With the mainstream media and Political Pundit World busy essentially declaring Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ 2024 presidential campaign over not even two months after he formally announced, what’s an excitable MSNBC host to do? Tell us who the left really fears, that’s what. As RedState has previously reported, in their own not-so-unique but nevertheless illuminating way, members of the press, their allies on the left, as well as the truuuuue conservatives at the Lincoln Project, have been busy bees over the last year and a half or so telling us how DeSantis is “worse than Trump” because DeSantis in their...

I am anxiously waiting for the US inflation report tomorrow, so I am just looking at the US Treasury yield curve, mortgage rates and cryptos today. The US Treasury 10Y-2Y yield curve stumbled (just like Biden and Bidenomics) to -91.166 basis points as the turnaround in M2 Money growth has stalled. Bankrate’s 30Y mortgage rate is up to 7.37%, that is UP 156% under Bidenomics. Bitcoin is down today. At least Solana is up. Since November 3, 2022, the US Dollar Index is DOWN -9.68%, Gold is UP 18.55% and Bitcoin (Elizabeth Warren’s latest obsession) is UP 51.11%.

Long before Anthony Fauci, Ralph Baric, Peter Daszak of EcoHealth Alliance and the "Bat Lady" Shi Zhengli were in the Covid 19 news, Tong Zeng, a Chinese human rights activist (who was famous for asking for World War II reparations from Japan), suggested, in effect, that SARS 2003 was a laboratory creation that was genetically targeted at Han people. This was in his 2003 book "The last line of defense: the Chinese gene loss". "Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts", declared the late U.S. Senator from New York, Daniel Patrick Moynihan. But peoples' beliefs...

A new report from the House Judiciary Committee indicates that an effort against “Russian disinformation” on social media platforms, spearheaded by the FBI and Ukrainian intelligence officials, resulted in the censorship of Americans’ accounts. In one case, the FBI and Ukrainian intelligence effort flagged an account run by the U.S. State Department for censorship, but it was ultimately not taken down. The report was obtained by CNN and is based on subpoenas from the subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, the investigations of which have already exposed key details about the government’s online censorship machine.

ATLANTA – A Democratic state representative who was criticized by fellow Democrats for voting with Republicans during this year’s General Assembly session has gone over to the GOP. Rep. Mesha Mainor of Atlanta announced Tuesday that she is turning Republican, adding to the GOP’s House majority. Mainor voted with the Republicans on several key pieces of legislation this year, most notably her vote in favor of a controversial school voucher bill. Despite her support, the measure failed to pass when a number of rural Republicans opposed it, citing a lack of private-school alternatives in their areas. On Tuesday, Mainor said...

The passengers that died on the Titan submersible would have been aware of the impending catastrophe for a minute before the implosion, an expert has said. Spanish submarine expert José Luis Martín suggested the submersible lost stability due to an electrical failure that left it without propulsion, causing it to fall toward the seabed 'like an arrow vertically' with its porthole facing down. 'The Titan changed position and fell like an arrow vertically, because the 400 kilos of passengers that were in the porthole compromised the submarine. They all rushed and crowded on top of each other,' Martín added. 'Imagine...

9 The Passion Of The Christ 2004 Public perception of this movie wasn’t helped by Mel Gibson’s overt anti-Semitism, but The Passion of the Christ clearly depicts the Jewish people as the cause of Jesus Christ’s death, an unfortunate misconception that has resulted in an unknown (but certainly extremely high) number of Jewish deaths over the years.

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) announced a $20 million campaign Tuesday to protect Californians from extreme heat, just as the state’s southern residents were bracing for an extended spell of scalding temperatures. Heat Ready CA, a statewide multi-ethnic education initiative, provides planning information, emergency resources and strategies for staying safer during periods of intense heat, which the governor’s office described as “the deadliest form of climate-driven extreme weather.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) heaped criticism on Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) on Tuesday for saying a night earlier that the definition of “white nationalist” comes down to one’s “opinion.” “The Senator from Alabama is wrong, wrong, wrong,” Schumer said Tuesday. “The definition of white nationalism is not a matter of opinion.” “For the Senator from Alabama to obscure the racist nature of white nationalism is indeed very, very dangerous,” Schumer continued. “He is fanning the flames of bigotry and intolerance.”

The New Democratic Coalition, which says it has a 98-House member bloc, is ramping up pressure on Speaker Kevin McCarthy to reject hardliners in his party and instead work with Republicans and Democrats to pass its annual defense legislation in a timely manner. “Speaker McCarthy must choose between caving to the most extreme elements of his party that seek to compromise our national defense or working with sensible lawmakers to support all of our troops,” New Democrat Coalition Chairs jointly announced Tuesday. The urge to pursue a bipartisan path comes as leadership must navigate right-wing lawmakers pushing for a slew...

Another insurer is leaving Florida, where homeowners are paying more than ever for insurance, despite the state’s attempt to shore up the wobbling market. Tuesday, Farmers Insurance informed the state it was dropping home, auto and umbrella policies across Florida, potentially affecting tens of thousands of people. It’s the fourth company to leave the Florida market in the last year — most citing rising risks from hurricanes. Farmers, a large company with a national presence, also has reduced new business in California, citing extreme weather and wild fire threats. “This business decision was necessary to effectively manage risk exposure,” the...
