In their 2010 sunshine pop song “San Francisco,” The Mowgli’s declared that they lost their heads in San Francisco. Now, it seems like San Francisco Travel has joined them, but in an unromantic and oblivious way. The tourism organization released an ad begging for tourists who're understandably avoiding the city because of its woke policies and their consequences to come back. Their strategy? Displaying how wonderfully woke the city truly is. “Always San Francisco” features, among other things, a dancing drag queen and a man in a wheelchair pretending to be a woman. The ad has gotten plenty of backlash...

These are weapons that cost between $20,000 and $60,000 on the black market , with shots that can cost approximately $30,000 per ammunition and require specialized training to operate. The armed civilian who boasts an embroidered emblem of Los Escorpiones, in addition...

Whether we agree with the rules around guns or not, we have to decide whether we’re going to follow them or whether we’re going to do no such thing. For some, they’re more than willing to be a test case for challenging gun laws. For others, not so much. Then there’s Hunter Biden. For him, it sure looked like he didn’t care about the laws on the books in pretty much any way, but particularly for the laws regarding the ownership of firearms by habitual drug users. And now he’s facing potential charges for violating that law, as is only...

Researchers have investigated how junk food affects sleep. Healthy participants consumed an unhealthier as well as a healthier diet in a randomized order. After the unhealthier diet, the quality of participants' deep sleep had deteriorated, compared with those who had followed the healthier diet. Each study session involved several days of monitoring in a sleep laboratory. In random order, participants were given both a healthier diet and an unhealthier diet. Among other things, the unhealthier diet contained a higher content of sugar and saturated fat and more processed food items. The meals of each diet had to be consumed at...

An FBI whistleblower knows where the evidence is buried — and Sens. Chuck Grassley and James Comer have brought their shovels. After a confidential human source claimed then-Vice President Joe Biden agreed to accept money from a foreign national to affect policy decisions, FBI agents used what’s called an FD-1023 form to record the allegation. Now FBI Director Christopher Wray is defying a May 3 congressional subpoena to provide this form. On Tuesday, in response to Wray’s refusal to hand over the documents, Oversight and Accountability Committee Chair James Comer announced the House will move to hold the FBI director...

The California Senate on Tuesday voted to pay $300 weekly checks to unemployed illegal immigrants even as the state faces a roughly $31.5 billion deficit and mass illegal immigration. Democratic state senators passed Senate Bill 227 by Sen. María Elena Durazo (D.) with a 30-7 vote, sending the measure to the Assembly for approval. The legislation would offer undocumented aliens up to 20 weeks of unemployment benefits if they meet minimal work requirements. California’s unemployment insurance fund, which was defrauded of some $31 billion during the COVID-19 pandemic, would be in charge of dispensing the checks. California employers are on...

(May 31, 2023) — The Democrats and complicit Republicans fear Trump mostly because he is the only candidate who openly said he does not believe Obama is eligible and that Obama is an identity fraud. Trump is correct. That is a big deal because both parties did nothing to stop Obama from being sworn in, meaning both parties committed treason and must now protect Obama and others who could lead to Obama to protect themselves. In my view, this was and is obvious, clear and easy to understand from day one, and the actions and inaction of both parties have...

“I’m tellin’ ya straight up, I’m not a fool,” Bielecki said. That’s when he used the n-word to say what else he wasn’t; besides a fool. Some audience members gasped and yelled out in shock and disbelief. “Oh!” .... The tall, affable deputy, who’s stood as silent sentry for probably thousands of hours’ of board meetings, told Jones he would not remove Blayz because he’d done nothing wrong. That deputy deserves accolades for standing up to Jones, for knowing the rules and speaking the truth, even to the board chair who happens to be a literal gun dealer. ...

Stocks have climbed in 2023 after suffering through a bear market in 2022. But according to legendary investor Jim Rogers, the next downturn could be more painful. In a recent interview with Real Vision, Rogers explained why his outlook is so bleak. “[In] 2008, we had a bear market because of too much debt,” he said. “Look out the window since 2008, debt everywhere has skyrocketed.” And that does not bode well for investors. “It’s a simple statement that the next bear market will be the worst in my lifetime because the debt has gone up by such staggering amounts...

Republican presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said this week that former President Trump’s taunts regarding his last name are “petty” and “juvenile.” “I think it’s so petty. I think it’s so juvenile. I don’t think that’s what voters want,” DeSantis told Jack Heath on “The Pulse of New Hampshire.” Trump recently mocked DeSantis for the pronunciation of his last name and referred to the Florida governor as “Ron DeSanctimonious,” a nickname the former president frequently uses. DeSantis told Heath that Trump’s behavior is one of the reasons why he lost the 2020 presidential election.

Miller/IPAC) *********************************************************** Using the James Webb Space Telescope, scientists have created the first detailed temperature map of exoplanet WASP-18 b, and identified water vapor in its extremely hot atmosphere. These findings are providing valuable insights into the planet’s formation, suggesting it likely emerged from the leftover...

New data shows that teachers are more likely to abuse kids than Catholic Priests, shining light on a disturbing growing trend in public schools. As sexual abuse by teachers continues to rise, parents and students grow more concerned about the health and well-being of their families. The public education system has embraced grooming techniques that normalize sexual behavior and sexuality in children as young as pre-school. Middle schoolers are now avidly taught about masturbation in class, while pornographic books remain in some public schools for the sake of “diversity & inclusion.” It’s enough to make anyone wonder if this material...

It was Monday, May 7, 1945, and the headline of the Klamath Falls, Oregon Herald and News read: “Blast Kills 6, five children, Pastor’s wife in explosion”.
