Lakeridge High School students have apparently been removing tampon dispensers from the walls of boys' bathrooms and depositing them in the toilet.
According to the Daily Caller, the school sent out an email about the issue and reportedly attached a photo of a dispenser in a boys' restroom toilet.
Oregon state law requires public schools to supply free tampons and sanitary pads in bathroom dispensers, including in restrooms designated for males.
"Each time that the dispensers are taken down, the school needs to spend time and resources putting them back up in order to be compliant with House Bill 3294 [Menstrual Dignity Act]," the email noted, according to the Daily Caller. "We are asking our student body to be respectful of school property, and to be sensitive to all of our student's needs."
The absurd requirement to furnish free menstrual products in the boy's restroom reflects the metastasization of radical leftist gender ideology in society.
"This is a perfect example of throwing away tax dollars in Oregon public schools," vice president of Parents Defending Education Caroline Moore noted, according to the outlet. "This isn’t about vandalizing school property — we all know that is bad. The boys are signaling they are not girls and they want to be left alone. It is appalling that any school district is furthering the bizarre agenda from the left where they neglect science and believe men require tampons. Aren't the teachers supposed to be teaching them elementary facts, like I don't know, anatomy?”
Think of it as a most peaceful protest.
Frankly, I wondered why we weren’t hearing about things like this. I expected boys to be boys! ;-)
Now they're going to leave tampons all over the school.
Good. Next step, remove those responsible for the installation and waste of taxpayer dollars.
The “free” sanitary pads are stuck to the wall in our local school, spelling out messages. Another waste of taxpayer funds.
Clog up enough toilets with them and this will BS end.
“Oregon state law requires public schools to supply free tampons and sanitary pads in bathroom dispensers, including in restrooms designated for males.”
Fraud, waste, and abuse if OUR tax dollars.
Seems the Homo Lobby owns that School District.
LOL, I like the approach, but we all know, all it will do is cause them to double down, spend MORE taxpayer dollars to bolt them to the wall as securely as gun safes, install expensive fingerprint authenticators on them, buy an expensive piece of software running on a server so that all kids have to declare their Gender and register as such, get fingerprinted...
Well, you know how it will go.
When the money to double down on bad decisions is unlimited (they will take the money from hiring math or history teachers) as sure as God made little green apples, that is what is going to happen.
In my day mischief was smoking in the boys’ room or occasionally putting a cherry bomb in a toilet. Now it’s putting a tampon dispenser into a toilet.
So young boys are showing people how deal with science deniers. They have more guts than Republicans in congress.
As if you could really disinfect one properly without disassembly which I doubt they're doing.(non-sanitary pads)
Them boys need to learn about JB Weld and clog every hole and lock up every moving part of the dispensers with it.
These putzes should be happy the kids are ignorant - that they're not opening the damn things and flushing them.
Talk about plumbing headaches!!
Those students have more balls than our politicians.
You go, boys.
Heh, we used to put lit M80s down the toilets... SCHOOL DISMISSED FOR THE DAY OR TWO!
Everytime a tampon dispenser is ripped off a men’s room wall an angel gets it’s wings.
