochicchio made the reversal Sunday and explained that Steiner apologized after the incident and that he felt like the former wrestler "learned a lot from his huge mistake." WrestleCon backtracked on its invitation. "When we allowed Rick Steiner to return to...

Italian beauty pageant Miss Italy has banned biological males from entering its competition. Patrizia Mirigliani, who oversees the nation’s beauty pageant, said “only women since birth” are welcome to compete while she is in charge of the event. Mirigliani told Radio Cusano in a recent interview that there will be no trans at Miss Italy, the most popular beauty contest in the country, and that any beauty competitions that allow biological male competitors only do because they want to create media buzz. “Lately, beauty contests have been trying to make the news by also using strategies that I think are...

Explanation: It does what? No one knew that 2,000 years ago, the technology existed to build such a device. The Antikythera mechanism, pictured, is now widely regarded as the first computer. Found at the bottom of the sea aboard a decaying Greek ship, its complexity prompted decades of study, and even today some of its functions likely remain unknown. X-ray images of the device, however, have confirmed that a main function of its numerous clock-like wheels and gears is to create a portable, hand-cranked, Earth-centered, orrery of the sky, predicting future star and planet locations as well as lunar and...

Well, as the old joke about lawyers puts it, “It’s a good start.” Kevin Haggerty at BizPac Review writes:Texas’s largest school district aimed to balance the scales amid worsening student enrollment with tough news for hundreds of administrators: “…we’re cutting some of that bloat.” At the beginning of June, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) took dramatic steps to address a number of problems in the Houston Independent School District (HISD), including the appointment of a new superintendent, Mike Miles. Thursday, he announced his plan to reform the district for the benefit of students with the issuance of 672 pink slips....

Governor Phil Murphy (D-NJ) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that Republican attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris are “offensive” because she is an “icon.” Anchor Margaret Brennan asked, “Let’s go national here. Nikki Haley, in particular, has focused on the Vice President Kamala Harris and a lot of her rhetoric and she’s done it as a way pointing to President Biden’s age. The RNC is posting frequently clips from her speeches, flubs and they’re really taking aim at her. Why have Republicans calculated it is a good strategy and that the vice president makes Democrats vulnerable?”

Former Vice President Pence, a 2024 Republican presidential candidate, said Sunday President Biden has done a “terrible job” explaining America’s interest in Ukraine.“I know he said we’re there as long as it takes, but, frankly, it shouldn’t take that long,” Pence told CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union.” “This administration has been, not surprisingly, dragging their feet on providing military support from early on. They cut off the military aid that we had been providing to Ukraine under the Trump/Pence administration in the early going.”Biden said earlier this month that the United States would “not waver,” on support...

Let’s see how many old-timey words for “nonsense” I can squeeze into one article about 56 years of climate change balderdash. Soap-dodging prairie fairies have been ringing the Chicken Little climate klaxon for at least five decades. That means we are celebrating more than 50 years of “the sky is falling” horsefeathers. Every climate gloomster has one thing in common: when it comes to their grim predictions for the planet, they’re all batting zero. A lot of them also seem to ignore actual climate-related emergencies, like the ongoing train derailment trauma in East Palestine, Ohio, where residents suffered vomiting, rashes,...

ST. PETERSBURG, July 23./TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has said he is "starting to get tense with the Wagner group because they want to march on Warsaw". "Maybe I shouldn't say it, but I will. The Wagner group has started to stress us: 'We want to go to the West. Let us go.' I said, why do you want to go to the West? 'Well to go on a tour to Warsaw, to Rzezow'," Lukashenko said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin...

It turns out all of the millions of dollars worth of arms weapons the Biden Administration is sending to Ukraine to fight its ongoing war with Russia are ending up in the hands of criminal gangs. The U.S. Defense Department’s inspector general report found a lack of accountability in maintaining the equipment it sends to Ukraine. According to the 19-page report by the Pentagon’s Office of Inspector General through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), a group posing as humanitarian aid workers worked to obtain a hoard of U.S.-provided bulletproof vests. “In late June 2022, the SBU disrupted a group...

While on the campaign trail back in 2019, then-candidate Joe Biden was asked about his family’s corrupt business dealings by an Iowa farmer —and Joe blasted him for it. Advertisement Biden called the farmer “fat,” “too old,” and challenged him to a push-ups contest. The farmer addresses Burisma and accuses Biden of selling access. “No one has ever said that…you said I set up my son to work at an oil company!” an enraged Biden yells. Watch Joe rage out above.

VIDEOIn this video I show you why I consider Picanha to be the KING of all BBQ steaks. You might have eaten Picanha at Brazilian Steakhouses but as you can see, you can also prepare it at home with AMAZING results. One important detail is that when you sear your steaks, be sure to keep the meat only over the charcoal with the fat caps over the side with no charcoal below. This is because you want to prevent flareups from the burning the steak. As far as the fat caps, I sear them after both sides of the steaks...

Across other videos I've often hinted at the Republic of Korea as something of a military outlier. A major power that, at a time that other forces are battling a shortage of artillery, manpower or heavy equipment - still had all of the above at its disposal in serious quantities. Because whereas many other nations in places like Europe embraced the peace dividend of the 1990s, the ROK's strategic context remained complex and threatening - with North Korea's massive conventional (and now nuclear) arsenal constantly ready to resume a war that never officially ended. The ROK's defence strategy is a...

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Sunday that Ukraine has already retaken about 50 percent of the territory that Russia initially seized, stressing that Kyiv’s counteroffensive is still in its “relatively early days.” “In terms of what Russia sought to achieve, what [Russian President Vladimir] Putin sought to achieve, they’ve already failed. They’ve already lost. The objective was to erase Ukraine from the map, to eliminate its independence, its sovereignty, to subsume it into Russia. That failed a long time ago,” Blinken told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria in an interview on “GPS.”
