A Virginia pastor tries to turn the story of Zacchaeus into support for ethnic prejudice in college admissions (i.e. affirmative action). Dwight Riddick, Sr., of Gethsemane Baptist Church says the wealthy tax collector was “oppressed” and a “second-class citizen” because of his height. “Jesus saw Zacchaeus and he levels of the playing field. Jesus institutes an affirmative action program.” This past week, the Supreme Court ruled that affirmative action was unconstitutional in permitting colleges and universities to take into consideration race when it comes to their admissions standards. This was and is a major blow in America, a country that...

The Biden regime is doing its best to ruin the United States’ good name on the world stage. Biden has opened the border, flooded the US with millions of illegals, destroyed the US energy sector, blown up inflation, jailed political prisoners, indicted the top opposition candidate, cracked down on First Amendment rights, surrendered to the Taliban, armed the barbarians with 80 billion dollars in US equipment, pushed the world to the brink of World War III, and propped up an imbecile with dementia as leader of the free world. The Biden administration recently decided to send thousands of cluster bombs to...

Governments’ use of the pandemic to claim sweeping new emergency powers has had destructive effects.. Long before Covid struck, economists detected a deadly pattern in the impact of natural disasters: if the executive branch of government used the emergency to claim sweeping new powers over the citizenry, more people died than would have if government powers had remained constrained. It’s now clear that the Covid pandemic is the deadliest confirmation yet of that pattern. Governments around the world seized unprecedented powers during the pandemic. The result was an unprecedented disaster, as recently demonstrated by two exhaustive analyses of the lockdowns’...

Bidenomics, the massive Federal spending spree that helped drive inflation to 40 year highs, is the most top-down Soviet-style command economy model imaginable. As The Fed battles Bidenflation, the 30-year mortgage rate has now risen to 7.31%, a far cry from 2.88% when Biden was installed as President. That is a 154% increase in the 30-year mortgage rate under Bidenomics. The architect of Bidenflation, Snow Biden.

A San Francisco woman visiting an Emerald Bay waterfall fell to her death July 4, Tahoe officials said. Around 2:45 p.m., Azim slipped and fell at the lower Eagle Falls. “The female was later located in a pool of water near the Vikingsholm walking path, where she was confirmed deceased,” the spokesperson said. “No foul play is suspected.” This is at least the second slip-and-fall fatality in recent years at Eagle Falls. In 2019, a young...

A new measurement confirms the subatomic particle’s spherical shape to a record level of exactness, physicists report in the July 7 Science. That near-perfect roundness deepens the mystery behind how the universe came to be filled with matter as opposed to its counterpart, antimatter. Any asymmetry in the electron’s shape, namely the distribution of the particle’s electric charge, would point to a related asymmetry in the laws of nature, one that could explain this feature of the cosmos. The measurement — of a property known in physicist-speak as the electric dipole moment of the electron — is twice as precise...

The Republican Party's Freedom Caucus in Congress means well but has struggled to move past the MAGA era and into a realm where it can actually make a dent in our bloated bureaucracy. Now that the caucus has ousted Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), however, perhaps it can better serve the conservative movement. The Freedom Caucus purportedly voted to dismiss Greene after she and fellow member Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) exchanged words on the House floor recently. Greene apparently called Boebert " a little b****. " There were supposedly a handful of other reasons as well, including breaking with the...
