The Ukrainian government accused Russia on Tuesday of planning a “provocation” at the Moscow-controlled Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, while Russia claimed that Kyiv was planning to “attack” the facility.
Fears over the safety risks for the nuclear plant, Europe’s largest, have been constant throughout Russia’s invasion, but increased in early June after the destruction of the Kakhovka dam, the source of cooling water for its reactors.
The mutual accusations were made around the same time late on Tuesday.
Kyiv’s military warned of the “possible preparation of a provocation on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia power plant in the near future”.

‘Capable of anything’: How the ‘99 apartment bombings explain Putin’s rise and regime

Another false flag in preparation by Putin...
He did it to launch the Chechnya war...
Would you explain what objectives it is supposed to reach?
“Would you explain what objectives it is supposed to reach?”
>>>>>>>>>>>>
Absolutely.
Military speaking, the politicians in the Kremlin have always gone “scorched earth” when things doesn’t look too well. They burn everything down and leave the place. Typical Soviet tactics. Unfortunately, it can be quite effective.
They probaby think that a “small incident” at the nuclear plant In Zaporizhia will bog down the forthcoming Ukrainian advances there. After all, Russia already proved its zealous unthusiasm by demolishing the damn! This wasn’t very smart in the long run, but indeed it clearly helped slow down the Ukrainian offensive in the South.
The problem is... Russia has proven to be a master in miscalculations since the war began. They love to open “Pandoras Boxes” one after the other.... and see what happens...like alchemists doing crazy experiments.
First miscalculation was evidently the invasion of Ukraine itself, which was supposed to take a couple of weeks and has now become a one and half year long war, with no end in sight. The invasion they started is just as unnecessary as our second Irak war - where only 5000 WMD chemical warheads were finally found. It wasn’t worth 5000 American lives. Russia though have lost 100.000 already is a very short time. This whole mess is worse than an exaggerated and fictional bloody horror movie.
As of now, there are zero gains for Russia from this invasion. Only trouble, high costs, bad publicity for their country, scores of dead humans, and a bleak future imposed on the Russian people who never wanted to invade anyone.
But the Kremlin has always been at odds with its own people... historically millions of Russian citizens have been killed / displaced because of the paranoia embodying the Kremlin decision-makers.
So yes, It’s totally possible that the Kremlin will miscalculate once again, and blow something up at the nuclear plant. They will use too much explosives (as usual) and the little incident they hoped for would instead become a nuclear disaster on a much broader scale than what they had planned...
Honestly, that makes no sense.
US is gonna strike the plant.
What Ukrainian advances? Are you on drugs?
What Ukrainian advances?
—
One year advance of the mighty Russian army covered 35 km - from Luhansk to Soledar to Bakhmut.
Contrast with Ukrainian army that took 10 km in one month.
“What Ukrainian advances?”

A dozen villages have already been taken back by Ukraine since the “shaping phase of the counteroffensive started. The big counteroffensive hasn’t started yet. In the south alone +60 square miles have also been retaken.
But the big thing going on right now, is all the massive destruction of Russian ammunition depots, barracks, behind the lines military centers, command centers, bridges, roads, railways and other vital infrastructure for the Russians, and the elimination of high-ranking officers and generals. All THAT is what’s going on right now - the behind lines “softening” operations.
LOL. A level of delusion is something. Is the second paragraph about France?
You do not belong to the competent war school. Your evaluation of success is childish.
Inside your bunker in Moscow, I think the news isn’t reaching you.
So no one has yet given you the news about the villages Ukraine has liberated?
The news about the 60 square miles liberated?
About the non-stop destruction of huge Russian munitions depots?
About the fact that the Russian flanks north and south of Bakhmut are collapsing? Ukrainians surrounding Bakhmut is only a question of time now.
For your viewing pleasure here is the latest video of a gigantic Russian ammunition storage exploding (a few hours ago):
A grandiose explosion!

I love the evolution of your propaganda. A year ago Petraeus and flying monkeys were telling how you are going to be in Crimea by April. Superior NATO training and weapons against “subhumans” and stuff.
Now, you are celebrating taking a five hut village and vying for Bakhmut which doesn’t even exist as a population center anymore and have zero value.
Regarding video, I can make such in my backyard.
My hero. My Soviet master, how kind of you to launch such a personal attack!!
I remind you

You are beginning to panic, clearly.
There are many Ukrainian wins, but you refuse to acknowledge them. That’s your choice.
Also, you don’t seem to understand :
Did you know that it was the Swedish pre-Viking era people (the Rus) who founded Kiev in 482? Moscow was founded 665 years later in 1147 !
Thus, Kiev has the experience, they are the old sages. While the Moscovits are acting like spoiled young brats, the newcomers. They have no respect for their ancestors . They are acting like “pupils” who wants the replace their teachers in Kiev.
Without Sweden, Russia wouldn’t even be called “Russia” today. Let that sink in...
