Bruno Kahl, the head of the German Intelligence Agency (BND), said on Monday that he does not see any weakening of Russian President Vladimir Putin's rule.
"We see no cracks in the Putin system," Kahl said at the Federal Academy for Security Policy (BAKS).
Kahl argued that public criticism of the management of the war amount to routine disputes within Russian society and do not pose a threat to the Putin regime.
"Russia is still capable of waging a long-range war," he said, pointing to newly recruited soldiers. Kahl said that Russia also has enough equipment and ammunition.

I’m not sure I’d call it stalemated in that the Neocons are burning through the weapons stockpiles that Reagan left them, while never bothering to retain the capability to surge production levels. Russia, on the other hand, knew this war was coming and thus prepared.
Based on that, I expect this war to end rather quickly once the sides are unbalanced enough for Russia to make their move.
Putin has an 80% approval rating and was never in any danger of being deposed. All the talk about Kremlin insiders wanting him gone was just propaganda.
NATO-equipped Ukraine mercenaries are actually making attacks within Russia itself.
For most Russians, it is proving what Putin and his party have been warning about for the last 15+ years
Just take a trip to beautiful St Petersburg or Moscow- you will see huge support for Vlad ( even huge banners saying “ Take Odessa” ), life is vibrant there.

Hopefully the US will withdraw from NATO under the next R prez.
