His death was confirmed to the PA news agency by a registrar at Maidenhead Town Hall. The...

Remember when our liberal friends hated the FBI and its cross-dressing Director J. Edgar Hoover? I know: imagine today's liberals as transphobes; it's easy if you try. But now there's nothing for liberals to see at the FBI. The New York Times paper edition had a small front-page headline right at the fold on May 16 upon the release of the Durham report, the sweeties. Seriously though: you expected indictments? One reaction in non-regime circles was from Kim Strassel in the Wall Street Journal writing that the FBI is not all bad. And then there was Scott Johnson who argued...

Lakeridge High School students have apparently been removing tampon dispensers from the walls of boys' bathrooms and depositing them in the toilet. According to the Daily Caller, the school sent out an email about the issue and reportedly attached a photo of a dispenser in a boys' restroom toilet. Oregon state law requires public schools to supply free tampons and sanitary pads in bathroom dispensers, including in restrooms designated for males. "Each time that the dispensers are taken down, the school needs to spend time and resources putting them back up in order to be compliant with House Bill 3294...

The twelve apostles included "Matthew the tax-gatherer" (Matt. 10:3). Never lose your sense of awe over Christ’s forgiveness. Matthew describes himself as "Matthew the tax-gatherer" (Matt. 10:3). He is the only apostle whose name is associated with an occupation. Apparently Matthew never forgot what he had been saved from, and never lost his sense of awe and unworthiness over Christ's forgiveness. This is how he set the scene of his own conversion: Matthew 9:1-8 tells us Jesus forgave the sins of a paralytic man and then healed him of his paralysis. When the Jewish scribes accused Him of blasphemy for...

It’s often hard to do things we don’t want to do without motivation or accountability. Always going it alone without support and encouragement means all the motivation has to come from the inside. It also means there is no one around to keep us accountable. When I can’t keep up with my grandchildren, it’s usually because I’ve been allowing myself extra slices of pizza and chocolate cake. If I’m alone and feel a bad attitude coming on, I only affect myself. On the other hand, it will catch on like a virus and will have to be addressed as soon...

Leo Dee announces intention to sue CNN for 'shootout' comments, says he rejected Christiane Amanpour's email apology. Leo Dee, who lost his wife and two of his daughters in a terror attack, has announced that he will sue CNN for comments claiming they were "killed in a shootout." Speaking to i24NEWS, Dee said, "The fact that they said they were killed, and not brutally murdered by evil Palestinian terrorists funded by Iran is the typical CNN-ism, where they basically try like this comparison between the victim and the terrorist." "Christiane Amanpour wrote me a brief email apologizing for any misunderstanding...

REPORTS FROM CINCINNATI, CINCINNATI, Friday, May 22. The Gazette's Murfreesboro' dispatch has contradictory reports from the Mississippi. One report is, that Gen. GRANT has been driven back from Jackson and Port Gibson, and that Gen. JOE JOHNSTON's forces have possession of the Jackson and Vicksburgh Railroad. Another report is that Gen. GRANT has beaten Gen. JOHNSTON, and taken possession of the railroad bridge over the Big Black River, which is a most important movement in that section of country, as it entirely cuts off rebel communication with Vicksburgh. Advices via Cairo say that our loss at Raymond was 71 killed...

Doha (AFP) – Qatar's energy minister warned on Tuesday the "worst is yet to come" for Europe's oil and gas shortages, saying a warm winter had prevented greater difficulties in recent months. Saad al-Kaabi and his Saudi counterpart Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said a lack of investment in oil and gas, as the world tries to transition to cleaner fuels to prevent global warming, risked causing an energy crunch. "The only thing that saved humanity and Europe this year was a warm winter, and the slowdown in the economy," Qatari Energy Minister Saad Al-Kaabi told the Qatar Economic Forum. "If...

By the time he left office, Obama had all his cucks in a row -- prominent sycophants in every branch of the government and in every major newsroom prepared to ruin Donald Trump’s presidency in service to a lie. Two enduring aphorisms emerged from the Watergate affair, both directed at then-president Richard Nixon. The one at the outset of the investigation was delivered in the form of a question: “What did he know and when did he know it?” The second came at the end in the form of a warning to future presidents: “The cover-up is worse than the...

Europe is starting to reverse the decline of its once-strong semiconductor industry, a potentially important turn in the escalating tech war pitting the US and its allies against China. Despite having some of the world’s best technology – and despite the large size of the European economy – Europe’s chip industry has dwindled to just a third of the silicon wafer processing capacity of Japan and less than half of the US. Both the private sector and EU bureaucracy are now working to reverse the decline, though the hyperbole of some politicians is obscuring the situation. For example, on May...

Bruno Kahl, the head of the German Intelligence Agency (BND), said on Monday that he does not see any weakening of Russian President Vladimir Putin's rule. "We see no cracks in the Putin system," Kahl said at the Federal Academy for Security Policy (BAKS). Kahl argued that public criticism of the management of the war amount to routine disputes within Russian society and do not pose a threat to the Putin regime. "Russia is still capable of waging a long-range war," he said, pointing to newly recruited soldiers. Kahl said that Russia also has enough equipment and ammunition.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is meddling in the Balkans to foment a second conflict in Eastern Europe to distract the West from his war in Ukraine — and Washington should be paying closer attention.

Ukraine launched an operation into Russia in the morning of May 22 focused on the outskirts of Belgorod, where the Ukrainians initially took three settlements. A Russian border crossing in the Belgorod oblast was reportedly destroyed by artillery shelling from the territory of Ukraine. After that, the incursion of troops supported by armored vehicles from Ukraine into the Belgorod oblast began. This operation had both a political and strategic objective. The political objective was to embarrass the Russians, who were very slow to respond to the incursion and to take attention away from the huge Ukrainian army failure in Bakhmut....
