The American Dream is alive and well for most, but the younger generation and less educated do not share such optimism, according to a new poll conducted by NORC – University of Chicago. In a survey of 2,187 of U.S. residents – regardless of age, race, ethnicity, income, or education – a whopping 75% of respondents said they had achieved or are on their way to obtaining the American Dream, namely economic opportunity and freedom of choice.

The Ukrainian government accused Russia on Tuesday of planning a “provocation” at the Moscow-controlled Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, while Russia claimed that Kyiv was planning to “attack” the facility. Sharks have been spotted swimming in shallow waters at several Florida beaches this Fourth of July weekend, sending frantic swimmers fleeing to safety as beachgoers took videos of the startling incidents. A hammerhead shark appeared zipping in and out of shallow waters in Perdido Key Sunday afternoon — at one point swimming five to 10 yards offshore, WEAR TV reported.
